May mother earth forgive me... The next day I saw a vole crawling into a hole near a plant, so I decided to buy a mouse trap I put a carrot in the trap and the hunt was successful I am the alpha predator in my garden... Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Week 2 - Nutrient regimen: 0.5 ml Armor Si + 1.5 ml CalMag + 6 ml FloraMicro + 9 ml FloraBloom + 2.5 ml RapidStart + 1 ml Floralicious Plus. Used at 2/3 strength diluted with decholorinated water and ph'd to 5.8. 9/14/2019 (V10) - Neem oil extract treatment seemed to have worked! Runoff from nutrient feeding presented no more bugs, but will probably give an additional neem dose prior to 1 gallon transplant. Growth appears stagnant possibly stemming from previous larvae contamination, but root growth is evident in above picture and stems no longer need support. 9/18/2019 (V14) - Seems to be growing at glacial pace. Leaves getting broader, but no third node visible yet, and no apparent vertical growth. Humidity in upper 40's and temperature at 74F. Tiny runoff in red cup seemed to spur the root growth out bottom of transparent cup.

De esta semana destacaré el cambio de luminaria, los Cob por el ATS Pro 300W. al 75% que vendrian a ser 225W. áprox. Algo menos de W de lo que estaban pero al tratarse de una nueva luminaria con más umoles no creo que se me estresen mucho. Más adelante cuando ya estén floreciendo subiré al 100% 300W. Riego cada 3 dias , a final de semana 900ml / planta. Último dia de la quinta semana poda de bajos , añadido unos tutores y el esperado 😜CAMBIO DE FOTOPERIODO a 12/12h. 🙏

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

Week 5 flower : upped the a&b to 2.5ml litre and steered the pk at 1.2ml per litre Blue cheese : they have completely outgrown the sunset sherbet . I’ve raised the light as the buds at the back of the tent were literally 1” away it didn’t do much harm although the leaves on them buds started to curl a little so I thought best to raise it now before it causes any stress . I’m still watering everyday to run off . I removed a few fan leaves but I am considering doing a bigger defoliation in a few days as the fan leaves have taken over . They are really starting to smell very sweet and filling out .I was worried about these seeds as I have grown Buddha blue cheese about 10 years ago and now they have changed the name to blueberry cheese and I was told they will be different from 10 years ago . So far I don’t think so as they look the same and smell the same at this point I can’t see any difference which I’m happy about as I haven’t had any good blue cheese for many many years .although they smell the filter is definitely controlling the smell outside the tent . Sunset sherbet : although it hasn’t grow very big it’s very frosty and starting to smell . I will carry on the pk for another 3-7 days and will start the flush about 6 1/2 weeks in for 2 weeks with plain water I will also defoliate about in a few days

So i never ended up doing the nutes i had. I waited until seeing pre flower and top dressed with natures living soil autoflower concentrate. So far so good. I do think they were cal-mag starved prior to adding this because they did start to yellow a bit in between veins. Going all organic from here on out and doing super soil.

Not a lot happened last week, just monitoring, feeding, and keeping everything in check while the girls did their thing. I did switch over to my finishing nutrients and have cut out calmag according to feeding chart I have been following. I think we are gettting pretty close to harvest though! The trichomes are starting to get a little milky. I am going to wait until about 30% amber to harvest though. I am getting super excited to finish this one and start my next run! 9/2 - The girls have been doing great and are starting to pack on the size and frost nicely! Nothing to do to them really except monitor and keep checking and making sure everything is running at an optimal level. The closer it gets I start to get a little nervous for the dry. I am prepared and have a plan, just hopefully I can get my dry set up as dialed in as I was able to get my grow tent. I will try to post more updates this week. Last week I had company from out of town, so it was difficult to get around to it. 9/5- Just continuing to monitor and check the trichomes, once about 25-30% turn amber I will be harvesting! They are starting to get pretty cloudy right now. When I did the res change yesterday, I switched to just root drip and full tilt and have started flushing, hopefully not too early, but im following my feeding chart. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth.
