Finally got some videos up (I think)! One shows the canopy, the other gives an idea of the training under the screen. Shes finally showing signs of female and pistils are popping out like crazy. Decided to not tuck the final days of the stretch so the buds won’t start in the screen and start right above it, seems like I’d be easier come harvest time

Not a whole lot going on this week. Did some light trimming and removed the wires. Main stem on all 4 are nice and flat, going to let the girls veg out for a few weeks and just grow up wards. Moved the lights up 16 inches to let them stretch out. I also switched light cycles.. read an article that mentioned a lot of benefits to having 8 hours on and 4 hours off. Specifically I've noticed a lot of benefits ik terms of cooling and environmental control. I havent had to push water bottles into my buckets ar all this week. And it seems to be growing at a normal rate.

Noticed some wind burn 🍃 🔥 on the plant/leaves closest to the fan. Moved it and accidentally hurt the plant again. SCROG-adjustments-woes! UGGGH! Lesson learned... Once scrogged... Tough to readjust! Be extra careful. The red hairs 🌹 are showing up with some already leaning and wilting down. Really excited for them to fruit! 🍓 I am definitely growing at least two phenotypes of TD. One that is meant to be very tall and w very thinned out long leaves -- heavily sativa. And one that is the "more common" pheno. I now understand what this whole pheno-hunting term means. NOOB GROWER THOUGHTS, WEEK 8 -- This grow isn't even done and I am already thinking of my next. I've definitely bought too many seeds. And my grow space is waaay too limited. I will expand once I move to a new place.. and already have a plan for an eternal harvest. More tents 🎪, more seeds 🌱, more everything ... It's official, folks... I'm addicted to growing! And I love it!!! 😎

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. The environment tweaks are on the way, and we’re building them the perfect stage for their bloom performance. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Since I am in DWC and the fertilizers are organic, I take care to add them slowly.. For the moment I don't control the atmosphere, I just have an extractor set at 400m3/h for the 2 lumatek at 75%. I plan to control the atmosphere from the CO2 injection in week 2 or 3 to be seen again. In the meantime I have a few temperature peaks over 28 but they are really specific. I am trying to keep the humidity high enough to have a good VPD. Subí un poco la ec este fin de semana 4 de 0.9 a 1 I turned up the ec a bit this weekend 4 from 0.9 to 1

So now, we are in week 4 (day22) and most of the plants start showing more and more stamps / pistols, I decided to slowly switch my nutrition scheme. From now on I will reduce nitrogen, giving them half the ammunition biogro and to support the their blooming and maintain / elevate ec add biobloom and topmax. The lowest leaves had been taken off, I will see how much they are going to stretch and then decide, where and how many leaves I will take of. Also, depending on the development especially in height I will decide what to do with the lower parts..... Not sure yet Wether to cut them off or keep them. If they stay small I will let em there, if they gain at least 100% in height then I will check Wether it's better to chop them. Another thing I have changed is light intensity. I am using 75% now basically and if weather allows, I go to 100%. I could sit there and watch them grow all day........ Is anyone else fantasizing about growing 100plus strains at a time????

Started week 3 today. Things don't seem to be going as well. The small plant im not too concerned about. It's always had some problems and I've been beating up on that and trying some early defoliation. The larger one has always looked healthy and now it got really dark green, droopy, and some clawing. Went 4 days without watering, no changes, gave it a big flush PH'd to 6.5. No changes. Lifted the light a hair and switched to 20/4. No changes. Any input welcome. A few people have told me it looks fine but it seems like something I'd wrong.

Blue Shark is still super happy, aside from bugs munching on her (I pulled an inchworm off in the video!) so I sprayed with more Neem oil, and I'll be watering in some Big Bloom and Molasses later. These photos are filling out the tomato cages nicely! Sunday- I'm out picking snap please and look down and hey... wait, what?! I have a female cannabis plant growing out of my pea bed using the trellis for support! I laughed so hard. Not only because I didn't plant it but also because I didn't see it before. The thing is it smells just like Blue Shark. I'm wondering if it's the seed that didn't germinate before and I reused the soil. Thing is I put the peas out EARLY. Quite resilient.

