Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Week 11: Blueberry Auto - Harvest Day & Sweet Dreams Ahead! ☀️ Yo growmies! Harvest day is coming for our Blueberry Auto queen! Those folks at Royal Queen Seeds weren't lying - 11 weeks and this beauty is ready to meet the shears! The trichomes are looking milkylicious, like a frosty breakfast of champions, with nary an amber one in sight. So, it's going to be chop chop time in a few days! A quick shoutout to the German sunshine for working its magic these past few weeks. You rock! The Blueberry Auto's smell is getting sweeter by the second, like a blueberry bush that fell headfirst into a candy factory. Seriously, I can almost taste it already! Speaking of taste, the wait is almost over, guys! This harvest is about to get chopped, dried, and smoked faster than you can say "Blueberry Dream!" Let's give her a few more days in the sun, growmies, because next week, we'll be diving into the smoking experience and letting you know if this Blueberry Auto lives up to its sweet, sweet reputation. Day 55! Just shy of the 8 week mark, I reckon next week the Lemon cherries will be getting the 🔪 buds swollen out nice, still lots of white pistils and very clear trichomes, but with the way there developing I’ll have to keep a close eye.. gorillas starting to bulk up now, as always I’m looking forward to what this week brings, untill next time! 👊🏻

Welcome back all, following a week that has been a fairly straight forward seven days or so in Fat Yappa's Garden, as the older Bruce Banners reach day 51, day 44 for the runt of the sisters, planted on the same day but that took a week longer to germinate, and day 42 for the two Wedding Cheesecake's, one growing in Coco Coir, the other in the same living soil as her Bruce Banner Fastbuds cousins. The week began with last weeks humidity issues brought well and truly into hand with the addition of the new 20L dehumidifier from Meaco, specifically designed for the UK weather. However a shift in the aforementioned from the falls dawn of an early spring, to a return to more usual climate conditions for this time of year through things off kilter once again. Despite pulling around 6L of water out the air a day, she was struggling to keep the RH down to around 50% with my central heating returned to its usual position of 18c, but an increase to 20c has taken things back in line, and the humidity has returned to the mid 40's I was aiming for. Humidity concerns during this off period however, and a subsequent inspection below the top layer of the canopy, which resulted in the discovery of quite a lot of whitish, moist growth, prompted a mass defoliation, mostly of the Bruce Banners. I had been performing very light defoliation up until this point, only removing dead/almost dead leaves, and very select leaves from the top of the canopy that were blocking what looked like bud sites, but the lack of light and air getting through past the top layer, together with the fact that now bud sites are far clearer to a novice such as I, lead me to the conclusion that the time was right. Besides the runt, all these plants have not even skipped a beat. The runt has been a bit droopier in her leaves than the others all in all, but I have looked in on them and seen her with leaves pointing up and praying a few times since so I trust all is well. Following the defoliaton on day 47, the plants stuck to their two day watering schedule, but di threatened to need an increase to daily, as day 50 saw waterings a mere 24hrs after the previous day, but feeling the weight of the pots yesterday I elected to wait til 48 hours to water again. The water amounts per plant has also become more erratic than previously, so I have been watering more carefully. Other than that the week has been pretty much plain sailing, and what look like to be some big looking flowers coming up all over the canopy, as all bar the Wedding Cheesecake in living soil are now fully in flower, but she will be there by next week. The Bruce banner I accidentally snapped the top off from the second node down doing LST a few weeks ago seems to be about half a week ahead of the other two of the same age, and trichomes have began to appear on the leaves around the buds. The biggest plant in the tent is still the wedding Cheesecake in Coco coir, as she now stand a metre tall and her top is the same level as the light now. Her size is a concern because it has caused me to neglect her in favour of the other plants, certainly in terms of light, but she doesn't seem to have any more bud sites than the other plants, and for the time being at least, her older cousins are leaving her to shame in this department, but she still has a week to catch up. Lastly, day 39 saw another compost tea feeding, the same recipe as last time. Happy growing everyone, and I will catch you all again next week.

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! She's still growing up and producing new leaves and her flowers are getting bigger too. I'm really worried though, because some of her leaves are turning yellow and shows burn signs. I thought it was because of the hot weather, but her leaves should have been all bent down (this is what I read on the internet). Since the plant is overall healthy, I hope it's nothing to worry about.. I found out that it also might be caused by a potassium deficiency, so I'll try and give her some. All been said, I'm still really happy with the results and I love how she's doing

She was an easy grow and gave me a decent yield. 2 oz plus 22 grams of larfy lowers from the bottom inner of the mainline. She smells and tastes amazing. Very potent auto that has me ripped on first smoke. Made for great rosin as well
