Everything is done now though! These 2 plants ended up verrrrry different. One smells sweet and gassy and fresh, and the other smells extremely savoury, almost like chicken ramen. Trimming only took a couple days, and I’m really happy with the result! The smoking experience is very pleasant. The nugs are sooooo sticky that I need to prepare my roaches and papers before I touch the flower otherwise my fingers will be too sticky. An amazing dilemma!

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

This week will be the last of the 18 hours of light. When the little ones have settled in on the increased light intensity. If the cycle is changed to 12/12 and then the wattage of the lamp is turned to its maximum of 300 watts. Gradually, of course. More on that later. I hope they will show their gender during the week that the bloom can be initiated. Day 67: It is time for the first flowering phase. Plant 1 shows the first characteristics of the flower or rather it becomes sexually mature. If the others follow suit this week, it is the last week of growth. Instead of cutting out the big leaves, I spread them out under the net. In this way, the light also reaches the lower shoots without stressing the plants during sexual maturity. We don't want to provoke misfortune. Day 70: 10 weeks of Vegetation. I think it's time for Bloom.

12/15: Plant is looking real good, the roots are soaking with water and air, increased to the normal nutrient schedule, and have been adding ph down every day to keep it under 6.5. I also just lowered the light about a few inches, the taller bud sites were about 20 inches, I wanted to lower ones to get more light... the leaves haven't had any effect, the other bud sites seem to be thrivingg now. 12/17: water level down about 1/4 inch. Everything looks ok.

Seeing some mixed coloration on the leaves, not sure what that's about specifically yet. But going to let her keep growing to see if she grows out of it. If anyone on GD has other suggestions feel free to let me know what's going on. Water only mainly so far, but gave a little Recharge this weekend too.

Leaf tucking wasn't doing much, far too bushy so I started just to let it go. Cut some lowers after the pic was taken.

New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

Auto Banana Kush is growing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She was a pain to get started, but is off and running now. I did have a minor ph swing but I corrected it over last day or two. She got her first lst today, and her root tips pruned. The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. Great growth and more LST The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. Adjusting the extraction fan Auto settings The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come.

Stretched vigorously once she started to transition to flower. Developed potency early in flower! She was LST'd weekly, starting week 2. She was also gently lolipopped a few times, to maintain growth towards 5-6 nodes only.

This girl is coming along really nicely starting to see a bit more too her now. I have up'd the big bud nutrients this week so hopefully it "puts the big in your buds" increasing both their size and quality! It has been about 2 weeks now since I nearly snapped a branch clean off. I strapped and propped the snapped branch to the main stem as soon as it happen but when I check it the next day it had slipped I did worry as I wasn't sure how long it had been apart but I re-strapped it and hoped for the best. So far the branch still looks healthy and I haven't noticed any issues with it at all. The branch looks as if it is healing really well so hopefully she pulls through. Happy growing 🌱

What a run!!!! my first grow was a massive success a wet weight of 3696 Grams. 16 colas in total from the V-8 manifolding technique i used on my two ladies. The average weight wet of each cola was 81.2 grams! I have this haul back in my tent ⛺. Excellent air flow not directly at the buds. I have the humidity at 50%. I expect a 10 to 12 day drying period with a 3 week minimum cure. I am taking a short break and starting a new crop of 4. Will be switching to either dwc or autopots. Have sour jack from crop king seeds still looking for an Indica. Will be running two sativa two indica under my twin TSL 2000.
