Moved out in week 3 on 18.04.24

I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/P0hn5cKZ0Z0 I cut up an old 10K shirt that was made of cotton. I had just broken down my balcony garden since it’s already getting cold here. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.

This was the last run I’ll be doing of this girl she finished beautifully nothing bad to say about the strain. When I scroll down the yield increased exponentially

So as you can see my girls suffered a bit in week 3 but are on the mend. I've continued to LST them tying down the new growth sites and either tucking or removing the fan leaves to allow light to penetrate to the new growth sites I'm going to veg for 2/3 more weeks then flip them Just did a complete water change and stripped down the whole system to clean the water pipes air pipes and air stones. After visiting my local hydroponics shop they recommended a organic ph up and down which I thought sounded good less chemicals in my grow what's not to like about that. However once I had used them I quickly realised they had issues I was constantly checking and adjusting my ph levels as they would drop to 5.3 and over the course of a few hours would rise to 7.4 upon checking my water pump I found my filters where completely blocked so I flushed them and put them back in and it seemed to work fine until the next day when I checked again and yet again they where blocked. I think they had reacted with my other nutrients and caused a brown funky sludge. I have scrubbed each bucket and reservoir to get rid of the gunk then used disinfect on all the equipment and the grow room. Moved light to 3ft above plants. 600ppfd plants are reacting well. Day 23 moved lights back to 24 inches above and made sure DLI was 45 -50. Huge growth increase.

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

The plant is thriving as it enters its 11th week of flowering. The buds have developed beautifully, and they’re giving off a sweet, lemony aroma that fills the grow space. It’s a scent that’s both refreshing and promising, making me excited for the final product. At this stage, everything looks great, and I’ve decided to start flushing the plant with clear water only. This should help remove any residual nutrients and ensure a smoother, cleaner smoke. I’m planning to continue flushing for the next one to two weeks before harvesting. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this plant turns out. The buds are dense and sticky, and if the smell is any indication, the end result should be amazing. Can’t wait to see how she finishes!

We’ve reached the eighth week, and the plants continue to tell their stories. Two of them have revealed themselves as males, fulfilling their role in genetics, while the others keep growing vigorously. The dynamics of the garden change, but the journey remains steady and promising. During flowering, I stick to my consistent approach: I don’t change how I provide water and biofertilizers. I believe regularity is the key to a healthy and balanced transition. Additionally, I’m not a fan of heavy defoliation; I prefer to respect the plants’ natural rhythm, removing only the leaves that fall off easily, as if the plants themselves are telling me they no longer need them. Observing each stage of this cycle is an exercise in patience and learning. Each plant has its own personality, and watching them is like uncovering a secret only nature can reveal. I can’t wait to see how the garden will bloom in the coming weeks!

After 50 days I could finally transplant them. I'll veg them for about 1 or 2 weeks more depending on how fast they'll grow because I want to do 1 more topping to create 8 main cola's each.

We move her to a bigger pot to make sure she expand her roots and grow bigger We add water every 24hrs to keep her humid but not too much just enough Also we have been adding veggie nutes until today... We switch to bloom nutes and now we are around 1500ppm. Added like 300/400ml plus 50ml of plain water.... And thats about it.... Let's see how she grows I am sad my kitty escaped from home We have been waiting for her to come back This is the third night without her We did everything we could to find her This really sucks but the only thing we get to say is that we never saw her dead Which give us hope.... We really hope she does come back This is the first time she does something like that we dont even know if she ever will But people said to wait for at least 1week to a month the la test.... I just hope she does! Anyways.... Reason im mentioning my girl Is because her name was bunny And the day she escaped She ate Part of my strawberry cheesecake (of one of those fan leaves) And I will keep that one til end Because yeah she will always remind me... Oh well... Lord im just.... Waiting for this strawberry cheesecake so I can chill and keep hoping she comes back >.<
