This weather's been crazy! We've been stuck in this deep freeze for over a week now. The temperature hasn't climbed above freezing for like 10 days – it's brutal out there. And to make things worse, with all this cold, the humidity's been acting weird. It's really hard on the plants, especially without the sun to help them dry out a little. "My Gas Tax x Obama Runtz plant is totally killing it right now! After a rough patch, it's finally starting to thrive. The leaves are this super bright green, and I can't believe how many flower buds I'm seeing. It's so rewarding to watch it bounce back." I can also make it sound a little more scientific if you want.

Space is getting tight! The two new plants in the tent with the already flowering Bubblegum has me tinkering with leaves every night. Setting up a scrog this week possibly or might just do it open ended.

Day 33: What an amazing height and bud gain in just 3 days! Lady #1 is 67 cm tall now, her sister a tad smaller. Both still have a great color, and I dared to cur away just the lowest branches and leaves that do not look like they could gain height in time. Really enjoying this strain so far! At the end of their day, they are a bit dropping leaves, so clearly no hunger for more light. The impressive growth speed continued on their buds: Tallest lady at 70 cm now. Their next morning shows growth is still at an impressive 5 cm/day as lady #1 with her leaves erected again stretches now 72, the maximum of my previous growth. Pulled the lights as close as possible to the ceiling and hope they won’t make it much more than 1 m. I activated the Sansi 30 W folded wings LED to give them somewhat of a morning and evening light and to add some more light to their overlapping center branches in the middle of "their" day. Sadly that’s causing some interference to the timelapse videos, but I can’t say they’re perfect if it wouldn’t. Watching the timelapse video of day 34, I have the feeling the additional light rather irritates them. Maybe the interference is not only visible for electronic eyes. I’ll keep it off next day for comparisons. Day 35 shows stretch speed has reduced indeed and they seem to be concentrating on leaf and bud growth instead. 75 cm, so we are currently at "only" 3 cm/day. Watered them with a HPE/Bud growth mix again last night, about 1 l each. Well, forget my words about reduced growth. After they recovered during the night, we are at 77 cm for lady #1. Which measured at 78 with hanging leaves in their day’s evening. I must have missed a day number – day 36 concludes their 5th week. I gave them another 2 l of fertilised water each and will lave them for the weekend again. Video shows that growth concentrates now more on leaf and bud development than on gaining height. So I guess my 160 cm tent will be sufficient. For a moment I was worried, but it looks like stretch is over. Anyway, time to rearrange the camera next week. Leaves are running out of focus.

Week 31/3 - 6/4

I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. I watered daily until water drained from the pot (to release nutrients from previous waterings) and I take a 3-4 day watering break to let it dry out before resuming a daily watering schedule. -Daytime temperature: 22-26°C -Night temperature: 20-24°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it... What’s up everybody. So I started to flower already as you see I identified the sure males and tossed them out. What is left is 2 that still have not confirmed whether they’re female/male. I will see you all next week. Where they lol be in there forever home which will be 1Gal. The nutrients are all in Grams I hope this doesn’t confuse anyone.

Week from flip to 12 and they already make small buds

Bud development has begun to form on all plants now including the focus plant so I did some medium defoliation to start out the week. (Despite my attempts to slow the focus plant down with the she stretched through it anyway!) 12/15 Reservoir Swap on the 2 non-focus plants. They received only Bloom+Calmag+hydroguard for week 6, because they hate nitrogen and get nutrient burn easily. Of course all of the PHs have been adjusted to 5.8 like done daily. 12/16 Reservoir Swap on the Focus plant. Shes received only Bloom+Calmag+hydroguard for week 6, again because they hate nitrogen. All plants received an updated LST and a PH adjustment to 5.6, because its been climbing day to day. 12/17 I rotated the plants some to give a better stretch then adjusted the PH of all the reservoirs between 5.8 and 6. A small update to the LST and I maximized the height of the light so its not going up anymore. Topped off the reservoirs. 12/18 All reservoirs had their PH adjusted to 5.8 and I did an LST update like everyday. I am getting close to running out of PH test drops so I ordered more yesterday I might have to reservoir swap daily to maintain PH without being able to test it. yikes 12/19 The plants are looking healthy and the smallest plant has decided to start stretching more so that's good. The non-focus plants are clearly showing their purple phenotypes, but the focus plant is being stubborn.. or not purple. 12/20 Topped off and PHed Reservoirs to 5.8. I used my last drops of the PH testing fluid so I will be doing a reservoir swap tomorrow, really earlier, because I know the PH of my tap+nutrients. Then the PH testing fluid arrives the following day so we will be fine. Don't forget to reup your essentials! Week 6 was a fantastic week of growth for the Focus plant especially. The other plants have really began to show their purple while our timelapse buddy is just a happy ol'e green plant. Perhaps this will change later in the flowering cycle. WE GOT A POLARIZED LENS just in time for us to increase the light to 750w, So now we can do the timelapse with a higher wattage of light and not get weird lines in the video! Overall this week was an 8/10 in terms of growth.😎

Good growth this week after topping and some lst.Still no sign of any pistils which I'm happy about since been flipped from 1 week from germination.Managed to get 8 to 10 tops before flowering.All good and happy grows🤞🍁

Week 8 as of yesterday, January 8, 2025. Today is day one (1) of Week 9. If anyone has any suggestions as to whether or not I should Harvest the one plant, please help. With Mephisto Genetics' new releases there is no picture of what the plant should look like when finished and believe it or not, I am still new at this.

I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Would love to hear what y'all think about this, hit me up in the comments and I'd try and get back to yea as fast as I can. Flipped lights to 12/12 Jan 4 and fed week 1 nutes for flower. Trying the defoliation They are filling back in already. Plan is to defoliate again in about three weeks then drop the scrog net down on em Lets see how it works

Hi guys I missed a week so we are at week 9 now. Last week she was abit finicky but nothing to worry about. I have the same feed as in week 7 in week 8. This week she has perked right up and starting to stack weight on the buds now. The heavy pruning and defoliation really helped as these tops are all setup for big buds and no larf. Seems daunting at first but when you see the results you get from the pruning are amazing. Great airflow and light penetration to all bud sites. We are starting to get a little purpling on a leaf or too and looks as if the buds will be purple somewhat. I’m gonna keep her fed and happy we will be back next update. My favorite strain for some reason. It always survives, I thought one seed died. So I planted another...week later the other one grew. Survived mealy root bugs and all the insect soap, neem oil both altered the pH massive 5 to 9 fluctuation burned other plants but she kept going. She's smells like chewing gum fresh when I grind her up. I only dry for a day or over night because I do 4 smaller colas that don't take much time to dry. Got about an 1/2 oz or something, I trim and smoke as I go along, my grow tent is like my refrigerator , I just take some when I need it. 😎👍

Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.
