I harvested when go began to see some amber trichomes, the plant grew very well, the maturation of trichomes was quite slow. The buds are nice and full bodied and the scent is very sweet and pleasant, reminiscent of gesolmino and strawberry bubblegum.

I think it's nearly time for flush. I have added a fan in there to reduce humidity levels. Everything is blooming as fattening up really well. Can't wait!

So far these plants have shown nothing but resilience and a will to grow I have put quite a bit of effort in but I’m sure I’m lacking in one or two spots but you would never be able to tell by the Look at the plants they seem quite happy and they are relatively patient with a new grower lol

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/7- Here we go with the new addition to the FastBuds family, Papaya Sherbert fem photo. I placed one seed in a glass of lukewarm tap water (non-chlorinated well water). Within 24hrs there was a root beginning to show coming out of the seed. I then placed the seed between two moistened paper towels that I then put in a vented plastic container. I put the container in a dresser drawer where it would be warm and dark. 5/9- When I checked on the seed yesterday, there was a substantial root about 1/2" long coming from the seed. I then planted the seed, root first with just the seed head exposed, in a 2" starter pot filled with peat that I pre-moistened with 6.5ph well water. I placed the starter pot in the bottom of a Solo Cup that I had cut in half. I then placed a clear Solo Cup over it to act as a humidome and placed it under the lights in the grow room. Today the little Papaya Sherbert showed her pretty little self and so begins this journey together with her! 5/12- Two days ago the Papaya Sherbet sprouted her first true leaves and today she's really showing some vigor and some impressive growth! Today I went ahead and transplanted her for the first time into a 2qt pot filled with pre-amended coco/perlite. Before placing the Papaya Sherbet into her new home I coated the hole with Xtreme Gardening MYCOS, then placed the Papaya Sherbet and watered her in. 5/15- One week from breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet feminized photoperiod is looking fantastic and doing great with a second set of leaves now out! She's liking her bigger pot and is really beginning to take off now. I should be able to do her final transplant, which will move her outside, next week as our weather is rapidly improving... Trying to learn what plants I like to grow the most. This run is a test of each strain I ordered from seedsman. Blueberry is a clone from a seed, As I only had one of these seeds I didnt want to risk flowering it and losing a good pheno, So instead I grew that seed and cloned off of it. Maui Waui is from seed, and looks pretty wonky here, it got a bit out of hand during veg as I didn't have a screen in there. The seed has been vigourous though and I have high hopes for it being the only pure sativa in the bunch, Cheese is a clone taken from my last grow. I cloned it off the seeded plant before they went into flower. My last run with cheese went well with dense buds and good potency. Buttercream gelato is from a seed and has pretty interesting growth. It has been hard to keep nitrogen up in it and pales to lime much quicker than the other plants around it. Buttercream and Maui waui have been vegging for 2 months. Blueberry and chees have been vegging for 6 weeks

Decided to leave the plants to go to 5 veg week - will commence flowering on the 28th of November due to size restrictions. all plants are coming along well strong but some difference in sizes. Topped the bottom far left and the bottom far right and new shoots have grown well. 350ml of filtered water every other day. slight issue in the back row of plants showing yellow borders on the leaves and are curling inwards slightly - have asked question as to why.

She’s still stretching! We are at 57” and growing. I’m not sure how much more she will stretch but if she gets over 65-66” I’ll have to bend (supercrop) her over so she’s not blocking the light.

Auto banana kush has sprouted. She lost one of her initial leaves from husk, and membrane sticking. This should not effect her much as she starts. I will find out in a few days. She is growing under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in Athena blended line nutrition. This grow went pretty well she was a very branchy plant, responded well to lst providing me with a wealth of super sticky buds. I had a slight deficiency problem but that was on me. I didn't do a wet weight when I cut her down. All the buds are super sticky and have a nice citrusy lemon smell that you would hope for from any lemon strain. I will definitely be growing this strain again. I will update final weight and smoke report later after the dry and cure. Made some rosin with trim and popcorn buds at bottom of bowl trimmer. Put in about 14 got like 2 a lil more than 2 gs back.

08/21/2018 Day 1 week 3 Starting the week with second set of leaves,1st real leaves single leaves, second set is 3. It looks like one of the seedling leave is fading?.. Watching, maybe add nutes ? this week 08/22/2018 First root touching water! Here come the roots!🙏 for good week. Not sure when I add nutes. Maybe mid week. The codytledons (seedling leaves) are still healthy suggesting to me they still have nutes for seedling growth. 08/25/2018 More leaves,more roots,still no nutes,codytledons still looking good no fade. 08/26/2018 Uploaded root shots, codytledons may be withering away look closer tomorrow mornin 08/27/2018 Got up to 90° in tent, I turned on the red spectrum last night at 25%, Blue spectrum is at 100% Also some signs that codytledons turning pale, nutes coming soon 1/2 strength 💪 of course see how she responds increase as needed.
