Hello fellow growers, Shy beginning for the Double Grape and nothing much to report. It's growing slowly but surely. I might have put my lights a bit too high at first because the seedling got very leggy. I lowered it, approximately 60cm away (23inches) and increased the brightness, from 25 to 50%. I gave it its very first HESI feeding, see details above. Please don't hesitate to check my Instagram page. So now, we are in week 4 (day22) and most of the plants start showing more and more stamps / pistols, I decided to slowly switch my nutrition scheme. From now on I will reduce nitrogen, giving them half the ammunition biogro and to support the their blooming and maintain / elevate ec add biobloom and topmax. The lowest leaves had been taken off, I will see how much they are going to stretch and then decide, where and how many leaves I will take of. Also, depending on the development especially in height I will decide what to do with the lower parts..... Not sure yet Wether to cut them off or keep them. If they stay small I will let em there, if they gain at least 100% in height then I will check Wether it's better to chop them. Another thing I have changed is light intensity. I am using 75% now basically and if weather allows, I go to 100%. I could sit there and watch them grow all day........ Is anyone else fantasizing about growing 100plus strains at a time????

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music video's 5th March 2020 Flowering Begins ....................................... My little creation is officially Flowering folks!! After stretching upwards about 30cm all tips are developing little Budlets. I started to see minor signs of Nitrogen deficiency from a coupleof bottom leaves that suddenly began to yellow. This is fairly normal as the plant would have needed as much (nitrogen) as it could get doing all that stretching. I needed to feed half strength grow nutes ( professors nutrients) @1ml/L three times during the last 7 days. Now that the stretch seems to have slowed right down I will start to add some Dr Greenthumbs Bud n Bloom mix ( aprox qtr of a cup). The Sucker Punch Autos had some nice growth in their third week. I gave them a very low dose of nutrients with their last watering this week for the first time and they seemed to have enjoyed it.

The buds are ripening up. No amber tricomes as of yet but going to start keeping an eye on her. Cut back on all feeding minus molasses and coconut powder

The stretch is real, they are being fed every other day, 1gal/plant basically. Nice uniform stretch along both rows.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are back!! This project started last Sunday an Germination week was a success for these Purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz from Fastbuds 😍! I went with my paper towel method, sprayed down paper towel with pure water, folded it up inside sandwich bag un seeled in a dark cupboard. Checked everyday to make sure paper towel was still moist and on 3rd day we had all 6 pop open! I planted them Wednesday and all 6 popped up in soil on Friday in my Ac Infinity pots using Fox Farms Happy Frog soil! Tomorrow we will give them a small dose of nutrients, will be doing nutes on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only rest get pure water! We have our AK-47 running in a water pitcher lol. Honestly because i wanted to try a transplant and wanted to see the roots develop on Autoflowers. Also, we were out of planting pots when we transplanted. 😬🤦‍♂️ The pitcher is filled with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. So far AK-47 is very fast. Transplant didnt stunt her at all. So far so good. A little discoloration in a few leaves. Bud sites forming. Weird weather we've been having and temps in the box jumped up into the 90's. That being said I went ahead and made the switch to LED. Wish I would have switched sooner. Temps fell almost 20F. Sure some has to so with the outside temps dropping back down but this thing runs so cool. Great light penetration but not sure if the intensity is enough. Time will tell. She pretty much stopped eating and drinking. I read that prior to flowering they will slow down overall uptake and slow down growth as well. I don't quite remember that from my last grow but I do remember there being a huge flowering stretch. I'm switching over to bloom nutes next week after a flush so hopefully she'll get the nutes she needs/wants.

Our Permanent Markers are promising and we can't wait to taste one of the most famous strains of the moment. Remember that we are growing 1 Plant worked with the techniques and one left to grow without cutting techniques only with a little LST. She is growing with a main lining: topping at 3rd internode, wait 3 internode doing lst, topping again, lst on all brunches. Comparison is the salt of experience so the plant in the other diary will be worked very differently go and see it to compare them. Week 6 for the Oreoz from Super sativa seeds club. Amazing strain, the buds are hard as rocks and explode in trichomes. This strain is a must! I hope super sativa seeds club add this one to their catalogue after they completely finished their testings.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. И это всё FastBuds! 😜В этот цикл у моих автоцветов случился полный рассинхрон. Вы только посмотрите👆 - лимонад вымахал выше метра(что еще раз доказывает, что в ограниченном пространстве нужно применять техники по сдерживанию роста), и уже сформировал красивые одуваны, также цветет 20:1. У cbd crack пока нет даже намека на цветение. Самое позднее время зацветания автоцвета в моей практике - на 53день, посмотрим, будет ли побит рекорд. Хоть и не хочется, но видимо придется перейти на раздельное питание. А пока сделал перестановку, и теперь смог согнуть лимонад, надеюсь его рост прекратился. Т.к. в дальнейшем лазить в бокс будет уж проблематично, таки подсоединил фильтр(еще цикл без замены угля😱). Включил боковой досвет.
