AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Purpling bling bling.

It’s the third week of vegetation, and both plants are growing like crazy! 🌿 They’re super healthy and pushing forward with lots of energy. I’ve been feeding them with the BioBizz nutrient schedule for veg and adding Root Juice to boost their root development. 🌱💧 I’m trying different LST (low-stress training) techniques with both plants. For one, I’ve applied LST to the entire plant, bending the main stem to get more light exposure across the canopy. 🌿🔄 The other plant is a bit different—I’ve only used LST on the lower branches to encourage better side growth while letting the main stem do its thing. 🌱📈 Both plants are responding really well, and I’m excited to see how these different techniques impact their development. Things are looking promising! 😁✨

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

Plants still stretching. I cleaned the bottoms from small branches and leaves, to give more energy to main buds and to make easy trim

Went fine. Windowsilll until I could see it pop above ground then into the tent on 95% rh -hardening it off 5% RH at a time. UPDATE; WEDNESDAY okay so I tried to fit in my 300w light but obviously it wouldn’t fit and so I thought “hmmm, what have I got about the house I can use?” I had a cob with one of those round pin heatsinks that is 100w but I obviously won’t be using it at the same timings as the main light, it is to boost the main light at certain points; mainly during flowering for a start!

I have been busy and been off gd for a while. Time to finish up on this diary. Plant has done good all summer long. She is getting some good frost to her and is smelling amazing! She had 1 good watering this past week.😍

What's up Growmies!!! These babies will be getting the chop this weekend, which would put them in week 14 overall and week 9 in Flower. It has been a smooth grow, not a lot of issues other than the tips getting burned, which is normal being that I pushed them to the max as far as the nutrients I fed them. I made the mistake feeding White Widow #3 the same nutrients as the others even though it is 3 weeks behind and definitely overwhelmed her with nutrients hence the yellowing and brown leaves you see in the first part of the video. The trichromes are exactly where I want them right now, mostly cloudy with about 25 to 30% amber. I'm guessing they will be at about 50/50 come Friday or Saturday when I give them the chop. I flushed each one last night with 2 gallons of distilled water, I'm going to flush them once more today and then allow them to dry out. My Caramelicious plant has been begging for 14 weeks and has grown all the way past the lights, I am going to top her today and cut away 4 or 5 nodes. Once I have these ones chopped and out of the tent. All in all this has been a smooth grow and I can't wait to test the final product. Mal sehen wie lange sie noch braucht aber ich lass sie in der Regel immer etwas länger stehen, weil mir da die Wirkung am besten und am stärksten vor kommt.😁 Außer ich bekomm jetzt noch Probleme mit Schimmel! week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.
