Lemon tree is slowly coming to an end 🍋

Had to re-settle a few of the arrangements to avoid crowding, but generally pleased with the canopy. Not very level but every cola has their space to fill just fine. Check out my timelapse!

Very pleased with the state of the Chemdawg bonsai, the ceramic cupcake reveal is working nicely. Still need to clean up those roots once they firm up a bit. She's also starting to show pre-flowers now. Meanwhile, the main Chemdawg is looking great, the octo-colas are shaping exactly like I hoped, and she's mostly outgrown the overwatered thing. That said, she's a very fast grower and I'm running out of horizontal room. I'll probably need to top her again just to slow her down compared to her tent-mate (Lemon Tart Pucker, growing in a much more indica fashion). Tent is still holding at 600 PPFD, 82 F (28 C) daytime temps, target VPD of 1.0. Did another Rootwise soak across the tent this week, plants seemed to enjoy it.

Deep Forest Auto is growing great. She is stretching and producing more pistils daily. I defoliated her in her center some to allow more light to stimulate more growth. Everything is looking really good. 🗓️ WEEK 4 / DAYS 22-28 (flo) 💧 The fourth week of flowering is marked by the introduction of a PK 8/9 booster, Green Sensation, into the nutrient solution. This joins the Power Buds flowering stimulator already in use since the transition phase, precisely following the Plagron feeding schedule. Consequently, given the plant's current needs, we are increasing the concentration of phosphorus and potassium in the nutrient mix. The pH is oscillating between 5.9 and 6.2, and she is consuming approximately 3 liters per day. 🌱 The plant is now entering the full flowering stage and appears to be in great condition. She is still stretching, having grown from 54 cm to 65 cm in height this week, although this is expected to cease shortly. Encouragingly, several side branches have almost reached the same height as the central cola, which is excellent news for uniform light absorption (look at day 27 flo). Towards the end of the week, I performed another substantial defoliation, 13 days after the previous one, and also removed the lowest branches that were not receiving sufficient light. Having already undergone several defoliations during the vegetative and transition phases, the plant is responding well even to this significant intervention during this delicate stage.

The bushes are shooting up fast — the fan leaves, palm-sized by now, are already poking into the light. LED is not HPS lamp, good for me :) I'm training the branches daily with soft wire ties from the garden shop — cheap as chips. Watering with RO water, pH dialled in. A 15-litre reservoir makes it easy to manage PPM and pH, and the air stone keeps the solution well-oxygenated — roots love it. 3 weeks in without Simplex Coco base. A couple of days ago the stems started showing a slight red tint. Figured I probably didn't mix enough nutrients into the top layer: I went with 3 grams per litre of substrate — 9 litres of Simplex coco brick and 3 scoops of nutes, carefully blended. Was worried about overdoing it. Still, even at the minimum dose I got minor burn on the lower leaves. The substrate had been pre-soaked with Simplex Coco base — should've flushed it for a couple of days first with a CalMag solution and pH 5.6–6.3. Three weeks later I top-dressed with another half scoop (5 g) per pot. For a long-flowering sativa that's pretty standard practice — topdressing every 2–3 weeks works well. Overall, Bio Feeding is a really straightforward option — accessible and easy to follow even for a beginner like me. Can't wait to taste the end result: never grown bio before, only mineral nutrients.

What do you think about these first days? The humidity is not much stable but I’m planning to buy a humidifier in the next week.

First week of flowering and its going great! The plants are still nice and green from the biogrow we gave some weeks ago, next steps is to give some guanokalong bloom nutrients and a small shot of green sensation from plagron!

Pure Ice cream is finishing up. I switched her to just ph water yesterday. The next update will be a harvest for her. She has a nice cream smell, and Looks really good. She should produce some nice nuggets. Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

The buds are so heavy that I had to support them with a plant stake, but I still haven't found the long-awaited any amber color among the trichomes, which means I still have to wait until they reach full maturity... Well, no matter how I count, this is already the 10th week, I won't feed them anymore, now they will only receive pH-adjusted water.

4/10 Hey all. So I obviously slacked off on keeping a journal. Easier said than done when life gets busy. This is for anyone who took a passing interest in this plant because this was a relatively new strain from In-house.When I last left, I was reporting yellowing in the plant and general sadness in how she looked. Long story short, I think it was the enviornment it struggled with. I ended up switching it to my "warmer" tent that was closer to the space heater. It ended up growing more when I did this. That being said, it never seemed to fully recover. I ended up flipping to 12/12 (not recommended if you have a struggling plant) only because I was starting to run out of space. Fortunately for me, it seems like the plant has never been healthier. The buds are coming in nicely thus far and smell great. I think spring came just in time for her. The tent now routinely gets up to about 75-77 degrees F instead of the balmy 72-69 F I was dealing with months ago. Regardless, this journal WILL have a happy ending. Happy growing everyone.

The clips are working great 👍. Even canopy. Verry green. Still not cutting any leaves. Going into flower now so i slowly introduced Bud neutreants while decreasing vege neuts. Still not as tall as I wanted. Hopefully it'll stretch a lot.

this cultivar does not like to be bent at all. Starting to show those colours too. This one needs to be LST at a very early stage and it likes to stiffen up like an old school sativa, gets real brittle. Going to start foliar sprays with silica because they help tighten up node spacing, and I know this plant also has longer node spacing typical to landrace sativa cultivars.

She bounced back from last week. Temps are up and down in the outside environment. Not too much problem here. Trying to sweeten her up a bit with the bud candy.
