Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. Every corner, every canopy, every branch tells a story — and this week, I’ve taken the time to slow down and capture that story as best I can through the lens of my camera. All the photos you’ll see in this update were taken with care and intention. I use my Sony camera in full manual focus mode, and I don’t just snap and go — I spend time with each plant, each angle, waiting for that perfect moment when everything aligns. These are not just photos to document — they’re my attempt to reflect the feeling of the room, the energy of the grow, and the soul of each plant. Just like with the videos, I don’t shoot randomly and decide later. I record what matters, and what I record, I use. It keeps me focused, organized, and deeply connected to the process — and I believe it helps me tell the story more clearly, whether through stills or moving pictures. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. 18/07/2020- I've started some light defoliation on both plants to see if they can cope. Im removing lower and larger fan leaves to get more light onto the bud sites. They look super healthy and are getting very sticky. Same nute mix used as last week. 19/07/2020 - More defoliation today; plant seems to like it as flowers are continuing to grow and leaves are going silver. 21/07/2020 - Doubled the number of pk13/14 used in my nute mix to 20ml/10L and continuing to defoliate both plants. They seem to be responding very well. Still using this nute mix PH 6.2 a+b 40ml/10L Pk 13/14 20ml/10L PPM 1170 Temperature of solution ~20c Runoff ph 6.2 22/07/2020 Really struggling to prune the excess leaves on the plant without coming out feeling like I'm covered in glue. I guess there's worse problems to have... QO is going 23/07/2020 Had to travel away with work today; top cola has some minor light burn :( 24/07/2020 - Changed my ducting setup to improve airflow into the tent today and it's working well. I've also put some trellising above the plants so i can tie them up to prevent them from snapping or falling over. They're looking healthy.

Last week of flowering for our banana purple Punch from fastbuds 420 This week only water was given to the girls, as at the end of week we are harvesting the plants! Very nice smells comes out of the tent, cant wait to try all of the fastbuds strains i have in the tent 🤗🤗🤗

Day 36 Flower (Day 78) Today is the first day of week six of flower and on this glorious day, I went to war against the fungus gnats. By war, I mean watering each girl with 5 million Nematodes in 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. That should hopefully do the trick and get rid of the annoying little shits. I also experimented a bit more with bud photography and this time I used an LED ring flash. The next step is to shoot during the dark period so I don't get any supplemental light from the grow lights. That was pretty much it today as it is mostly just coasting along at this point in the grow. Day 37 Flower (Day 79) The left girl got pampered with a new light today. Let's see if those extra photons can help her fatten up. She also got a CO2 bag to help her to soak up all those juicy photons. The right girl on the other hand just got her daily watering. Today with 3 liters at pH 6.6. Day 38 Flower (Day 80) All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and started brewing some compost tea to feed tomorrow. I used a simple recipe this time with just some worm castings and molasses to increase the microbial activity, as well as a bit of neem meal for some additional nutrition but also to help against pests. The fungus gnats in the tents are almost gone. The nematodes took care of the gnat larvae and the yellow sticky traps have been catching the adults. Day 39 Flower (Day 81) Super chill day. I just gave each girl 3 liters of compost tea at pH 6.2. Done. Day 40 Flower (Day 82) I gave 3 liters of pH 6.5 water to the right girl and supported some of her branches as they're getting heavy with buds. Boom! Day 41 Flower (Day 83) Today I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. The gnats look to be defeated for now. I can't see any in the tents and the yellow sticky traps are empty. Day 42 Flower (Day 84) The last day of the sixth week of flower and all is going great in the tents. The heatwave we were having went away, which kind of sucks on a personal and social level, but it's great for the girls as the tents were swelteringly hot. The left girl is 103 cm tall and didn't grow anything this week. She has started to fatten up a bit now since I installed a more powerful light, but she is still lagging far behind the right girl. I'm interested to see if she is only lagging behind in time and will fatten up eventually, or if her ordeal has stunted her flowers, resulting in a bunch of larf. Time will tell. Either way, it will be a learning experience. The right girl also didn't grow vertically this week (thankfully!). Her 123 cm is tall enough to be dangerously close to the lights. She is fattening up nicely but still some time to go before she is done. I haven't checked any trichomes yet but should probably start checking next week. Today was another chill late-flower day, I just gave the left girl 2 liters of pH 6.7 water, and the right got 3 liters at pH 6.5.

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

Day 113: Decided to add one gallon pH6.5 water with nutrients. This should be the last feed. Day 114: tent hotter than I would like. Exhaust fan full speed. Cleaned up more leaves. Hopefully can make two more weeks but I am a little concerned. Day 115: gave one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons of Herculean Harvest. Removed a few leaves. The urge to defoliate is huge. Day 116: removed some more leaves. May harvest this weekend instead of the next. Day 117: no water added. Removed a lot of dried up leaves. I would be worried if it weren't for other ak47 journals showing the same yellowing leaves toward harvest time. Day 118: no pictures Day 119: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. So want to harvest but will wait 4-7 days.

25-2: Throughout the week, I'm observing two phenomena simultaneously: a portion of the upper leaves turning a lighter green and/or appearing to have a yellowish hue. One plant has curled leaves at the top of the plant but limited to one layer of leaves. The tips are yellowed with dark spots. Due to rapid growth, the plant flew too close to the sun and burned its wings, was my assessment. In other words, light burn. The leaves becoming lighter are located in several layers from the top to halfway down the plant. I suspect there is a deficiency and perform a slurry test. The EC is low at 0.24 and the pH is good at 6.3. The soil is still too wet to feed, which presents a dilemma: feed with the risk of wet feet or wait a bit longer with the risk that the deficiencies become more severe? To mitigate this, I gave foliar feeding (Terra Bloom 0.5 ml per liter) by spraying the leaves without really wetting them. I did this just after the lights were out. A day later, I first flushed the plants with a few liters of water pH 6.4 and then gave them nutrients with EC 1.3 and pH 6.4: Terra Bloom (+/- 4 ml per liter), Sugar Royal (1 ml per liter), and a tiny bit of Great White and orthosilicic acid. And hung the lights back at 30 cm. It seems to be working because I see the color coming back slightly and the yellowing has at least stopped. Furthermore, I'm keeping the day and night temperature a bit higher at about 25 degrees Celsius during the day and around 21 at night. This is to limit the humidity at night and during the day to increase the VPD to about 1.45. At the end of the week I see the end of the stretch and standing 87 cm tall at average. Looked at calendar wrong. Realized plants are 35 days from sprout. Very pleased with the potential these plants are showing this early into flowering.. Hopefully my LST technique will earn me another Mephisto bouquet of cannabis flowers. October 23 2021. Day 37 from sprout. Added some Rock resonator to their diet today. Will continue to run this product as long as no detrimental effects should happen. In middle of flower will be using bloombastic on only half the crop for trial purposes.

I was not home half of this week. The buds getting really fat and full of trichomes. About 60-80% of pistils are orange now Wierdly some of the leaves are dying
