Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Week 13 in the books! was a full flush week, as I will be harvesting mid wk 14. Ive been watching tricomes, taking snipits of sugar leaves, and checking them over. These are 2nd & 3rd gen grows, from prev collected random strains.. In other words, Its always a Surprise as to what strain comes out. Ive got 3 different strains here.. a Sativa looking, a very White strain, and 2 plants of a colorful purplish strain.

I need the space now and shes not maturing properly, foxtailing and no further development except brown pistils. Trichomes 5% amber on oldest colas. Harvest report when dried. I haven't weighed wet as it's too awkward.

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be just starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium and all she'll be getting is straight water from here on out. I watered today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 0.75g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in roughly two weeks +/- but you never know... It always pays to let the trichomes tell you when it's time to harvest, not the breeder as they are only giving an approximate time due to the numerous factors that can affect the time of harvest. 10/10- Well, Week Seven has come, gone and we're one week closer to this girl finishing up! She's so freaking frosty now and starting to fade that she'll be testing my patience this week! I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of next week but we'll monitor her trichomes and let them be the guide... I can't wait! 🤩 I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. had to cut her very early because of some mold problems, but had about 50-60 grams of amazing, organic weed from this plant!

Still putting on girth(weight) I can honestly say this is a powerhouse of a plant fattening as quick as big autos ,I will grow it again and FIM it, it's a strain that's very forgiving, and doing great in organic soil,all mix with @Biotabs and @Ecotrive's Biosys and some @Plagron naturals,and minerals, and just water when needed. Chem OG is my first chem and i'm not disappointed at all, would have loved more yield but i vegged her for like 3 weeks so what do you want to do with that, in the end she took 11 full weeks to yield more than a zip dry and cured from each plant so who's got two thumbs and is not complaining. Looking forward to see how they do in the extractors, and tips welcome as always. Hope that you enjoy the vid, if you're in France once day, dont forget to bring some homegrown let's get high folks ! 🚀 Love testing out genetics thank you so much , next round incoming ! 🚀 So this grow clearly a very neat grow, kept right on top of things with VPD, always in the optimal ranges even if i had to manually tinker with the mister , the exhaust, the fans, the lights. Speaking of the lights i applied a "pumping technique" meaning moving the lights up a down : down going into flower, then up then down again towards the end of flower to trigger rippening. The smart proteins were used through out the grow meaning the veg went nuts, started smelling loud right out of seedling stage, then at flower stretch i think it does help give it a kick, mid flower though it makes the trichomes rippen quicker than the plant can put on biomass, meaning you get strong , ripe colas that come out a bit thin. Cut and harvested at 30% amber believe it or not, to me that's late but i couldnt believe it when i noticed the plant was ripe at 10 weeks so i let it go on a bit longer. wet trimmed and dried over 10 days, Jarred and cured for 2 months.

Last week of flush. It was 9 weeks of flower and now it's the most antecipated time for me, HARVEST!! :D Will hang them now for 10-15 days at 50% RH and 23ºC

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

Hello Diary, The third week of flowering has ended, Cherry Pie is progressing very nicely, which is clearly visible in the photos. Cherry Pie has almost stopped growing, it has grown a scant 3 cm, which means that that is more or less the height. 72 cm is almost ideal considering the size of the grow box. The main cola rises high above the other branches, it is completely covered with flowers. As for the flowers, they are developing nicely, it is still early to make any predictions, but if it continues to develop like this, I will be very happy. Cherry Pie has also started to smell more intensely, when I open the grow box, the smell is immediately noticeable. The leaves are a healthy green color, there are no signs of a lack of anything. Watering has become more frequent, they have become much thirstier. I have continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. All in all, I am very pleased with how Cherry Pie is progressing, I try to provide them with the best possible conditions and the plants return the favor in their own way. Here is what the past week looked like. 29/08/2024 - Day 36. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser and lowered the pH to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 01/09/2024 - Day 39. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 03/09/2024 - Day 41. Watering. Same procedure. 04/09/2024 - Day 42. End of the 6th week, or the third week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Cherry Pie - Day 42. - 72 cm.
