So far another one of Fastbuds finest growing perfect not having any problems or issues. Sorry haven't updated lately guys been super busy with work and hadn't got a chance but I'm back at it and will be so stay tuned. This girl I had to switch over to 12/12 (cause I'm growing her in a tent with photoperiods that needed to switch) gonna see how she does with the shorter days but so far she seems to be responding well to it(next run will be all autos with 20/4 so as to compare this strains performance with the different lighting schedules).

Don't mind the additional plants, they'll be joining along but won't be a focus in this journal. By this point, all of the plants are really upping their drinking frequency. I can tell by next week, I'll be watering every day. Seriously loving this pairing of nutrients together. A huge note to make though, is little pistils are popping up everywhere now! It'll be two weeks - max - before we are in flower! The health of all of these girls really makes the transition, that much more exciting! Got 4 really similar plants and 2 uniques to fill in the gap. My headcanon is treating all of these Ethos plants as rare items - like in a videogame 😂. Given how expensive these genetics are, it's kind of true lmao. One relevant footnote I wanted to make was that the Banana Dad Photo seems to have far thicker fan leaves than the autoflower counterparts at this stage. You can see it quite prevalently in the overview photo for the week. Tucking the autos has been very painless, and an emergency defol.(to get light where it needs to be) doesn't seem to bring any drawbacks. The photo seems to be recovering still from removing one of the main fan leaves about a week ago. Visually, she seems a bit behind the Banana Dad auto I refer to as BR, just with larger fan leaves. Either way, I'm sure they'll stretch a decent amount within the next two weeks. I also raised the light up a bit more, to hopefully encourage just a bit more vertical growth during the trans. stretch. Day 44 from seed update: All of the girls look great! As a matter of fact, there are actual buds now! And it may be hard to see, but there's a slight blue-ish hue appearing on the older fan leaves - A similar thing happened to my Early Lemon Berry just before she went completely purple/magenta. I'm also welcomed to a sweet grape scent now every time I open the tent, really pleasant. Things are going quite smooth during transition, within the next two weeks, I'll be removing XSD from the schedule(recommended according to Labmor). Week one is in the books. I planted them on directly into the substrate 11/28/22 (no germination) out of the 10 I planted 6 of them sprouted up. I'm excited for this grow because I have 3 new strains I have never grown. This is grow #7 for me going on 2 years growing straight with no break. All three plants are now in flower, with the #2 & #3 ahead by about a week. I have done LST on all three, tying down branches with horticulture wire. I've also done some defoliation on each plant as they got extremely bushy and were getting zero light down into the lower sections of them. All have responded extremely well to the training and are looking great! Tomorrow I will empty and clean the reservoir along with the 'brain bucket' as the water has really gotten funky and has an odor that I don't like. Going forward, I'm going to be doing weekly changes on the reservoir where I'll empty/clean/refill and add fresh nutrients. In between changes I'll just be topping off the reservoir with straight water and only checking the PH. 11/7- Yesterday I emptied, cleaned/disinfected and refilled the reservoir and 'brain bucket' with well water. After filling, I added Plagron's Cocos 'A' and 'B' in equal portions, Green Sensation, Royal Rush and Power Roots. I also added a dose of silica to this batch @ 1.2ml/g. The plants are all doing alright, the #3 does have some spotting beginning on her leaves in in margins, and has never had the darker green of the other two pheno's. 11/9- I'm continuing to adjust the LST wires on all three plants to try and keep as much light penetration down into the centers of the plants which has been working well. I have also removed a shade leaf here and there when necessary. The plants are really doing well in this AirCube system and I'm slowly getting a better handle on its 'in's & out's'. I did also check the ppm's of the return solution to see if there was a wide variance from what was going in, and all was good with only a 50-100ppm difference. 11/11- The spotting on the #3 pheno has cleared up nicely, and she's the tallest of the three plants @ 24". The #1 and #3 plants, although not as tall, have flowers that are getting a beautiful dark purple coloration in them, while the #2 pheno's flowers are pure white, with only a slight hint of purple coloration showing. Tomorrow I will be doing a drain/clean/refill on the AirCube system, along with fresh nutrients, which the girls should really enjoy! There's two weeks of flower behind these girls, with another six to eight to go which will be getting more exciting as the weeks progress... North lights is doing good. She is just about bulking and will be switched to ph water in a few days. She has a earthy citrus aroma. Everything has been going good. Week 7 begins. Removed some dead leaves and big leaves that were blocking light to the lower parts of the plant. Buds are big, white and frosty! Very happy with the plants development up to this point.
