A new journey has begun. A very special one since I am doing first photoperiod dependant strains and first time doing in coco. I decided to put four plants in the grow tent and to do main lining. It is going to be quite challenging because of all new techniques I’ll be using. Day 1: all four seeds sprouted nicely. I put them in small pots until they don’t grow and be ready for transplantation. I just watered them with a pH controlled water measured to 5.8.

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 12/01/2020 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.6PH water with 0,2ml of each: Cal Mag (Atami), Grow, Bloom and Max, and 0,5ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, noticed some run off, I use about 1/4 of the nutrient dosage on the chart, to achieve about 100/150PPM (500 scale). Now using the perfect PPM worsheet made by Grow Boss.

Welcome to week 10 and week 4 of the flowering period of my Zamnesia Runtz grow😁 Last changes seems to have a possitiff effect an the plants. 2 liters a plant a feeding seems to be a little to much considdering that my RH is getting a little to high over 50% now it raises to 60 when the light are off and going to 45 with lights on. Considdering to defoliate i but more but not sure. Day 27😁😁 Every thing is going better by the day. RH is now between 42 en 47. She likes the nutes but i gave her a little to much so i lowered it a bit. Now it's time for bud fattening😍 she already started a bit and i am seeing differce day by day. Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Applied the scrog net, two layers so far so top layer mainly for repositioning and support. Trying to fill 1.5m2 (5x5) is a big task but seems to be going well so far. Had some slight magnesium deficiency but correcting it over the next few feeds.

Day 51, 9th of November 2021: Hi there! Here we go the second week of flowering. This is the time really not much to say apart from the strech they are going through. Especially Spilff's Strawberry 🍓 she is crazily doing it. Not much changed maximum a bit more water intake for them. I could write ✍️ review each of them but nothing significant happening it is the transition stage anyways. So rather just post the current settings and facts basically it is just the same like last week when it started. ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation is different as well under the 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hours on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

Week 19 november - 25 november 23 november - D1 flowering I watered it a little too much. as it is colder I will start giving 1.5L of water instead of 2L

Only week 2, so nothing exciting yet but the seedlings obviously are surviving the hardest part lol. I cant wait till these start booming in a week or so. Ive heard they grow fast as hell. Im excited to grow these autos right here. Looking strong. I will be LST right when the first true leaves grow in well to maximize yield as much as possible. Wont be topping it.

No issues all week steady away I might have underwatered slightly this week partly because it's been so hot! Only noticed when I hand my hands in the media for a check. Had a nice rinse with some bioenhancer. Measured the plant at its highest point 30cm but its measuring at 60cm wide and its now just a waiting game till we achieve a little height. Still not defoliated anything at all yet but looking at it if I'm to keep an even ish canopy I might want to look at it. Tho it grows very strangely. It's like it will grow a little bit here and then the next day a little bit there so it's forever looking abit lobsided middle is due for its turn tomorrow tho. I've tried to control it by spinning the plant thinking it might be down to the air circulation but it appears it's not that.

Day 57 Day 15 flower - what can I say? No issues reported so far, did some more defoliation below the scrog and tidied up some of the flower sites, removed a few of the old fan leaves and checked on Zkittlez OG, she is frosty already and starting to look really sparkly and beautiful 💎😍 The others are also showing some frost and bud development is going well!! Exciting times ahead! 290319 day 59 flower day 17 - no issues apart from slight heat stress for the girl in the middle, will adjust the light tomorrow to ease the stress. Bud candy just arrived so I will add 1ml/l on next feed tomorrow morning! Overall the bud sites have came through in numbers and are looking very strong and healthy, OG Zkittlez auto has turned into diamonds of trichomes and the others are following suite 😍 more updates to come! Hopefully skittlez is finished in the next 3 weeks! Also added a rotating flow to get good air flow in the tent, there were some dead spots. 020419 day 63 flower day 21

Now that I finally removed the other plants i have total control of the space! I moved the light diagonally so the girls can take max benefit from it.. I think i fucked the ph once since I saw a little deficit on the plant after the last watering... I dont know if ifs ph or something else :/
