Flowering day 76 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. Havested about 90 days after seed posed. She is a kind of giant: about 1.8 Kg of buds and branches from only one plant. The buds seems a little bit dry. I hope this will be not a problem after cure.

Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.

Watering only every 3 days or so has become the norm. I am very curious to see how this strain will turn out!

Hey all! 👋 This week is when most of my plants deficiencies started to show, specially on Matcha 😢so to try to fix this problem I decided to use Revive from Advanced Nutrients on both plants (there were some slight indications that Pistachio might be suffering from some of these issues as well) and since last time it worked amazingly well I just decided to do it... and it seems it did its magic! The changes started to become more obvious near the end of the week when finally Matcha started to grow, so I'm happy! Also, since Pistachio is growing well I decided to do some LST on her as well and she took it without problems 😍 I also believe this issue is a mix of nitrogen deficiency and magnesium (mostly this) and I suppose that's because of the heat that's inside the tent and because I'm feeding my plants with bottled water (different brand) that's probably low on that mineral. In my previous grow I used to add tap water to the mix but the water where I used to live was better so I fear that I might end doing more harm than good if I use this water to feed the plants 😵if the issues continues tho I'll get a bottle of Cal Mag and see if things improve. Everything is looking good at the moment. Our Zamnesia autoflowers have been on their journey through the magical flowering period for a while now, this is the second week of flowering considering that autoflowers still flower spontaneously some sooner than others but all around the 3rd-4th week. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already somewhat visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both of them possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified) --- This strain has really intrigued us for a feature that we love around here: the plant could turn black in the last weeks of flowering. And I'm taking the saints of all religions to make it happen because I have a new set of macro lenses and I would like to show you something between space and heaven passing through the inside of a black hole. The plant is growing very well, healthy, green leaves no signs of deficiency or excess, great work Plagron! Until last week the lateral buds were practically aligned with the main cola now a tower is starting from the center that will be a miracle of nature. Sobre el riego decir que puede variar la dosis de alguno de ellos según la EC , priorizo antes la EC que las dosis y en alguna ocasión pueden ser más ml/L de lo que digo. Con 33 dias me dió por recortar algunas pocas hojas y así ganasen un poco más de luz algunos cogollos bajos que habian quedado en la sombra. Entre quitar hojas o dejarlas obté por hacer esto xd

Well Hello there…. And welcome back to me trying to do organic grow stuff and learning through trial and error lol but anyway nothing going on really she is a bit yellow and I believe it is due to overwatering I believe I am locking out oxygen which is causing this issue so I changed to drip watering on Monday Wednesday and Friday in the am before the lights kick on we will see if that fixes the issue but I am willing to bet it will lol. Also enjoy the nice time lapse of a week of growth in a cool 50 secs love y’all have a great day!

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue!
