Journal de culture – Semaine 4 de croissance (fin) Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfait de la plante, que je trouve faiblarde et manquant de vitalité. Son développement est lent, et je suspecte que la température, qui descend peut-être trop bas la nuit, pourrait en être la cause. Cependant, même le pied-mère de cette variété n’a pas une croissance exceptionnelle, ce qui me fait penser que le phénotype de cette variété n’est peut-être pas très bon. Pour ne pas perdre trop de temps, j’ai décidé de la passer en floraison aujourd’hui, avec un cycle de lumière 12-12. J’ai également changé la soupe et préparé 20 litres avec les nutriments nécessaires à la floraison. Sachant que cette variété a tendance à beaucoup stretcher, j’ai pratiqué du LST (Low Stress Training) pour recourber les sommités. Cependant, j’ai accidentellement cassé un apex, laissant seulement trois apex au lieu de quatre. Bien que je ne sois pas satisfait de cette plante ni du pied-mère, je vais finaliser cette culture et passer à une autre variété ensuite. 🇺🇸Cultivation Journal – Week 4 of Vegetative Growth (End) I’m really not satisfied with the plant; it seems weak and lacks vitality. Its development is quite slow, and I suspect the nighttime temperatures might be dropping too low. However, even the mother plant of this strain doesn’t show great growth, so I’m thinking the phenotype might not be very good. To avoid wasting more time, I’ve decided to switch it to flowering today, setting the light cycle to 12-12. I also replaced the nutrient solution, preparing 20 liters with the ingredients required for flowering. Knowing this strain stretches a lot, I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to bend the tops. Unfortunately, I broke one of the four apexes, so now there are only three left. Even though I’m not happy with this plant or the mother plant, I’ll finish this grow and move on to another strain afterward.

*Week 5 Flower 09/24* Thus far both both plants are flowering and budding nicely, Trichomes are setting in accordingly, Increase in Phosphate and Potassium nute feeds. Both plants have appeared to stop growing in height settling in at 48Inches. Another really wet week The small one on the front right is not in a good shape I tried to add more water and to let it dry more but she didn't change The buds at in the center of the tent are growing crazy It does not smell too much (and I have allergies haha)

Smell got more intensive and Ladies are more thirsty At day 8 of flowering we thought the plants are a bit too small so we gave them more space to the LED, about 70cm with 200watts Also they got 4ml/l of bioheaven

Blueberry Headband as well as the OJ have been looking a little peaked the last two weeks. Red hairs appearing. Growth slowing. Even starting to affect the Cheese. Raised the light from 12” to 24 and turned it down a bit. Also, pulled the plants out and leached them. Been a while and it is needed, I think. Should see an explosion of good growth 2-4 days from now. Flushing always creates a flurry of good stuff! (Days 28-35) (Day 29) Everything seems to have recovered fine from topping so I transplanted into their 1.7 gallon pots. They were pretty rootbound so this should make them nice and happy. Going to start LST after recovery. Got a ton of holes poked around the rim of the bucket which should make tying down easier. I’ve been asking around on some forums and reading some articles and I’ve decided to switch out my MH bulb for the included HPS bulb. Apparently HPS bulbs will stretch the nodes out quite a bit more and provide higher PAR value for the same amount of electricity. My plants are looking pretty small for day 29. Although, that could just be from stuffing 15 plants under one 250-400w light. I’ve been powering the lights up to 400w at night and back down to 250 during the day. 400 just gets it too hot during the day (86-88) without ventilation. That temperature should be fine in veg once my co2 has really built up some mycelium. (Day 32) Just got 14/15 topped. The BCTG runt is just going to be lst’d and not topped or fimmed. I decided to just fim the plants I started later so they’d have a bit more time to recover and catch up to the others. I also LST’d all 9 quite well. Almost had a stem break but she’s doing just fine now. The deformed bbb was accidentally fimmed and as a result it’s got a very trippy looking main stem that has branched off into 6 mains. I definitely have fungus gnats. Fuckers must have got in with that coco I bought from hydro store. This has never happened to me with just promix but the benefits of coco are too much to pass up. I might order an OG BioWar/capsbennies/grubgrenade to help naturally get rid of them. I’m getting some confirmed yellowing on bottoms of the zkittlez and WW’s. They must be heavy feeders because no other plant in the tent is getting yellow like that. I’m going to feed a compost tea, top dress everything at full strength and mulch in some worm castings to help break it down faster. Will also do a foliar spray with some insect frass, microbes and m1pps. (Day 33) Got some more of that marine phytoplankton stuff to help stabilize my RO water. It’s got a good amount of soluble magnesium and trade minerals in it so that should help stop the yellowing on the zkittlez and WW. (Day 34) Things are looking great so far and they’re all recovered from topping/transplant/lst and thriving. Some slight yellowing and a few of the plants are cupping from heat and high humidity. I just put in a dehumidifier to help bring the rh down. The m39/zkittlez bagseed plant is just outpacing everything in the tent by 4-6 days. No wonder organized crime used to grow it. I hear it can completely flower in 45 days with a solid yield and very little trimming or leaf matter. It’s very weak on the high and smell though. Nonetheless it should be nostalgic to try those old terps. There is still a small chance that it’s a super vigorous zkittlez plant too. Plants should be showing sex this coming week. Hoping for 8+ fems but I can make do with just 4. 1-3 is unlikely but that would piss me off beyond belief. I’ve heard of it happening though.

6/13: I harvested both plants today. I did a cursory wet-trim and washed their buds, and then hung them to dry. I'm guessing the ugly one will weigh in at about 80g, and the smaller, pretty one, will weigh in at about 65-70g. The plants ended up being the biggest in my garden, but were a little slower than some of the other strains to get into flower. The buds never swelled up very big, but they're very dense and smell wonderful. The aromas really bring back memories from the last time I grew NL back in the early 90's. Looking forward to giving it a try!👍 I'll update in another week or so with the smoke report and my final thoughts.. 9/16: Initially, it had not much smell or flavor, but after leaving it alone for a few months, it improved quite a bit. Still not my favorite, but very good bud all the same. Plant A: 83g Plant B: 75g Potency: 6/10 Yield: 6/10 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 7/10 Density: 8/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Tolerance to abuse: 9/10

Some leaf tip burn, either lights or nutes. Measured TDS@900 and moved the lights away a few cm.

Girls are stacking nicely ❤️ The one is a bit more finicky than the rest, she is showing signs of nutrient lockout/ ph , but should be easily corrected if I’ve diagnosed it properly. I ended up calibrating by ph pen and I was off by .15 on the scale, might not seem like a lot, but in flower it can be! Shouldn’t set us back too much 🇨🇦👊❤️

Ok they're strong for real! One is still untouched (the guarantee one) One is all good after the 2º topping (risking it, to autos just the 1º topping is good already, don't waste time, but I'm learning so fuck that) One I moved a little late to a 5L vase, did one topping too, just the 1º to see how she reacts, all good for now. The other must be pissed off hahahah because I'm learning LST and she is my training, I wanna see how she behave with different positions but all good for now. See you guys next week, wish me luck!

We got some drizzles this week and some cloudiness, but her southern facing aspect, helped her out with getting some nice sunlight despite the fact. Temperature still dropping as to be expected so I didn't have to water more than once. The buds are swelling and frosting up quick.
