Organic_bud21 At the beginning, there wasn't much to do. I mixed 100% osmosis water to 0.3 EC, using the drip method. 0.1 cal mag + 2:3:1 micro, grow bloom. In the first few days, watering every other day was enough. After that, I switched to daily watering, still without drainage. Since I always prepare for at least 5 days and had a few more seedlings to select from, mixing was quite easy. I never measured the height.

Organic_bud21 At the beginning of this week, repotting was on the agenda. Since I still had Mycotrex from the previous grow, everything will be used up, just like for potting 0.5g per planting hole. On the first day, I skipped watering to let the roots settle. The second day was watered normally with 10% of the pot volume. No drain. Starting from the 4th day of the third week, daily watering resumed at 10%. After repotting, I started with B-52 and Rhino Skin. B-52 was applied as a small experiment with Break Thru Foliar, right after repotting. I also noticed a slight thrips infestation. Therefore, at the end of the third flowering week, I treated with neem oil at 5ml per L of spray water, and beneficials were also introduced afterward. Predatory mites + lacewing eggs. From now on, 30% of the lower pot volume is Euro Pebbles.

Organic_bud21 This week, I topped gradually over 3 days. As soon as the first shoots of the 4th pair developed, I removed the bottom pair of shoots + leaves and the cotyledons. This time, I want to work with 6 main shoots per plant. After I finished with all of them and the wounds had healed for 1 day, I applied B-52 with Break Thru again to minimize stress and promote growth. From now on, I will also start watering with 10-15% drain every 3 days. For next time, it's definitely noted that I will transplant into the final pot first before topping, to save time. We are in week 4 of veg and will need the 5th week for recovery after transplanting, and I still need to work in the net. It didn't go exactly as planned, but all the plants are 100% healthy. The Green Poison F1 seem to have more problems with thrips than the others. I think that's due to the weak smell. All the others are odorless so far. I'm also still working without a filter.

Organic_bud21 At the beginning of the week, I repotted again. This time into the final pot of 7.5L. After repotting, I did a small foliar treatment with B-52 and Break Thru. I also separated the Green Poison F1 and Tropicana Poison F1 from the Crystal Candy F1. The substrate is exactly like before, 30% Euro Pebbles and 70% Light mix, both from Plagron. I kept the EC the same. I continue to water every third time with 10-15% drain, otherwise just about 600ml daily starting from the third day of the 5th week, an hour after sunrise. By the end of the week, I added the second Ts 1000 to get a more even distribution and I'm now getting closer to the canopy daily, not raising the lamp any higher. In hindsight, I should have set up the net right away to save more time. Not that everything is under time pressure, but the overly long veg shows later with more foliage than desired during flowering. Due to the cold temperatures at times, I had to heat already. That's why the humidifier from Mars Hydro was basically running continuously to keep the humidity at 65-70% in both tents.

Organic_bud21 In the 6th week, the focus was on recovering from repotting so that I can remove leaves and shoots that I don't need before flowering. By the end of the week, I set up the first net and wondered why I hadn't done it earlier. Well, you learn something new every time. I reduced the distance to the lamp to 60cm. Since there are no stressful situations planned for this week, I continued to apply B-52 Foliar weekly.

Organic_bud21 In the 7th week, I defoliated to prepare for flowering. Unfortunately, it was a bit too little, so the next day everything was basically fully grown again :( Overall, the problem was the vegetation phase being too long. After that, the focus was on recovery and evenly filling out the leaf canopy. I raised the EC to 1.2 after the trimming. Voodoo Juice was out of the schedule for now. So, I also gave the bacteria some feed to keep them alive, and I thought the complex carbohydrates and other additives from Bud Candy would benefit the plant, especially after defoliation. A day after defoliation, I applied Foliar B-52 again along with Break Thru to reduce stress and help it recover faster.

Organic_bud21 This week the automatic watering system from Mars Hydro arrived with a 50L tank. I needed all 8 drippers because I also had the F1s in the other tent, so it took me 3-4 hours to get everything set up just right. In the end, everything was running evenly at 1 minute 20 seconds, 500ml from each dripper. From that, I was able to calculate the required watering volume down to the second. By the way, the tank didn’t smell nearly as bad as a pool or other hydro hoses, which often gets negative comments. I continued to work the plants into the net and treated them one last time with B-52 and Break Thru Foliar. Otherwise, the plan was just to let them recover so that flowering can start soon.

Organic_bud21 Finally, the time has come and the first week of flowering was on the agenda. Overall, I need to shorten the veg stage a bit next time. A lot has changed this week. I started the flowering phase with 24 hours of darkness. My timer was still in summer mode, so it was running at night. I adjusted the cycle to match the daytime to ideally utilize the high outside humidity of currently 85-90% throughout the day. Lights on at 6 AM, lights off at 6:15 PM. 30 minutes for sunrise and sunset. Of course, I also have a dehumidifier, which rarely ran because of this. I adjusted the nutrients to a 1:1:1 ratio to slowly reduce nitrogen and bring in potassium instead. I started with Bud Ignitor 1 day before switching to flowering at 2 ml per liter, and Bud Factor X was added as well, Voodoo Juice back in the mix and B-52 out. Additionally, I swapped the 2 TS 1000 for 1 FC E 3000 since it was available. Same power, same LED, but better light distribution. I raised the temperatures to 27 degrees during the day and 24 degrees at night to promote growth. The EC has remained pretty much the same.
