Day 18: The canopy is developping nice and evenly. I wonder how much mire they will stretch. I think that ill do some defoliation at the beginning of week 4 Day 20: Today I did a big defoliation right before the third flowering week ends. It was a tough job reaching all the leaves in the back because I cant move the plants.😅 But we made it! Now the light can reach much further down the plants for better/bigger buds and better aeration.

I started the week by flushing the plants. It was time. The oldest two plants have two weeks max. The run off started at 1900ppm and went down to 400ppm. By that time I had pumped about 60 litres through the four of them. The tap water is already 300ppm, so this is a good level I think. The leaves are responding. I can see the nutrients being drawn out of them. They are withdrawing. I am also looking at trichomes daily now. The mature plants are 1/3 clear, 2/3 cloudy, with a few amber. The younger plants are 2/3 clear, 1/3 cloudy, with no amber. I couldn’t wait any longer. I cropped and chopped 3 buds from under the canopy and dried them slowly on a metal plate over boiling water. It took 1/2 hour, but it produced a nicely dried pile of smelly weed. If I lost any potency in the process we didn’t notice. We got really really stoned. If this sample is any indication, I think it will easily be my best grow yet in terms of potency. Now I’m curious about the weight.

Hi growmies, unfortunately I skipped a day checking on the reservoir and the plant must have consumed a lot more water than expected, probably due to the heat we are experiencing where I live, since I realized tip burn getting worse everywhere I checked the ec, which was close to 3 😳, topped up with RO water right away and this seems to have stopped it. Other than that I don’t think it bothered the plant too much either, as she keeps on swelling bigger and bigger. A&B fertilizer was reduced already and once, either next week or the one after I’ll start flushing, depending on the stage of ripening.

These were all pretty Uniform in height and weight even with #3 being replanted 2 weeks in, lots of Haze smell diesel and pungent on the front end and some sweet at the tail, I should of let these go a few more weeks I think it would be better. I have read and have heard that the flowering time the breeders recommend is based on a 1000w set up. and light plays an important roll in yield as far as flowering goes Its all about time. and maybe next time I will grow these to a more perfect pant. but this round as a grower I give myself a 6 out of 10 got some buds to some and turned the trim and larf to hash, not a huge return and the Trichomes were mainly in the 25 micron range with a minimal amount in the 76 micron bag. so My thinking is that these were all small and under developed trichomes, this leans into my theory that they could have gone another 3 or for weeks, Failure has been my greatest teacher and I really enjoy this hobby. Next grow will be an Organic Dry Amendment Auto Flower with new lights no more Blurple import lights. I got my 1st vaccine shot. hope you all are staying safe and lifted. Alls been good flushed 2 plants and chopped them also got new feed so letting 1 go a bit longer think I'm seeing a resin gland appearing on a bud but not sure yet,I'll let use know the overall weight at the end

Day 32: Had been using lst to get the canopy on an even level. That caused it to get pretty wide for a 2x2 tent. Started training it to grow up now since it can not get any wider. ***Update: Got a bigger tent, 4x2, doesn’t help with how wide it’s getting, but allows for a lot more room vertically, about another 1.5 feet. Also upgraded the lights and it responded rather quickly. It’s filling out and I trimmed some large lower fans leaves a couple more times to allow for air flow and new bud sites to get better light.

I don't know what else to say. It was fun and hopefully the cheese was my fault and not the genetics of ilgm. But hell we will see. This my be my first journal but definitely not my last. Peace
