Mimosa X Orange Punch is a beast! She’s doing so well and she is growing vigorously. The trellis net will support the branches when they start stacking the nugs on. Had to give these girls some more nutes as the lower growth is showing signs that the top is taking what they need. Only sparsely so not worrying me much but good to note. Hello Growmies, We're now at week 11 with our Epic Buzz, and the flowering stage is hitting its stride. The buds are making their presence known, stretching around the colas in a spectacular display, and I'm starting to see the early stages of trichome production. This glittering onset is a clear indicator that our plant is entering a peak phase of resin production. In response to this, I've increased the resin-specific nutrients to support and enhance this natural process. Epic Buzz is proving to be quite the thirsty one, almost depleting her 2-liter daily water ration, which has led to a few challenging moments. The small reservoir size has resulted in occasional nutrient lockouts due to the rapid water consumption. However, I've adapted quickly, now refilling the reservoir every two to three days to keep ahead of these issues. These adjustments in our watering schedule are critical, as they prevent the water level from falling too low, which could stress the plant and impede her progress. It's a delicate dance of vigilance and response, ensuring that Epic Buzz receives the consistent care she needs to flourish. As we move deeper into the flowering phase, the anticipation grows each day. Watching the buds develop and the trichomes proliferate is a daily joy, a reminder of why we cultivate these wonderful plants. With each challenge overcome and every new development, the bond between grower and plant strengthens. I'm looking forward to what the next weeks will bring us. Some strains/cuts just need to be grown back to back, so far all 3 of these qualify. This strain is on track to run a little longer than most of the crop with the flush atleast a week away but I can already tell it will be worth the extra time. 2 and 3 are on the left and 1 is the tall one on the front right. They have a pungent creamy vanilla frosting like nose on them. All are very consistent in bud structure they are just put together very nicely. From this crop and my last crop only I think I could fill a 4x8 with fire using one of each plant in 3 gallon bags. This is the main reason why I prefer photoperiods these days other than the fact they are generally easier to grow, I like being able to run the same plant back again when they are at this level you cant go wrong. I had a wisdom tooth taken out today so I'm gonna have some time to take some good pics I think which is over due if anyone wants to check back in when the cover photo changes. Rain science grow bags are far and away the best bags I've used and if you want to try them they are inexpensive and you get 10% with the code bangdang. They're all very healthy looking, one has some slight yellowing which should disappear soon with our change but all plants are extremely small for their size.. we've been letting these dry out completely between watering so I'm convinced there's a genetic component to this. We've had a few other strains start extra slow for us in the past and one in particular that started slow and then took off like wildfire around week 5 so I'm not too concerned ..they're each using 3gal square (plastic) pots willed with fresh Promix-HP..they're getting a little bit of Big Bloom with smaller amounts of Grow Big with every other watering now and this has corrected the odd hue we noticed around wk3.. Entering a new week :) Some lower leaf yellowing but overall very healthy. I wonder what to expect in terms of bud growth since this is my first time growing a regular plant. Day 52 - I think/hope that the stretch is over for the 3 ladies. They are still dark green but nothing new as my previous run has the same particularity. #1 The tallest has been a bit low in height by some her on he main stem to avoid any light burn from the 150w hps. She is also the most advanced in flowering one. #2 The topped one is looking strongest than the 3 others , she start to have few pistils #3 The 3rd one is growing with a natural shape, she is less dark green than the 2 others and she's not flowering yet --------- Day - 30.11 - Watered with 1.5/2L of Megacrop each at 1.5Ec and I can spot a N deficiency on the #1 And the #3 so I'll add some guano in the soil to help them in that early flowering stage 😁👍
