Welcome to week 5 of my white truffle grow! What an eventful week! After I installed the trellis last week one of the tips of a branch cracked completely. Luckily the crack was in the perfect position, so the plant just topped herself another time 😄 Nevertheless I’m defoliating a lot because of the small size of the box and trying to keep the plant as low as possible. I’m wondering why I’m still not seeing any sign of pre flower yet, but let’s wait and see what’s coming up in week 5.

Gave it a ice water flush and 48 hours of darkness. Then chopped on 10/24.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Talk about a mission accomplished, dam you Lamby… you had me excited at one point when I thought you were an auto, but to my shock, you are a regular, you just have a long ass flowering window… at least unlike her sisters within the 4th cycle, she did not reveg she just focused on flower, the buds are bulky and firm, scent is amazing, you would mistake her for a cheese strain. I should not be disappointed by the plant’s size! Because I planted her during winter, and all outdoor or greenhouse(unless you have a GH that is climate controlled), do not grow as big as the would during spring or summer season, and due to this factor, I only got 59g of wet bud. But I have faith the other ladies will produce a higher yields. Last I smoke this strain was earlier late summer or early Autumn, and from smoking to growing now harvest, I wish I am blown out the water with this strain, it’s time to conduct that questionnaire. Or even better go to an established cannabis club, and get them to samples bud, and ask for a review.

Purple punch is nuts, super frosty. Even some fan leaves are covered with tricomes. I believe I will flush it very soon, maybe in the next watering. Gorilla punch beautiful plant with some purple nugs. They are getting really fat Mimosa cake still getting more and more white pistils and I hopping the nugs get fat 🙏🏼

It rained regularly this week and I was away from home a lot. And forgot to keep them dry with the heavy rain sometimes. So this week they had almost only rain. I gave them 1 time 0.5L tapwater with nutrients each. And less nutrients because I'm scared it will have an impact on the taste

Für mich ist das Therapie und für euch? Ich spiele mit dem Gedanken anstatt Samen zu growen mir einfach eine Mutterpflanze Anschaffe um mir meine Stecklinge zu ziehen ! Dafür brauch ich aber noch ein anderes Zelt und eine Lampe. Die Mütterpflanze kann dann erst mal wachsen und ich kann nebenbei noch mal ein Durchgang mit Autos schaffen bevor die Steckis fertig sind. Wenn es soweit ist gebe ich euch bescheid wenn ich Samen und Setup bei mir stehen. So jetzt aufs eigentliche zurück. Ich habe heute erst mal mein Setup geprüft und so gut wie möglich desinfiziert. Es ist verdammt wichtig das nach jedem Durchgang sauber gemacht wird also zb Zeltwände, Boden, Topfe, Boxen, Wasserbehälter. Habe ich gemacht und habe meine ersten Samen in Anzucht Erde gesetzt, befeuchtet, markieren und in die Box. Wände und Deckel mit zersteuber befeuchten und ab unter die Lampe. WICHTIG MACH DIE ERDE NICHT SO NASS ! DAS GEFÄLLT IHNEN NICHT SONDERN HALTE SIE AM BESTEN FEUCHT IN DEM DU ABEND / MORGEN EIN BISCHEN WÄSSERST! ICH STELLE DIE LAMPE AUF CA 40 cm zum Boden ein bzw der Box. Ein gewisser abstand muss sein um die Fläche komplett zu Beleuchten. Da meine Lampe dimmbar ist muss sie nicht ganz oben hängeng sondern Kann näher an die Pflanzen ran und Stelle den Dimmer auf 20 %. Das reicht anfangs in dem Stadium völlig aus, muss aber dann später angepasst bzw hoch geschraubt werden! Lüfter I läuft 24/7 und sorgt für optimale Bedinungen! WICHTIG LAMPE 20/4 HELL/DUNKEL (REGLER STEHT AUF 20 % LICHTLEISTUNG) DANN HABEN WIR ES EIGENTLICH SCHON GESCHAFFT UND ALLES RICHTIG GEMACHT! Ich versuche schon so viel wie möglich von meiem Wissen an euch weiter zugeben bzw auf Papier zubringen, ist aber NICHT IMMER ZU 100% Möglich, da es einfach zu viele Informationen sind ! Bei fragen einfach fragen und die Comiunity hilft sicher !!! KOMMT ZEIT KOMMT RAT ... ich hab 2 Monate Infos eingeholt und Produkte verglichen ! The bottom watering worked for the week I think as away happy with results think I might just bottom water regularly and feed the tea from top every other changing 2/8 I did a good clean up and some pining Monday 2/10 I will filp to flower I also added power bloom today 2/8

yeh, forgot to add the new week the other day. Oh well. Didn't miss much of anything. Timelapse for the last week starts us off here, as usual will update as the week goes on if anything notable happens. -3/14/2021 - Been slacking off on progress updates and pictures. However, progress has been damn good. Recovery from topping is over and the plants have adjusted to the new pot sizes.

I dried 6 days small buds and 9 days for big buds. I gained an unexpected 37 grams. 😊
