2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Veg week continues for these little ladies. Slight LST for one girl, just because. Pretty shape and color for both. So far so good, increasing nutes with each feeding.

Today they're a little upset with me as we had a power outage during the lights off cycle that turned the heater off bringing the Temps down to 45'f. But no worries by the time I checked over all the plants on the tent they where perking back up. They've transitioned into flower great and by the looks of it gone into overdrive on flower site production as pistols are everywhere. All in all Happy Growing

1st week of veg not much to say no feeding. no watering other than when it was first sprouted leaves standing strong nice colour. Gonna be a short veg. Of 3 weeks before I flip the beauty just need her big enough to take a couple clones . Only second grow ever gonna try organic for the whole grow as I already am organic in flowering stage

📋 Comments Zoap by MSNL is a really good strain, very rapid growth early on in its life and continues at a nice rate right up to harvest. From my experience I'd say this was one of the easiest plants i have ever grown. 📋 Data Seed to havest=112 days. Veg time=40 days. Flower time=72 days. Wet weight=990g Dry weight=79g 📋 Smoke report Trimming this was a delight. I let her hang for 15 days before trimming. Nice easy plant to trim. I didn't have any real larf either, the trim is coated with trichomes so I'll do a hash run with it. The buds are pretty damn solid with plenty of sticky trichomes all over them, just like we want. I was getting a citrus smell when trimming. After 2 weeks curing in the terplock groove bags I had a sample (miles better then jars). 1st sample was using my pax plus. 2nd sample was a joint. I'm getting an earthy cherry taste with a sweet aftertaste. This high is great, I'd guess at 25%Thc or more. 📋Grow stats for GDG 22 #1 Lemon cherry gelato=104g #2 Zoap=79g Total=183g Lights on. 20hrs×7days=140hrs 18hrs×33days=594hrs 12hrs×78days=936hrs Total hours=1670hrs Light power=211.09Kw Rad power=415.73Kw Extractor=43.5Kw 4 gang=56.62Kw Top fan=27.82 Total electricity=754.76KW Electricity cost @£0.25/Kw=£188.69 Average light power a day=1.78Kw Average watt per hour=106w g/watt=(183÷106)=1.72g/w £/g=£1.03/g 📋Final word. Considering how cold it's been i have managed to get a decent VPD throughout the grow, I'd go as far to say the extra money spent on electricity was definitely worth it. I didn't run into any major problems and the Plagron nutes were excellent, I'm thinking these are going to be my goto from now on. I combined the trim from both plants to make a hash run and managed 14g of hash. That takes my total to 197g for the grow. Very happy. Back soon. Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Another week of this lady flexing hard! Looks like she's done stretching and is now on to body building, hopefully she packs on some pounds in the next month or so... Smells and frost are coming on and she's just rolling along. I expect another strong week upcoming.

A great week with the buds really swelling in size and the smell getting more potent! Gave it a last bit of molasses and continued with the flush. Trichomes are milky with a few clear still. Super excited to harvest soon!!!

Beginning of week.. They are happy and healthy.. Feeding every other watering this week with half a dose of CALiMAGic and half a dose of FloraMicro.... Adding in some Floralicious Plus along with the MYCO+.. Not on the nutes list here so I'm just adding it in here.. Mid week... They are lookin good.. Been watering daily.. Gonna try to see if I can get away with every other day.. They got a good, late watering today so they should be good for 48 hours in between waterings.. This medium has ALOT of Springtails.. Those fuckers are really getting annoying.. They dont seem to hurt the plants (as far as I can tell).. But when you're seeing literally probably 100,000 every day in the runoff.. I'm a little nervous of any issues to arise. But so far the plants are looking great.. Growing.. Happy.. Healthy.. 😁 End of week.. Whoops.. Didnt get a chance to take any pics.. She grew really well. She developed some nice big colas. A very fruity and sweet smelling flower. It Looks to be very potent. The Medic Grow mini Sun-2 worked great during the grow. It's all happening. Buds are thickening out really nicely. The only downside is that I haven't anticipated how tall haze grows. I've had to do a bit of LST on my largest top bud to keep it away from the light....it has grown about 5cm from the lamp, so i've trained it back down to 10cm under the lamp. Next time I need 2 ScROG nets - The first needs to sit about 15cm from the base of the pot, with constant training in the weeks 1-3 to get the plant growing right to the edge of the tent. The second will be added in week 5-6 about 40cm from the base of the pot - when the plants meet the second net I'll then train the top buds inwards towards the centre of the net. I am also DEFINITELY defoliating properly next time - all the lower branches have died off and I'd like all that energy to be directed towards the flowers. Has to be the last job before I flip my lights.

Second water change this week. This time I decided to increase the ppm up to 600 and see if the plant was going to sustain it. I was honestly expecting a small bite burn but it seems like nothing has happened after 3 days. Ph keeps increasing slightly everyday and ppm keeps decreasing. Really happy with how this is going.

Its smell has changed a bit as well, its not as fruity as it was earlier on or its diluted by all the other smells in the tent, might be a sign I am giving them to much water at a time as well. Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Or I'll give them out to some friends and family maybe a little gorilla gardening project, but I will wait before getting ride of them all as I'm still kicking my self in the ass over the Blue Cindy loss. really liked that plant and wish its clones I gave out where still aorund. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% till flower is initiated then up to 100%, Will test out 13/11 I think as the schedule to give them some more photons for an extra hour vs 12/12 .
