Germination took 5 days until the plants popped

This grow was full of great smells, tastes, and beautiful looking buds with a harvest time of only 10 weeks. Yeah, I would have liked the buds to have came out more dense in some locations, however with such a short life cycle and exotic visuals this strain offers its a good compromise. I was surprised this strain did so well while in hydroponics given its sensitivity to nutrients, but I think the fast earlier growth DWC offers allowed it to sustain. I'm looking forward to doing this strain again with a better nitrogen scheduling and using Great White Mycorrhizae from the start to see how dense we can get these buds. These are the type of buds you can't find in a dispensary anywhere and if your lucky enough to you will be paying top dollar to walk out with them. I installed a drip system, which I will use if necessary. It's a new year ahead, so a drip system is needed 😁 We are finishing the last week of vegetation.

9/29/2024 The plant is looking extremely healthy! There are tons of flower sights and they are starting to bulk up with nice frost development as well. Daytime air temps and humidity are slightly higher than I would prefer, but working to control it the best I can. Lights are currently at 90%, planning to increase to 95% in the next few days. Stretching looks to have stopped or slowed to a crawl at this point. I am continuing to defoliate large fan leaves and any areas of overgrowth/overlapping of leaves to open up the canopy and promote airflow. 10/1/2024 Raised light directly over the plant about an inch. Starting to put some thought into support as the branches are already putting on some weight and swaying from the fans. Have some 4-foot wooden dowels on standby and plenty of bunchers twine. Small issue with roots in the drain line causing the water level in the bucket to rise. Removed the roots and the issue was resolved. Working to maintain 800-900 PPM in the reservoir. 10/5/2025 Overall pretty stress-free week. Continued to add pH-adjusted water only to maintain 800-900 PPM when needed. Still defoliating a few leaves per day to continue to open things up throughout the canopy. Flowers are developing nicely and the frost is everywhere. The smell in the tent is wonderful and quite pungent! Arm hair is getting sticky from reaching in to grab leaves!

First attempt at defoliating today to expose additional bud sites. I’ve seen mixed thoughts on the topic, and in the spirit of trying things out I pulled the trigger. I anticipate a bit of stunting in the short term, but hoping for increased bud density down the line. Increasing dark time in hopes of increased florine, or whatever the flowering hormone is. Again, trying things out. She’s looking great though.

Custom DIY camper grow!

Late post for the week my bad been a bit lazy. But these things are going nuts. I think theyre done stretching. There's alot more swelling and the stench is pungent. My air purifier was masking the smell. The small one has a lime, deisel, cat piss smell and the other one is kinda like a peppermint catpissy smell. Its hard to describe. I've raised my light to the top of the tent and have started using Cal mag as well due to the yellowing in the center of the canopy. Im pretty sure its caused by either bleaching from the light or heat so im hoping the use of cal mag will help strengthen. I've also added 2 fans to attempt to drop humidity and cool things down. Its not really working but trial and error. Ill try to be on time next week. 🤙🤙

Song of the week : The Beatnuts - Watch Out Now ------- Day 33 - Recovered nice from last week topping , she's pushing secondary stems 🌱. I tried a supercroping so let's see how she react. Still watered with tap water , the pre-fertilized soil provide enough nutrients until her next and final transplant to a 15L pot.

Week 6 flower. Not much to report with this one. Growing very slow, little buds, smell musky and not very nice but improving, very frosty and getting frostier. Watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Day 36 flower I turned off Blumat drip and will water with the watering wand from here on out. Just another potential runaway dripper so I eliminated the risk. I will just build another reliable system with a timer and use the Blumat outside. Thanks for the view! Have a great week!

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

My Strawberry Gorilla Automatic from Fast Buds is now in its third week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with how she’s progressing. The stretch phase is nearly over, and she has developed a solid structure with a well-defined main cola.🌱 One of the most exciting changes this week is the first appearance of trichomes on the main bud. Under the light, they’re starting to sparkle, hinting at the resin production that’s about to take off. The buds are forming nicely, and I can already smell a faint but promising aroma developing. So far, she’s responding well to the nutrients and environment, with no signs of deficiencies or stress. If she keeps going at this pace, she’s going to be a real beast by harvest time.😊
