What a journey! These girls were so awesome to watch grow. I made some real true newbie mistakes right from the start... 😳 Packed the soil way too tight, did not germinate in wet paper towel first, and of course over-watered. The one I call yellow monster actually had its root above ground and it turned brown. I did fix it up laughing all the time. But in the end with only a dry weight of 21.7 g , watching it turn yellow then purple was well worth it. 😍 The one I wanted to main-line was the very first to sprout but the very last to grow... the end up being the tallest at 38 inches. She stayed green the whole time. She had a weight of 34.2 g 😜 My LST was fantastic... I could only imagine what she would have turned out like with no to little mistakes. She was a cool mixture of green and purple. Her weight was 43.6 g 😳😍😜 Total weight = 99.5 grams or 3.55 oz Kryptonite soil "living soil", just added water the whole time... (with a little bit of molasses mixed in once in a while). 315w CMH Lights with an extra 600w LED for 3 or 4 week near the end... thanks to a friend! 26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. What can I say this thunder fuck is so smooth to smoke, I just can't stop growing it! I am in uncharted waters here because I've gone full organic no till. This will be my first time using grassroots living soil pots and first time using this brand new soil mix. Also to help with costs I decided to make a 5 gal tea reactor, to grow out the EM1 which will save me about 75% on all microbe products, and also save on feralization when used in conjunction with foliar sprays. We are now in week 7 (today MAY 13 2024 DAY 53) going into week 8 getting ready to turn off our veg stage and turn the flower on! We have introduced the next stage of nutrition for the plant ( Fox Farm Big Bloom next we start adding Tiger Bloom) we plan on doing our flower flip between May 16th and 17th and we are looking forward to a 8 to 10 week flower time frame for this strain. We are slowly introducing videos for our gross this will be the first strain and grow Journal of ours where we will be introducing a time-lapse video of the flower stage. I'm only going to give her one more week of extra light hours with the LED, and then she can stay outside, where she can transistion into Flowering Naturally.