White Widow – Week 3 Flower | 12-12 From Seed 🌸❄️ Cycle: 12/12 (sometimes 11/13) from seed Stage: Flowering – Week 3 Feeding: Aptus + Plagron + All-in-One Liquid ⸻ Full Flower Mode Our White Widow has fully embraced her flowering stage. This week marks her third week in flower, and she’s already showing beautiful bud formation from top to bottom. Despite her compact size, she’s filling in evenly and with excellent structure. What really stands out is the early frost. Resin glands are already visible, sparkling under the light. For such a modest-sized plant, her energy is clearly going into dense flowers and resin production, not stretch. She’s showing her true White Widow heritage, compact, resin-heavy, and vigorous. ⸻ Nutritional Strategy This week, her feeding remains consistent with the established recipe: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation – 1 ml/L each But we’ve added something new: • All-in-One Liquid 🌱 This addition is meant to give her a balanced nutrient push during this critical phase. By Week 3, plants are transitioning from bud set into flower bulking, and the All-in-One helps provide extra micronutrients and macros that might not be fully covered by the base mix. The goal is to give her everything she needs for flower development, without overloading her. We’ll be watching closely to see how she reacts, but so far, she’s thriving. ⸻ What’s Happening Now At this stage, we see: • Bud stacking beginning across multiple sites. • Resin production kicking in early, with noticeable frost. • Minimal stretch, as she stays compact and focuses on density. • Healthy leaf expression, still a deep, vibrant green. This week is often called the “foundation of flower.” The plant sets the stage now for how heavy, dense, and resinous the later weeks will be. If nutrition and environment stay on track, we can expect these bud sites to start bulking steadily over the next 2–3 weeks. ⸻ What to Expect (and What Not To) ✅ Expect: • Rapid increase in bud density. • More trichome development, the frost we see now is just the beginning. • Aroma starting to intensify as terpenes begin expressing. ❌ Don’t expect: • Major vertical growth, her stretch is over, and she’ll remain compact. • Early harvest, White Widow typically flowers for at least 8–10 weeks. ⸻ Educational Note – Why Early Frost Matters Trichome production this early is a good indicator of plant health and genetic quality. Resin glands serve as protection for the plant against heat, light, and pests, so seeing frost at Week 3 tells us she’s thriving under the current conditions and that her genetics are naturally resin-heavy. For growers, this means a higher chance of strong aroma, flavor, and potency later on. ⸻ A Quick Recap of the Journey • Germination: Not an easy start — mistakes were made, but this White Widow was the survivor. • Veg: Compact growth under 12/12 from seed, slower to show flowers, but structurally beautiful. • Flowering: Took her time to enter full flower mode, but now she’s moving fast and strong. She’s the perfect example of how patience, careful nutrition, and trust in the genetics pays off. ⸻ Shoutouts & Gratitude 🙏 🌱 Zamnesia – for the legendary White Widow genetics 💧 Aptus Holland – for reliable, precision nutrition 🌸 Plagron – for flower enhancers that push her into full bloom 💡 ThinkGrow & Future of Grow – for the light power and spectrum balance 🧠 TrolMaster – for stable and adaptive control of the grow environment And most of all — thank you to everyone following along this diary. Your time, support, and interest in this journey mean everything. This isn’t just a grow log, it’s a story we’re writing together. ⸻ 📸 This week’s gallery includes: • Close-ups of bud development and trichomes ❄️ • Studio shots highlighting her compact beauty • Room updates with environmental stability Next Week Goals & Forecast 🔮 As we move into Week 4 of flower, here’s what we’ll be watching for: • Bud Bulking – Flowers should begin to thicken, with calyxes swelling and pistils multiplying. • Resin Expansion – Expect a noticeable increase in trichome coverage, making her sparkle even more under the lights. • Aroma Kickoff – White Widow is famous for her pungent, earthy-spicy scent. We should start catching stronger whiffs this week. • Nutritional Balance Check – With All-in-One Liquid added, we’ll be observing closely for any signs of overfeeding or lockout, though so far she’s responding beautifully. • Environmental Consistency – The new AC unit is stabilizing temps and humidity — a perfect setup for flower development. Holding VPD steady will be key. ❌ What we don’t expect yet: • No real ripening signs (amber trichomes or fading leaves) — it’s still too early. • No heavy weight yet — the bulking comes between Weeks 4–7. This next stage is often described as the “early swell” phase. It’s where flowers go from just “forming” into recognizable buds with weight, density, and stickiness. