week one ( day 1-7) went great , i germinated both seed in paper towels and transferred them to big pots . 1 (30 liter pot) !(25 liter pot). after that i got them outside in the sun as much as i could (it was pretty grey and bad weather) while keeping the soil damp with a spraybottle and keeping a sliced bottle over the top to increase humidity. just had to wait for my tent and lights to arive the first week.

Final and longest week lol I dried these lady’s for 7 days in the tent I grew them in. The tent was around 73F-75F temperature. I used a humidifier to keep the humidity in between 55 and 60. I hung them on the trellis netting. Once they dried I trimmed and put them into jars.

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. All finished up this girl has impressed me for one gallon of dirt she has really been quite the plant and as far as appearance goes she is beautiful while and late flower she smells exactly like blueberry Pop-Tarts after the dry and the cure the blueberry remained strong but the Pop-Tart kind of faded but it's okay because blueberries are tasty lol seeing how it's across the somango and blueberry it makes sense.. the big question is what I grow her again and the answer to that is yes.. she has quite the frost and bag appeal

Week 10! Only a few more to go then glory!! Watering regular 2L every 3 days. Use of GHE nutrients I have been using half dose so I don't get a nutrient lockout. Saw a few GNATS flying around my tent!! Put out a few Sticky Stiks to catch them and gave a light spay of insecticide with the light off for half hour. I also put up a fly strip, not to hopeful? This could be a problem if not caught right away!! First thing I gotta do is stop watering them,dry out to kill the larvae in the top inch of the soil. The best way to kill fungus gnats and other crawlers is Diatomaceous Earth Powder. Sprinkle on top of soil, works great. Gnats are gone now took 3 days.

EXPERIMENT: Still waiting on the teapot to boil the water properly, but the photos and video of the "still" attached to this diary shows proof of concept. The sludge coming out is from the copper tubing manufacturing process, it'll eventually stop. I need to get the real setup built and run a couple gallons through the tube. Plant B is coming along nicely! I have a feeling it's going to finish around week 6 rather than the full 8 week period advertised. So I've started the flushing process. I can always add nutrients if necessary. Flushed twice this week with 2.5 gal of pH-adjusted distilled water. Plant A doesn't seem to like the bud blaster. I think it'll finish around the 8 weeks advertised. I flushed all week same as plant B, though I will probably add more nutrients to A next week. It just seemed to be getting some nutrient burn so I wanted to back off.

Had a bit of a bad week with the girls in flower tent also had few issues with the ph @6.3 been to high causing a few problems had to defoliate all affected leaves hopefully they will bounce back

Another good week of growth this week. 🌱🙂 The smell is certainly getting stronger changing to a sweeter smell indicating these girls are starting to produce trichomes. More defoliating again this week removing any leafs blocking main bud sites also removing a few of the lower bud sites that will struggle to receive any light. Light still set at 90% power also still rotating the pots every few days to help spread the light as best I can. 🙂✌️

This week a few different things happened . 1. After I flushed to remedy all purple stems Runtz & Zkittlez developed deformed leaf sets. The runts leaf set didn’t form on 1 side of the vein. The Zkittlez formed leaf sets with a missing finger . Instead of the being 5 fingers on the 3rd set there were 4 fingers . 2. Day #10 plants looked really sad & droopy the leaves of my plants where pointing downward & the 1st set of serrated leaves began to yellow . 3. To rectify the “super soil” dropping the PH of the water I fed the girls I purchased some PH UP & experimented with a few cups of my soil & found if I put in water at 9.5PH the “Super Soil” balanced out at 6.5 . My tap water PH is about 7.5 with a 200ppm (yes , yes, I know , tell me about it) if I put regular tap water in my soil drops it to a 5.1 -5.3 which led to the purple stems in the 1st week. Granted I’m kinda working backwards to work with what I have in order to utilize my investments it’s a means to an end I suppose BUT I AM OPEN TO SENSIBLE THOUGHT OUT ADVICE THANKS. 4. Day #11 I transplanted all the girls into full strength super soil . If I hadn’t had to flush i could have held out another week tops in my solo cups . I could have gotten to atleast the 6th maybe 7th node before transplanting into full strength soil. Currently I’m at the 4th node & noticing slight canoeing of the leaves . This is my first grow in this “supersoil” also my 1st time mixing my own amendments to make said “supersoil” so for the time being I’ll just keep an eye on it & hope the plant establishes quickly enough to be able to consume the quantities of nutrients in this soil THUS my generous generous use of Mykos . Today makes 2 weeks for Runtz & #1 GDP the the remaining 4 are at day #13. I’m still hoping by day 16 I can start LST’ing . All but 1 or 2 of the girls have began growing secondary shoots along the nodes so I’m getting more an more excited . I’m just envisioning the plants I want to have until it comes to fruition. I am by no means an expert I’m not even a reasonably decent grower . Out of the 3 runs I’ve done so far only one produced smokable poor quality buds . Each time spawning more research & a tweak to the setup . THIS TIME I AM CALM COOL & COLLECTED as I’ve ever been & have my eyes set on a lofty yield of high quality buds I’m aiming to get a QP p/plant but honestly I want to push them to get a HP p/plant . Which sounds like I’m in Narnia NeverLand with such high expectations .. I’ll just shoot for the starts & if I land on the moon instead I’ll be happy with that as long as the end results in me being high . Week 2 in the books 📚

PE will be harvested this week, super excited! Trichomes are just about where I want them, just waiting on a little more amber. PT is chugging along, looking like she’s going to have some larger buds this time! WW is still mostly white in her pistils, she will take longer than PE to finish up. WW in the small tent is looking fantastic, she’s ScrOGed and has been teaching towards the light a bit. Hoping for a big yield off this plant. BW is still small but she looks like she’s getting nice trichome development. Should be harvesting almost weekly, super excited to see how much I get from this entire grow. I thought I wasn’t going to use the net trellis but it is a must and it help me eliminate everything below. Some may say I cut off a lot of yield but I’m okay leaving out the pop corn buds and just keep the top colas or those that praying to the light

Growing N Showing

It has been so hot, dry and yet humid this past week! We desperately need rain, if not I'll have to start trucking water from the house since the streambed is dry, which I included a video of. The girls are really stretching since they started to flower. Bubba Kush is the tallest at almost 60 inches and she has some lovely purple on her branches that I included in the photos. I finished up the Alaska brand fertilizer and found a local one at my garden supply store. It's from Saltwater Farm and it's a 3-2-2 Fish and Seaweed liquid fertilizer. They seem to like it just fine!
