Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. I never thought I'd say it but i think when it comes to my indoor C4 vs my outdoor C4 Indoor takes the prize, I mean that's only for now lets see what happens in the upcoming weeks. I'm sticking to my bat turd mix and all sun, I shift her around during the heavy showers, yea it rains out here. I don't feed no store bought nutrients all from nature same goes for my indoor ... if you look closely you'll see that I lst her it's only because of her mutation.

I'm running a little test here🤓, I have cut the upper tops of the plant, and left the buds that were getting almost no light. I'm curious whats gonna happen... The idea is off course that those bud will turn out thick and fat as well😋. I'm gonna keep a close eye on the trichomes, so nothing gets out of hand and turns to brown. The shock of the harvest will take at least a day or 4 for them to get back I think, but maybe even a week... After a week I'm gonna decide if I will chop, or give m another shot overdrive. It all depends on how the trichomes look and the overall look of the plants.🤓 Have a nice week and till the next🤙🏼

Finally transplanted using Azos and Mykos. 7 gallon pots of pure coco. Decided to go with only 8 plants instead of the 12 allowed by law where I live. 3 lights, end to end, and the room is 6x12. There is a pickle barrel outside the room for the nutrient reservoir. By next weekend the first net will go up across the entire room. Gonna fill the net and flip the lights in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. the 4th week is over and she is doing well. i have started a light LST training. she has gained a good 10 cm in height and she looks healthy and strong. the pistols are becoming more visible.😃👍

8/26 - sporty looking great, praying hard! Posh is working on it. But look who finally showed up to the party! I’m calling her Baby spice. She sprouted 12 days after going in the soil. Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. Plants are really taking off! Smell in the tent is strong, widow is still stretching but the PT is not stretching so much as she is still seeming to try and bush-up so to speak. I have all three plants in the ScrOG net and it seems I will have a full tent. Buds are beginning to form and add some bulk to them as well. Took pictures with lights off this time to show how they’re growing.
