This week, the plants have shown strong growth, with nearly 10cm of height gained. Dominant branches are starting to emerge, though all the shoots are making their way towards the light. The plants are very thirsty, requiring more water, and I've removed a few side branches and shading leaves to improve airflow and light penetration.

Start of week 6 of flowering. Plant 2, survived last week's heat stress and seems to be recovering well. With the new exhaust fan - vivosun 4 inch, 195cfm - my temps have not exceeded 35°c at any time I've spot checked. Hopefully no more issues or setbacks for the rest of this grow.

These ones look to be moving from the stretching phase into full bud production now. I am starting to see more and more trichomes develop which is exciting. Carried a good bit of defoliation this week cleaning up the lower branches and removing larger leafs that block multiple bud sites. Light still is set at 90% power. ✌️🌱🙂

I turned her pot and plucked a couple of yellow shade leaves...the basic daily maintenance. 9/22- I didn't water her yesterday as she looked great and was 'praying' hard. Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn. I'm keeping an eye on what appears to be a few seeds developing. I'm hoping they're just fat calyx's that haven't matured yet however there's a strong possibility that, due to a temperature fluctuation that was excessive (20℉) may have caused her to stress and turn hermaphroditic... Fingers crossed! 🤔🤞 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she is right on track to be finishing up in the next 2-3 weeks. I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and gave the last Top Dress of Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, Down To Earth Bio-Fish, Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! Well they definitely made progress in the flowering dept over the weekend! I came back home to find a nice amount of bud sites and pistil growth all around. Bubba ya gotten so big it can’t fit under my lights in the tent with fan & filter, so it’s now been moved to the other tent. Kind of fucks with my auto grow I had planned, but not much I can do

Chopped today, not enough room in dry tent to give her 48 hours in dark prior. The 4 tops didn't develop as well as hoped. It was the first time I topped an auto twice and still ran out of room. On the plus side the plant developed more uniformed. Buds were dense, hard. Hung 4 candelabra looking tops, the rest hung in bread wire chains. Great colors, decent gassy smell. Updates on weight and smoke in about 3 weeks.

Buds are gettin bigger and bigger. Super dense Main Buds.

I’m wondering if I should feed her a little bit of nitrogen or defoliate…time will tell. Her smell is really becoming stronger I am impressed for a week 4 of flower.

Well these things that I put may have helped me out with the LST factor that was needed to be done.. They how ever did also quite a lot of damage on the leafs unless you have lots of patience on your hands they'll work just fine 😁🌿 left the 5 one out if it (🔺zkittlez🔻) as i snapped both nodes and am just gna wait for her to recover unfortunately.... The perks of trying new shiz out 🤣.. The same plants just went into flower 💮

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. I don't know if I am just getting impatient but these GTH are taking ages . IM 7 weeks in and they could go as far as another 5 weeks!! Christmas is coming and my buds ain't getting fat 🙄 I just need to be patient. I'm going to add another 600w as I can afford it heatwise and after so long flowering i want to do all I can think to good result . I can't wait to see the back of this one 👊 3 days after this post I had a good growth spurt and some major development in my bud structure, on reflection, my plants look lovely. THe leaves are healthy and shiny, they are dark . I tied a lot of branches down and defoliated . THis has helped keep humidity levels down during lights out and also have given me the chance to have a good look at what's going on below the colas. I'm really pleased 😁. I was a bit down at the start of this week as you can tell by the start of my diary but by the looks of things it's gonna be a monster. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test.
