🚀 Dutch Passion - Melonads Runtz 🚀 100 days from seed and 52 days into flowering, and what a journey it's been! This beauty has developed into an absolute showstopper, with dense, trichome-covered buds that are sparkling from top to bottom. The sheer volume and frostiness of the buds are simply incredible – even the leaves surrounding the flowers are dusted in sugar, giving them an almost magical appearance. This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Hello and welcome to week 2 of veg phase for these five Epsilon F1 Hybrid ladies. Last week is now complete with daily updates and media so please check it out. For this week well frankly I am expecting massive growth. I have taken 3 fingered leaves from Normani today and five fingered from Ally. It takes more time to photo and diarise but it is rewarding to look back on! See you tomorrow! Day 9: Nothing to report. Sorry for lazy photos. Oh... Dinah has overtaken Lauren in a similar fashion. All girls kooking good except for some odd marks here and there (see video). Today after the photos and video and when she was back in the tent. Day 14: Fertigated 5l and performed LST and defoliation. Normani height was 32cm. End of week summary: Huge week of growth and these ladies are only just getting started. The pheno difference of Dinah is stark but super interesting.

Week 8 - Venom OG and an unknown seed strain. Tap Water and Espoma Bloom full dose - 12hr light schedule

Nicer weather, strange how different the two plants are. Girl scout cookie is very bushy, but no real flowers yet. Kush is tall and thin with much less foliage, but far more flowers.

2 weeks later and Girl crush is throwing out 12's... I will have to top her soon. I took her 1st two liters to prop clones but they failed repeatedly. She isnt a big stretcher and I'm not limited by vertical space at all so I'm not worried [even though my auto's are at the very least 30 and 45 days away from full maturity respectivly.] The ogreberry is somehow even easier to train than the whiskey zulu at this stage. The canopy is much more even and we'll just have to see if that remains true. This ogreberry smells fucking wild. The other two plants smell good and unique but the Ogreberry smells like fruit loops, lemon and the strongest note I smell every single time I test it, I can only describe as the "new" smell a baby gives off. I dont know if that's from the sweet cream of baby formula or what because I don't have a much experience with babies, but this is a very baby-like smell. It's shockingly absurd that this plant smells like an infant. This "new" quality reminds me of northern lights.

What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

Wow what a stretch! She is now in flower and a real beauty. Very light defoliation of some upper fan leaves and lower flower nodes. I will stake her this week as I am sure buds/colas will tip her branches over.

Downward leaf curl on tips. Must investigate. Leads feel a bit papery, need to look at why that is. Not enough n?.. hmm. Loving the shape of the plant though so far and real consistent growth. Thin stem.

So gonna stick with 1ml/l for the rest of the grow now, i think the problems were just too much in the soil and since lowering nutes the problems are slowing down. Another week or two for the Zkittlez, seeing amber on the sugar leaves but not quite on the buds yet although it is mostly cloudy. Lemon AK is behing as it was germed later but still looks to be forming some nice buds and now has a fantastic smell of its own. Looking forward to these so much cant wait!!!!

Day 64 (First Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re on day 64, and the flowering phase is in full swing. The buds are forming beautifully, and the plants have grown 5-10 cm above the SCROG net, creating a lush canopy. The humidity is steady at around 50% or lower, which is ideal for this stage. To recap, we've been maintaining an even canopy with the SCROG net and our Timor shield mantis continues to keep pests at bay naturally. Our plants are thriving, thanks to the even light distribution and careful humidity control. We're considering installing a second fan in a few weeks to improve airflow and potentially adding a second SCROG net to support the plants as they continue to stretch during flowering. This should help stabilize the plants and ensure they get the support they need as the buds get heavier. Any tips or advice for the next steps? Let us know in the comments!

First ever harvest! Plant #2 has been covered in trichomes for the last two weeks and with a jeweler's magnifying glass and my camera phone zooming 7x it's clear that many of trichomes have turned amber. I chopped her down last night and have been hanging the branches upside down in a cardboard box with a fan and dehumidifier. I've read I should keep the temperature in the 70s F and the humidity around 50%. I'm doing my best but the garage isn't well insulated so I'm at the mercy of the weather. I'll keep an eye on them and when the branches snap easily I'll get them in jars for curing. Plant #1 still has some time to go. The branches are filling out but to the naked eye there are no trichomes. When I look with the magnifying glass I can see them but I'm concerned that #2 had been coated in them for about two weeks now. Should I just wait? I think I'll just wait

1st feed of green rush leafy green grow, Gaia green all purpose and power bloom as I get ready to flip this girl to flower in a week or so.

AlienZ Automatic - Greenhouse Seed Co. Day 75 - watered with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She's not bulking as much as I had hoped, so I've increased the Bio Heaven and Acti-Vera to boost her metabolism a bit 👌🏻 She's quite bushy, so I've removed a few fan leaves with a goal to improve light penetration and airflow 👍🏻 She's getting close to harvest now, so probably from next week I will start to reduce the nutrients in her feed, but for now I'm just going to let her grow 💪🏻
