A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

So week two finished and I think she is looking well, this is my first ever grow so anyone sees anything I'm doing wrong do let me know as im here to learn, my next thing im pondering for this week is she ready to be tied down (LST)? She is standing around 5.5 Inches and has leaves and shoots coming off everywhere.. lets see what week 3 brings hopefully she carries on as she has been doing.

Hello everyone, I don't know what is happening with one of my Afghan skunk plants she is flowering under 24 hours of light per day that should not have happened she sits in a 10 gallon pot and i wanted to keep her in vege for 2 more weeks. 1/16/2023 - Day 14: not much new to report. All 6 plants are continuing to look healthy. The Grand Prix seem to be a bit smaller than the Frozen White Runtz and Ice Bath. They all look good though. 1/18/2023 - Day 16: clipped a leaf off each Grand Prix to send it in for a genetic test to determine the sex. I used Farmer Freeman. Nothing else to report at this time. 1/20/2023 - Day 18: watered all 6 plants and foliar fed with the same water. Ph was 6.6, and mixed with ThermX-70, FishShit, Rootwise Micro Complete, Pure Protein Dry organic fish fertilizer, BuildASoil Big 6, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, Fermented Comfrey Extract, and Yah-Whey Thrive. I know I went crazy, but might as well use it if I have it. 1/21/2023 - Day 19: Plants are looking happy. They obviously loved the feeding yesterday

Sorry brothers to be so lait this week... had some problems with may Home Assistant raaspberry. Lost a day and half of photos. Weather is Getting better Black Cream Is in senescense. Buds are fattening and getting some color. Shes so Beautiful now. The other are starting to a lot of pistilis out. Flowering in early stage. didnt train them so much let them grow more vertically. Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back! 🌿💚 Willkommen zur dritten vergangenen Blütewoche! Hier im Bio Tabs NL Grow, erreichen wir aktuell eine höhe von 132cm. Und eine richtig krasse Breite von 68cm. Die Pflanze hat einen moderaten Stretch hingelegt, welcher jetzt allmählich abklingen dürfte. Beide Pflanzen sind jetzt tatsächlich gleich hoch. Es zeichnet sich ein durchgängis schönes und gesundes Wachstum ab. Allmählich entwickeln sich trichome rund um die Blütenansätze und auch schon sichtbar auf den Leafs. Da es sich um reguläres Saatgut handelt habe ich die Super Cropping Methode angewendet. Diese Woche das letzte Mal. Das bedeutet man verletzt die Triebe der Pflanze absichtlich und knickt sie an verschiedenen Stellen ein und ein wenig ab. An diesen Stellen bilden sich dann strukturelle Verstärkungen, das der Pflanze eine verbesserte Stabilität bietet und wohl auch den Ertrag verbessern soll. Auf jeden Fall Hilft die Technik der Pflanze, später die schweren Buds (hoffentlich) besser zu tragen, ohne dass Sich die Triebe zu arg runterbiegen oder sogar abknicken. both lights are about 8 inches away and holy punch is now 11 inches tall. did a lot lollipoping on day 54 hop it wasn't to much for the smaller power flower it seems to be coming back fine though

This grow started on October 20, and today is December 26, which puts the plants into Week 9 of the overall cycle. The last defoliation and pruning was done around December 16. After that, I made a conscious decision to stop cutting and stressing the plants. Earlier in veg I definitely over-stressed them — too much training, too many interventions. In hindsight, that slowed things down instead of helping. From this point on, the goal was to let the plants recover, grow freely, and build momentum in order to reach the flowering stage as smoothly and quickly as possible. Lesson learned for future grows: less stress fewer unnecessary cuts more patience Sometimes the hardest part is not touching the plants at all, especially when your hands are itching to train and optimize everything. Week 9 is about recovery, structure, and preparation for flower. Next week marks the start of flowering.

She has really busted out this week! Especially since she was topped. The new budsites have reached the ScrOG net and they all on the same level so should flower nice and evenly! Loving the new grow sack! Super excited to see her starting to bud!

This grow was all about learning the process of hydroponics. Needles to say It is not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of time to set up and so... But along the way with help from several growmies it came to a unexpected result. 227 gram dry weight of good quality cannabis. This result ,I'm very happy ,has so much room for improvement that I can't wait for the next grow. I like to thank Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these awesome genetics, I suspect this is a big part of the result, the freebies and a lot of weed. Ofcourse I couldn't wait for the cure and started smoking. Man this stuff is sticky!! The smell is already hard to resist. The taste could be better,no cure yet, Very fresh but you smell and taste the potential. Being a long time haze smoker the effect is not exactly my thing but at night after dinner with a cup of coffee that's more what this is. Being a older person the hardest part of this contest is this damn diarie. Still find it difficult to find my ways. How many times I have to do this over 😤 I will grow this stuff again , never was a big fan of autoflowers but this outcome made me a believer. The starting plugs that came with these seeds are from now on a absolute must have! You see the difference . I cleaned the Aquafarm and it's ready for the other strain "Legendary OG Punch", that's now inside the growplug. Unfortunately to late for a full grow to be in competition but will make a diarie never the less.
