Recordar que este diario está enfocado solo en 4 babys, macetas de 11Litros 3xGlueberry OG Auto de DutchPassion y 1xLSD-25 de FastBuds, muy buenas genéticas de muy buenos bancos que esperamos potenciar en cosecha con tecnicas de Bajo estrés incluyendo el mallado SCROG, y ya en etapa avanzada de crecimiento una tecnica de Alto estrés conocida como popping (poda de bajos) además de un casi completo programa de fertilización, contando con los nutrientes básicos de vegetacion y floracion (top veg y top bloom) y para las primeras semanas ya en uso un enraizante (Top underground) y otros productos para terminar la floración de la mejor manera posible. this should be the last week of vegetation. Flowering should be starting soon. Seems like no end to this drought we are suffering from in Southern Ontario.

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. Pineapple Kush is a monster, she has almost 20 big branches, every single branch is big as an indoor plant. I've growth 30 strains in my life but I never seen a plant with a such LTS attitude. You bend her, she responds quickly, you bend her again? She responds faster. Little bit late on flowering.

The heat and rain for the last 3 weeks really hurt her size, but she’s budding up really nice where she can. This is such a beautiful plant and it smells delicious. I can’t wait to try

July 13: first heat wave of the year was last week, and there is another forecast for next week, but for now this is pretty ideal cannabis weather. Added a third Scrog layer and tied it off to some weights (partly filled water bottles) to open up the canopy further. Works, simple, and easy to move around the yard as needed. I really like this plant and how it’s going so far. July 14: re-scrogged again to widen the canopy further. Supercropped the ends to maintain the same elevation at the various growth tips. Four stems in middle were topped to keep them from getting ahead of the others. Experimenting to see how it goes. July 16: hot again. Increased water volume and sometimes misting air with garden hose water for the evaporative cooling. She looks great. July 17: another 32 C day. Watered four times today so likely 7-8 L in the heat with the growing plant. July 18: hot again. Mixed Power Bloom and malted Barley with some soil and added as a top dressing.Hit 34 C and 20% relative humidity which is far too hot and dry for cannabis. Lots of watering, and misting of leaves and air to provide some moisture and cooler temperatures.

Another week of epic growth: the Haze sisters put on 20cm, and their myriad buds grew considerably, though I worry that I have allowed far too many buds to form - each plant has several dozen, which I suspect may stunt their growth?

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Day 3-4 I lost a main stem on GR1 and broke another stem but it will recover.. GR2 all stems are fine Day 6 - light LST on main nodes....very long stems and internodal spacing.

03/03/2022 Down to one Lemon OG, one Biscotti Skunk, and three Grape Skunk all looking super vigorous including Lemon OG . Very happy with the genetics so far trimmed up the legs a bit lots of potential clones! Ps. Forgot picture of Biscotti Skunk it's lights out so that will get done tomorrow.

Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. So, day 65 of the 🔅Root66 auto project🔅 and this is the last update before harvest: ❎- GSC (2) are the only plants that didn't make it so we didn't defol --> 15-20 days late. Strong plants, high ppm feeding --> no probs at all.[Same phenos]. ☑️- Cream mandarine xl (4) more than a week (10 days) before maturity. Besides that CMxl is a great yielder, tall plant with light brunches. Average ppm needed. ✅- Jack 47 (4) 5 days before maturity but that's enough for these Jacks to pass the test. Smell is unique (pineapple), no stress probs, really dwarf plants.[Same phenos]. ✅- Gorilla Glue (2) pass the test and ready for harvest. Not what I really expected, average yield,growth etc. ✅- Fast berry (3) pass the 66 project. We had 2 phenos (2 green and 1 purple), beautiful plants with great aromas. Nitrogen issues, don't overfeed. ✅- Crystal Meth (3) pass the test from day 60🤯, 2 phenos. We experimented with these. The green one (with a little purple inside) had a topping and is already mature one week before the end of the project, purple #1 just defol and purple #2 supercroping. A really fast strain, good yield n hungry.
