A great week of growth and development. Did a small defoliation, and clean of the tent. The girls are very leafy, and some of that needed to go to increase air flow and prevent issues from developing. Love this time of growing as there is not much to do, but watch the buds stack! We started the week by transplanting the Orange Groovy F1 into the 3.6L pots filled with our SWA super-soil: we waited a bit more compared to the first 8 transplants just to make sure the roots were strong enough. At the same time we realized that the Orange Groovy F2 was the first plant ready for topping. This week we continued using our Lumatek dimming it at 60%. We are watering them with 1L divided by all 9 of them of osmosis water. On days 16 and 17 we topped every plant (except for Golden Pussies which still need a couple days and the Orange groovy F1 which we will not top because of her smaller size). We noticed that most of our plants presented lightly yellowed tips. We think that this is due to the deficiency of some immobile elements such as Ca, Fe, S. To solve this problem, we will put some decanted water (because it doesn't contain Chlorine which kills our bacterial substrate life) to give them the correct nutrients. We failed topping Orange Groovy F2 because the central apical started to grow even after cutting it but we kept it just to see what is going to happen. Golden Pussy F2 has been topped too and it went perfectly as you can see in the pictures. The plants continue to grow out of all proportion!

Defoliated some of the bigger fan leaves, I know it may be risky technique but since she has grown into the tent, space is tight and in order to maximise flower sites, I decided to remove some foliage to get better coverage. Flowering is taking off and have decided to increase the dosage of the nutrients to see if she can handle the feeding, she has grown quickly in the last couple of days and want to see if I can push her to the maximum. Healthy and happy plants, no more issues with spidermites (Thank goodness!), no more needing to treat a flowering plant (if I had to, I would drench the plant in a mixture of H202, liquid dishwashing detergent and water to ensure that buds are not covered with nasty chemicals). Clones have been taken and in this pic, can be seen that it has rooted, clones were taken off during defoliation session during 2nd week of flower.

Day 106 12/25/2021 being of a new week and this will be more than likely the last week this lady gets any nutrients thinking Wednesday. After that will start flush with collected rain water. After checking trichomes they were about 85% cloudy about 10% clear and 5% amber which is right where she should be since the end is coming fast. Day 110 12/29/2021- Started flush today and will continue to just feed rain water until next Wednesday. Will cut her down next Friday 01/07/2022.

Weeks 6,7 did not have any pictures, so i decided to jumpo to pre-flower time. It is the 8th week and i performed a full defoliation and have all the botton flower with full power pistil, the firs trichomes started to appear on January 4th WATERING 14º FERT/ 0.7L (JANUARY 04) DAYS OF LIVE - 58

It seems like the stems have stopped growing and it’s in full flowering phase.

UPDATE - Thurs 4th March The week has been fine. I am going there today so you may get an update this evening. Iv been posting on TheWeedTube also so I have much more videos explaining what’s going on. Plants are looking great. I got paid today so I bought an online fan to plug into the thermostat and pull fresh air in through a duct from a cooler part of the flat. In summer it won’t be as useful but to be honest I’ll probably just duct tape the sucky end of the duct to a small ac or Friday type thing, iv not really looked into it yet. Even a hillbilly cooking system would be better than nothing. ( filling a bucket up with ice, water and salt and put the end of the duct into that so it sucks in the cold air). We’ll see! Update - Monday 8th March All is well, I just want the buds to start swelling now. I found some awesome supports in Aldi. They are metal rings that the plant weaves through and has spikes that go into the pot rather than a scrog net being fixed in place. Therefore I can still move them and drain the run off.

Well this colourful popcorn queen will be ready to take down in a couple of days. She won’t be a big yielder but what she will lack in yield she seems to make up for in smell and trichomes. The smell she gives off is a sweet orange smell 🍊🍭. I can wait to sample her after she has cured for a couple weeks. 😎
