Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Harvested. This is the way I'm doing most harvests now.. As you can't rate a pheno on just its apparence I feel. So from now on, smoke review will be all done and rated on the same to make it fair. As after an hour of harvest you can't change the ratings, and how can you tell how strong a strain is until you try it. 112days total under the light. I Added up the cost of this light running. Worked out at 177euro, now the 1st 50days was only ran under a 100w. I've already gotten 150g from 2 plants, and expecting another 250ish so 177euro +/- 5euro for 400ish grams of some of the best bud I've got so far, is more than a deal for me. As in my country it's 150euro for 14grams of good weed, so 400g, well, not so hard to do the math. Even if I got just 150 I'd just be as happy with that. I'm 4 days in. Keeping RH between 58-61%, have the dehumidifier set in the dry room. Temperature ranges from 20-22c. Mostly stays at 21c. Was able to take a HST'ed cola, removing it was no stress as the stress was already done when it HST'ed itself. It's 18g after 4 days of drying. The bud is so so dense, definitely hitting A grade appreance, let's see if we get A grade taste/stone results. This was 1 of the mid range colas, there is much bigger but I won't be removing them, but if this is anything to go by, I should get 100ish grams when its dry of some of the biggest buds I've seen in a while. The smell has got more pungent, but it 100% needs a cure. No hay/grassey smell as of yet, (this comes from been dried wrong, either 2 fast with 2 humid conditions, too hot, or your environment is jumping all over the place. I've been able to get rid of most of it as it goes after a week or 2 from the cure but there's 2 plants that still have a some what hay smell. But it's going. Was given her last heavy watering last week and then was given 1L of Terra Powers finisher and I let the soil get dry under the light, and when I felt it was dry but not hitting the stress factor in the substrate I put into dark rest, (soil will stop drying out, as photosynthesis has stopped), dark rested 48hrs, uprooted, and hung whole. Day 49 - Have been having a bit of a high humidity problem in the tent but will be getting a new dehumidifier soon to keep that under control but over all these ladies are growing beautifully & seem to be very healthy! I am extremely impressed at how well they are doing with little to no nutrients, the buds are starting to get thicker & put on some frost! This was a sad little plant, if only the fucking birds did not eat the original plant. They are so bloody annoying. Over all plant did ok, just the runt size is a massive let down. Will just dry this and give it to a friend to smoke. Day 23 of Veg: after watching the video I fully soaked my fabric pot for the first time too little to no run off. Since I am running organic I want to make sure not to lose those precious nutes. I had to place a space heater because the cold kinda snuck up on myself. With adjustment to the lights output the tent was at a cooler temp. So I had to substitute with a oscillation heater. So right now 59% humidity and 78 degree temp is set in the tent with 300ppfd. 2 oscillating fans and a 6 in exhaust fan. The LST on the 2 plants recovered great so far and adjusting the temp and light has shown a more deeper green the base of the main trunk is pretty solid. Thicker than my first grow for sure. I feel I was able to get the LST on the main trunk almost to a 90 to get that even canopy. Day-24 New A/C infinity controller and fan installed, removed some components in the tent to clean it up. Wiped down the floor. The sock had so much dust in the filter from not having an air filter on the inlet. It’s crazy how much dust can be in a tent. The controller is set and seems so seem less. Tested ppfd again sitting right 310. Day 25 New A/C infinity setup is working like a champ. So impressed. No watering today the medium is still moist to the touch. The LST has really stretched the bud sites out. My only other grow being Girl Scout cookies and Northern Lights the plants were a lot taller or maybe I just LST them later in their grow cycle. Also could’ve been the strain. Feeling good about this grow. Hopefully the timed amendments get me to the end. I am 90% positive I am suppose to feed and top dress 30 days into flower. Day 26LST again today. I feel like this strain is short and bush and I am LSTing them too much. The plants are green and I hooked them up with 6.4ph water.

1/6/2020 - What a week! She is finally flowering for real and so I changed her nutrient schedule to "Early Bloom". Increasing FloraMicro and FloraBloom while decreasing FloraGro and adding Liquid KoolBloom. Despite their difference in height, they are the same distance from the light due to the awkward mounting of these lights on the ceiling of this tent. Currently sitting ~40cm from the light. This should allow room for the buds to grow up towards the light and benefit from the increased umols around 30cm. I also took the opportunity to remove select foliage that was more than 90cm from the light, mostly removing growth-tips and leaving the leaves to their transpiration duties. I still feel like they are crowding each other, but they do seem quite happy nonetheless. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Grower Love. ~Spaz

I will say I stressed out this darling pretty bad in the beginning of veg. Sadly my furnace went out for two weeks while I was trying to veg her and so she wasn't as big as I intended before I had to put her in the flowering tent just cuz it was much warmer. So I don't have as much I intended when I popped that bean. But I'm glad that at least she didn't die on me and I didn't get anything at all. Getting more of these beans when I make my next order for sure and I'll do right by those girls lol. I loved the structure of the plant though she had very tight internodes with nice beautiful buds

Cutting this plant down around day 67/68. Starting to let the plant dry back every other day. I’ve had to lower the light intensity the last few weeks of flower because of temperatures but it still looks pretty good!
