Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. A few of the zed blacks hermed..spreading pollen into the flower tent. Already seeing some seeds develop. It is what it is. I should have done a better job checking on them. I kept the Zed blacks that only had a couple flowers on the bottom but tossed anything that had flowers growing up the majority of the plant. Some of the most famous strains in the world were self pollinated so I don't have issues with a couple male flowers. They're just trying to improve their fitness as nature intended. The plants are doing very well. A few of the bottom leaves are dying which is normal...senecense! Sucking up those nutrients. I've been liquid feeding using the fish, seaweed, humate and recharge. I have saved the males and they are trying to reveg. Still popping out a few flowers which I'm cutting off. 1 rainbow belt. 1 zed black. 3 hash plants The hash plants are smelling incredible. Definitely a few keepers mixed in here. Maybe 3/7. Hopefully the quality of the flower backs it up. Zed blacks have 2/3 I'm interested in. One is very very low yield. Unless its a really high quality plant I'm gonna toss it Rainbow belts are both smelling ridiculous. Super frosty. Good yield. One is slightly more frosted than the other. The zkittles pheno has pure Skittles smell with a little lemon cleaner chem to back it up. Probably my keeper!

Here we go! All three Strawberry Gorilla's continue to flower away with the #2 pheno still in the lead and looking the best of the bunch. The other two phenotypes have struggled constantly, but nevertheless have survived and I'm curious to see how they'll turn out when finished! I'm continuing with running the AirCube reservoir for 5-6 days between drain/refill, only topping off with well water and checking/adjusting the PH. The beginning strength of the added Plagron nutrients is 800ppm, and over the course of the 5-6 days it has only been dropping approximately 150ppm's. 12/8- Yesterday I removed the other three plants that were growing in this run with the Strawberry Gorilla's to get finished up. Now the ladies are only sharing the nutrient solution with each other, which hopefully will have positive results... time will tell. I'm continuing to monitor the AirCube reservoir, maintaining the solution level and PH twice daily. I have the HLG 650R set to 100% output now and have it hung 28" above the canopy. 12/10- Yesterday I went through the #1 and #3 plants and removed a bunch of shade leaves that were either blocking light or were damaged looking. The reservoir is beginning to stink so, tomorrow I'll be doing a drain/clean/fill on it which I'm sure the plants, and my nose will appreciate! 12/12- Now that I have removed the other three plants from their pots, I went ahead and pulled the #3 plant and placed it in the center empty pot giving everybody way more room to spread out. After moving the #3, I did some more LST on all three plants. Well there goes the 5th week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's. This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

The ladies are doing great and growing well. I'm really happy with the progress so far. They have now reached 60 cm. I plan to install the Scrog net within the next few days to allow them to grow wider.

Through week 5 of flower and all is generally good. The whole tent stinks like hell of berries, pine and earthy Kush. They’re all presenting something a little different in terms of growth but still very similar terp profiles and bud structure. Seed maturation is showing on some of the lower nodes as well. We’re getting much closer here. Hopefully not more than a couple weeks but we’ll see. #1 will go off first for sure. She’s showing a progressing N deficiency that likely isn’t fixable but it does remain possible she’s simply ending her cycle. If so, it’ll be a trait worth noting on the F2 run. Until next week, ✌️! Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week 9 Didn’t do anything this week except water the lady’s. My telescopes batteries died so I can’t take pics of the tricomes. Rest assured they are nice as hell. They are a massive mix of colour. You see purple, cloudy yellow and amber. Super excited to puff on these nugs!!

12/30/2021 5 Biscotti Skunk, 5 Lemon OG, 4 Grape Skunk. Starting veg at 18 hours for 4 or 5 weeks of veg and into flowering. Will reppot this week into 6" pots then into 3 gallon pots. One maybe going to 20 gallon fabric pot, if I got an extra one but I'll see 🙏🏻 Potted up to 6" pots 1,Biscotti Skunk 1,Grape Skunk 1,Biscotti Skunk Hoping to start a staggerd grow where I can trim only 3 plants a week. Into pots I added 1 tsp per 6" pot of Coast of Maine stonington plant food 5-2-4 added to happy frogs .30-.30-.05 NPK they should fill out quickly in time for reppot in 2-3 weeks.

Wir stehen kurz vor der Ernte. Die Farben und die Blätter sprechen für sich, das ist eindeutig der Herbst. Dem Duft nach, könnte ich direkt reinbeißen.
