DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. Hello Bros&Sis! Ciao!😊 this time I've decided to made a video update, from the start of the week to the finish, we're gonna see some BIG differences! (The longest is from the end) About the ladies: Girls in coco Royal AK- she's drinking every single drop op solution and has literally exploded! I'm really happy about her training (top/lst/hst). A very strong strain. OG Kush- I don't get this girl, she's definitely not an heavy drinker. Speedy Chile FF- when I re-potted her into 6lt pot, some of my Bros hoped for a Baobab, what do you think?😂 (has some mutations, has a growth of 3 leaves and then 2 branches have joined together and the other has grown normally) Ladies in Soil: UK Cheese auto- I've broke a branch due to heavy crop. Lesson learned. Pink Doc CBD auto- she's growing good, finally! The only thing I'm worried about is that she will not grow so much, because switch is near. Candy Kush Express- A really nice lady, not too tall, good side branches and she take everything with no care less (one of the most "broken" in the tent) Special Kush#1- She likes her new pot, but there's something wrong (see leaves) maybe related to VPD or RU? I've used different techniques on this ladies, but the one I like the most is cropping the branches and the main stems and also broke the branches where meets the stems, to give'em more power, and more "space" for nutrients transports in sight of bloom! That's all mate, we will see soon for the next update! Sept 23rd - could be the last week for Thai 1, checking on Thai 2, tomorrow morning 28th - THAI #1 has been harvested, trichome shots showed that web are there, and THAI #2 probably gets Chopped today as well. Pictures being finished tomorrow morning, then out to see #2 29th - Thai #1 weighs 4.6lbs in a single piece and that is how she hangs for a week - Thai #2 was chopped 15:00 will be hanging shortly

English: I decided to switch to 12/12 after week 6. The risk of the plants becoming too big for the tent was too great for me. Since switching to 12/12, I have also reduced the amount of water and am trying to push the EC in the substrate further in the 3.5-5 direction. I am still giving the full dose of Grow A & B and will continue to do so until week 3 or 4, depending on how they develop. I will also increase the PPFD from 500 to 900 within the first 3 weeks of flowering. Everything seems to be working well so far, the ladies are growing and also got their next defoliation at the end of the 1st week of flowering, as it was getting very dense. New updates coming next week :) Deutsch: Ich habe mich doch dazu entschieden nach Woche 6 auf 12/12 zu switchen. Das Risiko, dass die Pflanzen zu groß für das Zelt werden, war mir zu groß. Seit dem Switch auf 12/12 habe ich auch die Wassermenge reduziert und versuche dadurch den EC im Substrat weiter in die 3.5-5 Richtung zu pushen. Ich gebe weiterhin die volle Dosis Grow A & B und werde das auch weiter bis Woche 3 oder 4 tun, je nachdem wie sie sich entwickeln. Außerdem werde ich auch den PPFD Wert innerhalb der ersten 3 Blütewochen von 500 auf 900 hochfahren. Scheint so weit auch alles gut zu funktionieren, die Ladys wachsen und haben am Ende der 1. Blütewoche auch ihre nächste Defoliation bekommen, da es doch langsam sehr dicht wurde. Nächste Woche kommen neue Updates :)

Starting off week 8 and the girls are looking great. Switched over to a 1-4-3-6 of the CaliMag and Gen Hydro Trio for feeding. The clones are looking better too. May have lost one but time will tell. Taking a trip out of town for a week so I’m hoping the girls won’t miss me too much. The dehumidifier has been doing good at keeping RH down when lights are off. Clones have officially been transplanted at the end of week 8. That will be the end of their discussion moving forward in this diary as I will be making a new diary for them.

Starting tech production slight smell. I think the pheno is Skywalker dominant.

Week 2 in the books. I trimmed more lowers to help shape the tops the way I like. Swapped ratios from veg to flower to start the flowering process. One more week until autopilot.

This was my second grow ever. I started with a blueberry headband seed from a bud I got from the dispensary. This strain was very easy to grow and very forgiving. Final product had some seeds but wasn’t too bad.

Day 50: Added one gallon of pH 6.5 water with nutrients. Plant looking healthy. Continuing to try LST but the tent stakes are not wanting to stay in the soil. Going to get some soft plant ties and begin pinning to the smartpot. Forgot to take pictures. Day 51: Maybe approaching flowering? Day 52: Looking good. She's getting real thirsty. Day 53: Pretty Day 54: Added a gallon of water with nutrients, Man she's getting thirsty. Day 55: Posted timelapse but no glamour shots Day 56: Added one gallon of pH 6.5 water without nutrients.

lol guess the ladies arent in a rush to exit the tent. on day 8 of the flush now and still see some clear trics. maybe 80% milky with 20% clear and 0 to very small amber. other then that, not too much to report. could something be making the ladies mature a little slower near the end here? doubt lol i seem to worry alot, they looks absolutely amazing, the crystals are just absolutley caked!!!!!! like CAKED

Everything is going great, so far there have been no complications. From this week onwards, the quantity of BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax is increased to 4ml/1L. The lamp is also turned up, the measured value with the PhotoneApp is 1050-1150. -19.03.2025 Both plants were watered with 1.5 liters of water with fertilizer each. In addition, an extra fan is now running for better air circulation. -23.03.2025 The next week is coming to an end. The plants look good, the buds are growing and getting nice and frosty. I think the week after next will be the time to harvest the ladies. Both plants were watered the last time with 1.5 liters of water and fertilizer mix. From next week only clear water.

Wassuuuup my dudes 21 days into flowering and the results from the lst and defoliation are showing up. Multiple healthy tops and even the small nodes under the canopy are growing bigger, if all goes well I won’t have many popcorn nugs but I’ll have just big buds (let’s hope) I guess this also means they won’t stretch much more but I think some more height would be good for yield, anyway, can’t complain for the 1st grow and this is a process, there are no perfect grows! This week was also a week to add some more nutrients (the plagron) and it’s working very well for now! Let’s wait for the next few weeks, can’t wait to see the fatty buds 😂 Tell me what you think!

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

Planta Reagiu super bem ao transplante e voltou a crescer rapidamente. Isso fez com que eu decidisse fazer conforme programado e no último dia da 13 semana (29/01/2020) a 3 lampada (LED 50W 3000K) foi anicionada e o ciclo alterado para 12/12h. Como a terra de transplante já era fertilizada, apenas após 1 mês de flor será alimentada.