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. I'm very happy to present you a strain that gives me chills just mentioning the name Tical. Zamnesia gave me this incredible surprise, a gift, and it brought me immense joy because I've known Tical since it was the title track on Method Man's album, the leader of Wu-Tang Clan - Shaolin - New York City, of course. I have all the records and could rap many songs from memory despite my poor American English. If you're a hip-hop fan, you know what it means, you know who they were, and you know how I feel right now. That said, Method put the name on some serious weed, they tell me, so let's try it: For now, I've put two that will be worked with different techniques—I think one with repeated toppings and one with a main lining—and then I'll put some to rise straight in a few days so they don't vegetate too much. Among the genetics, we have Zamnesia Apple Fritter, which absolutely drives me crazy (I love the apple flavors), and 24K Gold Fangs by TIcal, which is obviously new to us. All Tical strains, EUROPEAN EXCLUSIVES ON ZAMNESIA: https://www.zamnesia.io/it/35-semi-cannabis/745-tical The last thing I said worries me. Many plants have been overtaking my grow tent lately, so between fimming and the right amount of vegging, this time I have to keep them aligned, especially since I have a new in-line light that doesn't allow me to keep many plants staggered. You'll have to ask the reason for all this mega metabolism that makes us grow into very large plants at ---- www.plagron.com We planted in Bio LightMix soil and use 100% organic fertilizer. For now, we're only using: 1 ml/l Power Roots and 1 ml/l Pure Zym. The girls were born well; the youngest received a 24-hour timelapse video. Welcome to the world, girls! Good luck! OUR NECTAR DRIP TICAL X ZAMNESIA https://www.zamnesia.io/it/14243-zamnesia-seeds-x-tical-nectar-drip.html Zamnesia x Tical Description: Nectar Drip is a unique cannabis hybrid created in collaboration between Zamnesia Seeds and TICAL. These flowers are pure power, with a THC content of up to 26% and effects that stimulate the mind and stabilize the body. But if you want to try them, you'll have to hurry: only 750 packs are available! Considering one of the parent strains is Apple Fritter, you can be sure that Nectar Drip has inherited an explosion of fruity aromas and flavors. Notes of skunk are also detectable, making the profile rich and intriguing. When you smoke this beauty, you'll feel relaxed, with a pleasant cerebral buzz accompanying the experience. It's definitely a great evening smoke, perfect for when you want to take a moment to yourself. You know, you can find so much more at Zamnesia. I invite you to read and delve into the expertly detailed guides, illustrated with photos by me and @dogdoctorofficial. The rest is all the best nature has to offer... truly. www.zamnesia.com

Day 43. Queen is reaching sky, had to move lamp one more time. Margaret is getting fatter, loads of mini colas and buds, really compact version of that strain. Today - plain water, next watering they will get molasses tea. Then plain water and at the end of week - full blast of nutes ! To me it looked like top leaves of Queen getting bleached lightly, think i have just 30 cm left of height, let's hope she will be massive , while staying low ;))) Her structure is very stretch out, a bit too big distance between nodes compared to what i like or would want to see from perfect plant. Day 46. Queen still has obvious light bleach, quantum boards makes your plants hungry for cal mag. Hope it and later silica feed will bring all to normal. Both girls pack like crazy, really fun to observe. Both looks to be not so far from 1g/W ;))) No third needed !!! Hopefully ... ;))) Tomorrow they will get only third feed in theirs life ... Nutes companies would hate me ;))) Day 48. Queen is super sensitive to Mag, second Cap-Mag feed and she burns again ... Will go water, water, silica, water now. Will see how they look after this. Girls still drink fast, there is no lockouts, but rusty spots tells everything. I noticed that this strain don't need big feed, she grows nice when hungry. Happy Growing !
