so this was the last week before harvest.. i intended to cut her down christmas day but decided to put her in 2 days of darkness before the chop.. she is now harvested an sat for a few days be4 entering jars for a curing.. the smell and these nugs is so yummi 😅

Mientras tanto os comento ya en la recta final de estas Red Cookies Gelato, siendo sinceros están muy pepinas y bien resinadas, los cogollos van muy tricomados y están súper hinchados, pero comento también que la variedad no es del todo estable, es algo complicada tienes que estar pendiente de ellas cada día observar que no salga un macho porque de 100 plantas habrán salido 3 machos y alguna hermafrodita , son frágiles. Fue mi primer proyecto de cruce que aún así dentro de ser el primero a salido demasiado bien porque no esperaba ni resultados positivos pero ahí están y toda la gente que la probó, todos los que se molestaron en conocerla o interesarse por ella se agradece ,porque todos habláis muy bien de ella aún siendo así de frágil, se agradece y valora mucho vuestra opinión, Fieras. Voy hacer estrés hídrico, cada vez regaré menos cantidad para que no se mueran las plantas pero si dejen de comer de las raíces de la parte de abajo, aparte van amarilleando las hojas más rápido y mientras terminan de madurar. Hasta aquí es toda la semana y casi todo el cultivo como quien dice, así que buenos humos y hasta la semana que viene 💨💨💨

Starting week 3. I decided to wait on feeding until next week. I say a comment where someone said the FFOF is a hot soil and should suffice until then. He also said to add about an inch more FFOF to recharge the soil which I did. We will see how the week goes. Middle of week 3 and decided to start the feeding regimen tomorrow. The girls look very healthy and I hope they continue on this path. Three weeks And had a small feeding yesterday. All looks good.

These kush are really beautiful and have huge peaks, they have 13 internodes and each of them is full of buds, quite large. They are really huge touch the ceiling, maybe one is too close to the lamps and I'm afraid you burn a little bit

Thought I'd show you guys some root growth. The 3 plants in the video are all gorrila zkittlz.... Non of which look the same or are growing the same way lol. No complaints its just interesting too see such difference characteristics from the same strain. GS#3 The tallest isn't as busy but has huge root growth and strong branches (thinest leaves darkest green) GS#1 The smallest the probability the most symmetrical but shortest in root growth (widest leaves and lightest green leaves) GS#2 The Mid size plant is basically a mix of both all round

The plants are looking really healthy, I've been defoliating here and there to get the light to penetrate to the lower leaves and branches. They have started to bush out from topping them last week. I started using Mammoth P Microbes halfway through last week. They seem to have grown a little quicker since adding them. The plants are still being fed 4 times a day at 1 minute each feeding. No signs yet of which is female and male, I am planning on pulling all the males once they show signs.

Planta hermosa, por problemas de respaldo no tengo sus fotos finales y es una pena :( pero puedo decirles que es una planta que rinde bien, entrega frutos de calidad y no es para nada exigente.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. I accidentally gave the babies a drink mixed with a shot of dehumidifier chemicals. I mean, there’s stiff learning curves being a first time grower but that is just thick as pig shit territory. It only dawned on me the next day and I rapidly flushed. Think the orange bud is looking a little healthier, but they are both hanging in there. Chemicalicious.

The leaves are a little bit dead but she will be potent. The buds looking great.
