Switched to flowering this week (Nov. 1) and of course drained, cleaned and refilled the reservoir buckets with the flowering nutrient solution. Cleaning this week indicated more growth on the interior surfaces than normal so I also did a full H2O2 (3%) clean, with a good rinse afterwards. Also ran the air stone in a cleaning cycle for a few minutes. You can see that the discoloration from last week is gone, thankfully. Keeping the pH in check though I did let it slip with a few days in between readings there. Thankfully no substantial effect. I'm not sure I love the overall geometry of the plant... but it's healthy and has a decent number of colas forming so that's all that counts. Compared to the chilled and recirculated water system I used last time around, this is MUCH easier. My reservoir temps are a bit higher than I'd like but the Hydroguard is doing it's job and no issues so far. Fingers crossed it stays this way. Thanks for reading growmieverse.

If you’ve got a bit of time and some ice, it’s really a fun thing to do. It’s also a great way to make use of every part of the plant

Most important to note from this week: Even a small dose of cal mag to plants 3 and 6 slightly stunted growth. There seems to be a lot of nutrients in this soil which might be why the added cal mag slowed growth and showed very dark leaves (too much nitrogen from the cal mag). I am using RO water so thought that cal mag would help but didn't. PH in correct range along with recharge and silica really calls for no nuts in this soil! Transplanted to 1 gallon pot with Ocean Forest soil on days 16 and 17. Still only using recharge and silica w/ no extra nutrients. I did add 2ml of cal mag to the plant with light spotting which seemed to help slightly by day 20. All ph ranges are right at about 6.5. I found that watering at 6.7 with a low ppm water brings me to a good ph range for this soil. No signs of deficiency so no extra nutrients for now. Average relative humidity slightly lowered to 60%. I'm paying attention to light distance and power closely to keep ppfm in 300-400 range. 2 plants did not make it. I believe due to overwatering. 5 white widows left I performed LST on Day 21. Plants are short and bushy so I felt no need to top. LST combined with scrog is the plan.

Another great week with perfect weather. Been spraying BT still about once every 5-7 days. Haven't seen any signs of caterpillar droppings so that's a plus. My bud releases are sticking around and fighting the good fight. Only pest I'm seeing that is starting to building up is grasshopper.

Day 38 since starting germination: Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 4ml/gal and added Liquid Koolbloom to the feed. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Atreum hydra-3200 is providing ~700 ppfd across the canopy. At this point I’m starting to feed for flower so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my RDWC buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients. I’ve seen some saying a ph of ~6.5 is more ideal for autoflowers so I will be trying that this feed…which works out nice because my solution happened to be right there after mixing the nutrients.

Auto moon rock didn't get really tall on my perlite experiment, but she has some nice thick colas on her. A good strong woody, earthy, pine aroma. She is covered in trichromes and looks very potent. She struggled with getting started. Then I gave her too much nitrogen early on. So this may of stunted her overall height as well. She came out good though it all. I willhave a few ounces once done, and that's what counts. Day 49-56 (June 18th - 25th) (Day 51) Slurricanes and tuna are doing excellent despite their hail damaged leaves. I’m seeing good growth and decent dry downs. One of them looks like it’s been ravaged by pests but I still can’t find any evidence or signs of a pest. I’m suspecting caterpillars so I’m going to grab some BTK killer and also some all purpose insecticide sometime this week if I have time. The clones are all really lagging so they won’t be flipped until July 15th at least. I’m still not seeing normal growth on any of them yet. It’s still quite gnarled and twisted. (Day 52) The slurricane and tuna roots are starting to poke through the bottom of my pots. This is usually from underwatering, a thick soil or a hot root zone. I’m going to give everything except for the autos a good watering with some runoff. I am going to start incorporating 5mm sand into all of my soil mixes to help make the soil more loamy and give it some better drainage. I will also top dress every container and bed plant I have. (Day 53) I was at a local department store today and I was shocked to see pallets of Destiny dark matter soil selling for 60% off! I bought 10 bags for a hundred bucks. At any hydro store that would have costed me 250 at least. I might go grab more because it looks like no one is buying it for 60% off even. (Day 54) I’m going to be harvesting both of my indoor crops today and tomorrow or the next day I am going to be reusing the soil-coco blend for the slurricanes. I’m first going to till it, add a gallon of sea compost, a gallon of Destiny soil and a few cups of 5mm sand per container. I will use the excess for 5 gal pots. I will be amending with: 5 tablespoons of nature’s pride bloom 4 tablespoons of kelp meal 2 tablespoons of Gaia green AP 2 tablespoons of glacial rock dust 2 tablespoons of oyster shell flour 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 1 tablespoon of rock dust blend 1/4 teaspoon of langbeinite (Day 56) The autos are really making a comeback now. I was under the impression that I was working against the clock and they would start flowering after 3-5 weeks. I guess if they’re stunted from the cold they will delay flowering. I don’t see any pistils or signs of flowering yet so I don’t think they’ve officially started flowering yet I didn’t get a chance to do my transplant this week or pest control. I will get to it ASAP because my photos are drinking almost a liter a day

Week started how I hoped. Rain stops and the sun is shining several hours per day. But it is still cloudy often.

it is stable in the wind, withstands hot days and continues to grow. it is showing the first signs of flowering. i think it will go into full bloom next week. she still has 2 months before i move. i hope she makes it. she gets fertiliser every 2 days.

#1 is fully on her way to make life great can't complain no problem so far....just did a lil LST so she have more room to do her thing.. #2 problem has been solve to an extent..just have to watch her and see what up

Smoke report! 10/10/20 tastes are tropical with a citrus hint and pine! Also tastes like it has some gas on it too can feel the power in every blast! Feels like euphoric a lot of day dream happy thoughts great for music and day smoke puts you in the best of moods! Not much to say on a negative as it tastes so good your mouth waters lol but could say makes you very very sleepy 😴 thank you for popping by check out them tones and fades 😍 Was amazing to grow! Ran into no problems along the way she literally just grew and grew! She showed her beauty from early and was shining through colours of purple/red even on the leaves! And her smell “oh my” is exclusive like sherbet and citrus and fruit and candy! I’ll add more photos after cure and also a smoke report! Want to allow this to cure about 2 weeks before I even try her!
