After switching the light schedule, our supposed "autoflowers" have finaly started to show signs of actually flowering. Week 9, what a trip. This grow is full of surprises and new lessons for me: the potting mix i have used for this grow is apparently purely peat (black and white peat moss) with perlite mixed in. After digging into some more information about all kinds of soils i found out that i was apparently growing "hydroponically" because this is apparently a soilless mix. The world is full of surprises 😅 This does explain a lot of the stuff that i've been trying to deal with in the last few weeks: first and foremost my plants were looking like they were developing a range of different nutrient deficiencies. I still find it hard to tell which ones, but symptoms ranged from decoloration and deformation of the lower leafs up to small burnt tips on the developing flowers, new growth being brittle and signs that looked like underwatering. I'm convinced that this has a lot to do with the fact tht this is a soilless medium with 0 pre-supplied nutrients (the light mix does supply nutrients for a week or two, but no more). I've been going really slow on the feeding because in previous runs i tended to overfeed and had issues with that, so therefore only used about a quarter to half of the recommended dosages. So, at this point i've completely switched up my feeding: i bought 2 new bottles of hydroponic fertilizers (GHE Bloom and GHE Micro) and i'm using those in addition to a little bit of plagron terra grow - to make sure the plant also gets its fair share of nitrogen. After 3 days of watering with this stuff (both at 2ml/L) the plants are almost literally screaming "THANK YOU!" and seem to be really benefitting from this new insight and change of strategies.

welcome to one of the last episodes of the BIG Cheese twins chronicles! ...I cannot believe it either, but when i checked her trichomes this morning, with my microscope.. she is as good as done!!(the FAT, smaller one at least) So beautiful trichomes she has too.. a lot of them looked like lil' chuncks of cheese! (deep yellow, with spots on them 😁) But a lot of old cheese too (orange, brown) so think gonna chop her end of this week!(be4 it starts raining again..😎) Its finally sunny weather so gonna let her enjoy the sunshine some more 😎 dont think her sister is ready yet (the tall skinny one) but she will get there soon enough! She is covered with trichomes.. my camera had a hard time focussing in the buds so sprakly!!😻 So the next episode of the cheese twins chronicles will be a harvest!! Watered/fed with 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water, mixed with the above listed nutrients, every 3 days! (Always waiting for the soil to become 95% dry, before watering again.) Also placed a 9" tall pale under the plant, to lift her up into the high intensity zone of the light, for flower! (about 24" away from the sf4000(dimmed to 333watts))

So far so good. 3 plants all m39xgdp photo periods. All in Pro Mix HP under 240w quantum boards 3500k. Middle one was actually from a seed that popped 2 plants it was growing slow at first but is now catching up nice. I took clones from all 3 a week ago. All topped and some lst. The one on the right I damaged the roots on it transplanting but it seems to be bouncing back well these last 2 weeks. Plant on the left has been great had slight nute burn early but corrected it. Also the b52 I swap every other feeding woth cal mag. Will be feeding big bud in 2 weeks and also will use overdrive in the last 2 weeks. Day 7 of 12/12 decided to strip the lowers off the plants , branches that will never make it to the top. May strip again in week 3. I just hacked it all in 1 shot to give them stress in 1 go rather then over multiple days . Hopfully this has a positive impact.

Week 3 starting off strong No nuts just yet still letting the Nector of the gods and FF soil just be my main base for nuts. Also I add some cal mag and PH balance the water. I will probably start adding some noots toward the end of the week when I start seeing some more growth. Week 2, Day 10: all 5 seedlings has emerged from the coco that I've prepared.Most of them are between 6-9cm tall and 4 true leaves has appeared. Been feeding my self made nutrients equivalent to the GH main 3 Floral Series. The coco that I have bought is from a 5.5kg block which i buffered with Calmag solution of 150% strength and left overnight for 8+ hours. The girls seems healthy and happy at the moment however I have read some reviews that these 2 strains BCN Critical XXL & Big Bud XXL are not hard to care for and mostly forgiving on the nutes. I always ensure that my PH levels are within par of 5.5-6.5 & the recommended PPM according to the feeding schedule of GH label instruction which is between 300-400 ppm. The other 3 plants are Landrace Sativas which I grew earlier and 2 has been given LST (Low Stress Training) back 5 days ago and I noticed that the smaller leaves are thriving into bigger fan leaves and thicker branches! I overdid the 1st plant which seem to be slightly overbent including the main stem which quickly recovered and healed overtime. these plants are really amazing to watch them grow. I will be transplanting the 5 autoflowers into a 5 gallon pot in another day or 2,until then happy growing! 😸

General —— Plant is doing fine. Had no issues this week and the devlopment looks solid. She didn't really stretch during this week. Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. Week 3, as you can see i did top them all and started a little bit of training to open them up. For the Training i bend and twist the Stem, so that the plant holds the position a bit before returning back. I do this daily to keep them a little shorter. This is it for Week 3. Keep growing.

Day 43: Watered at 6.5 today. Girls looking pretty good other than a small amount of clawing on some leaves. Thinking I have the fan blasted on them too much. Backed it off a touch and we shall see. Also, my rust spots are starting to come back barely and I think I may up the nutes next go as they are hungry. Stacking up nicely though. Day 44: Busy, no update. Day 45: Girls looking frosty! Think I may have screwed the pooch on one of the girls. Got a little rough picking up the pots and may have snapped a main cola. In the uploaded video notice where its zoomed. Praying! 🙏 Day 46: Letting the girls dry out today. Will give em a thorough watering tomorrow. Not able to upload pics/vids currently. Day 47: No new updates. Day 48: The girls look great! 💪 Gave them a cleanse and just fed with CalMag and Sensizym. Looks like they are finished with the stretch and starting to build mass. Hoping for at least a couple huge colas! Day 49: Looking good. No new updates. I have been keeping a very close eye on the runoff PPM's as I am starting to have some rusty splotches on the leaves again. I have upped the CalMag to see if this helps as that is what it is looking like.

4/27. Shes long and lanky but happy and strong. Responded well to the topping. I tucked the top nodes underneath the fan leaves in hopes that maybe her other branches will shoot up. If not, ill tie them down in the weeks to come

I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the main stem growing any taller and repotted them into 4L pots, once they show roots I'll flip them over to flower. They've all outgrown their mutations but the apple fritter has a slight varigation.
