Temperature dropped this week, rain came, next week looks awful, so we're pulling her tomorrow! She's at a full 9 weeks now, 7-9 for this strain, trichomes are looking great. Will be sad to see her go, but I'll update harvest next week, will be pressing some Rosin, and hash runs late Oct that I will update as well. 530am, Snip tops, fan leaves, wash, one bucket baking soda & lemon juice, 2 rinse buckets, drip dry for a few then bring inside to hang dry. After 5 days, will paper bag sweat for a few days, then snip, super light trim and into grove bags. Will press for Rosin next weekend (assuming she's dry) so I'll update then to see how she looks! Rest will be frozen for hash. She smells amazing, hardly lost any to rot but had some rain yesterday so I'll keep an eye on her while she's drying. Super sad to see her go, I may leave some lower scraps for a few weeks and see how she does!

No nutrients for the next week. Also had some learnings from this grow: 1stly - must adapt a routine feeding schedule/ plan. With a lot more Nitrogen added in veg phase 2ndly - for flowering phase, need to add more of phosphorus and potassium in the feeding plan 3rdly - need to make the bed of soil big so that plant has more space for roots 4thly, - light, light and more light. 5thly - need to research more training methods and improve on them But overall I am happy and I keep learning about the growing process.

Shes growing slower than the first plant I did in this manner but if she reaches 3 months of veg im gonna flower her even if she hasnt gotten to where i want her. Can't win em all.

Another week with 100 degree days and hazardous air. I'm noticing an explosion of new hairs. This is my second grow so I've never seen this. I'm assuming it's some final push but have no idea what to expect in swell. No idea how long it will last. As of Friday, pistals still white. Trichomes starting to cloud. I notice the new hairs having 8 new hairs at a time which means thry still have to grow into a clump of calyxes. Proper feeding is so important. My first crop didn't swell. Underfed and stressed environmentally near the end.

Muy buenos humos a tod@s… Las plantas avanzan bien pero no como nos esperábamos. Alguna de ellas nos está dando problemitas por falta de agua o de nutrientes, no queremos excedernos debido a experiencias pasadas pero tememos quedarnos cortos. En el último riego no hemos aumentado los nutrientes si no que hemos vuelto a las bases anteriores ya que conocemos cómo funcionan y queremos ver cómo responden. No sabemos el porqué pero hay dosa que está como cogollando y eso es curioso, una fast de sweet, pero como hemos dicho en semanas anteriores no somos expertos solo queremos ver crecer las plantas y es algo que nos gusta mucho pero cada planta es un mundo y reacciona de distinta manera aunque llevemos el control de riegos y de más, cada una es diferente, y eso es muy bueno… 😎 Los riegos están siendo estables y hemos aumentado la cantidad de agua, pasando de 300ml a 350 ml, debido a la demanda de las plantas. El agua la estamos manteniendo siempre a un pH de 6,0. En general estamos contentos con la evolución. Pero pendientes de ver su evolución para controlarlas y mejorarlas. 7/17 she is SUPER fucking frosty 😍💚 buds are filling out too. Cant wait to see her a couple weeks from now 7/21 she was getting super bushy so I defoliated alot of the bigger fan leaves

All went well this week, apart from my phmeter breaking... I guess more two weeks of waiting. The colas are well developed, but the lower flowers ain't. But both are full of tricomes.

Flower Week 4 Day 28 to 34 - 3/12 to 3/18 Just monitoring now. All seems okay so far, just a few minor adjustments of the rings Feed this week was 1.25 gallons two times with about 4 days between. 750ppm total before add-ins. I used 750ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds. PH balance this week was 6.5. I plan to feed the same amounts again next week and 6.5ph and 6.6 by week 7, when I also plan to start flushing with reduced nutes and HP2 again.

I have her nestled in between a bunch of other autoflowers that are one month old now so she's got lots of company! Since sprouting the Zkittlez has bee doing exceptional, with good color and vigor. I was a little concerned about her when she first sprouted as her first leaf set had a funky color to them and I feared that she wouldn't survive. But low and behold, when she opened up her leaves they turned a beautiful green and she's been looking healthy ever since! Today I gave her her first water/feed with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/10- The Zkittlez is doing really well in her little Popcorn Bucket! I didn't water her today, but will wait until tomorrow to avoid over watering her. 11/12- Yesterday I went ahead and watered/fed the Zkittlez with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. I took photos today, but forgot to snap a shot of the Soooperrunt. She's as tall as the short one now, just not as bushy. I think she'll make a fair amount of bud despite her sloooow start, smaller stature, and smaller pot. The tall one is keeping pace with the biggest plants in the garden. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights....kinda scary....about 10"-12" from the tops now.. 2/12: I woke up to find the tallest of these bitches stretched another few inches and within 9 inches of the lights!!! I quickly drug everybody out of the closet and undertook the project. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. It will battle with the evaporative cooler while the lights are on to keep it at 45% RH, but after the lights go off, it will lower the RH to 35% unti morning. After another couple of weeks, I'll kill the evap cooler altogether and try to maintain 35% RH 24/7. I'm optimistic that it will be the difference-maker in maintaining lower RH while I'm flushing all the plants during the last couple of weeks. That's usually such a challenge...especially with a bunch of 5 gallon pots. I also sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: Still stretching... about 12" from the lights again. I will wait to raise the lights until tomorrow when I feed them. I'm seeing calcium deficiency on a few plants, including a #9. Will up the dose tomorrow when I feed. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. Edit: I came home from work after making my weekly log entry yesterday and I could smell my grow from my driveway... so I asked for help. THANK YOU OOZLEFINCH FOR THE HELP.. THIS IS WHY WE ASK FOR HELP... I left a question on here stating that my new canister wasn't working and asked for generic advise. He left an answer that pointed out the fact that my exhaust fan might be set waaaay to high... and it was! It turns out there's a limit to the amount of air that filter fan 'scrub', and my exhaust fan goes way over that limit even on 6 or 7.. I turned it down to 3 and the smell got better immediately. ☮️ Still on auto pilot at this point... I'm really close to harvest.. and I'm not even on day 60 😲. I created videos this weeks, they capture the plants in ways that a still picture just won't. My entire house stinks.. my neighbors are looking at my funny, and my wife thinks a family of skunks is hiding in our walls... I've never had this problem.. I even got a brand new carbon air scrubber and its not helping 🤣 Process/ Environment changes since last week: - To help preserve the terpenes I've been trying to lower my temperature, which is hard without an AC unit I'm not plugging in an ac just to grow some plants. I'm at 24- 26 degrees C (75 - 82 F). - I've been lowering my humidity accordingly to keep VPD in a good range - I lowered my lights closer to my plants, turning them up would just add to the heat. - I'm defoliating as much large fan leaves off as possible - My watering pH is at around 6.7 to 6.8.. I will not be flushing these plants - I rotate my plants every day to make sure I'm getting light to hit every node it can This week I'm pulling out the digital scope and doing the first trichome checks for these babies. The cheese auto is going to get the chop by the end of next week.. I hope you like the video I added of it.. it's the easiest plant I've ever grown and she's going to be FIRE. The blackberry auto is giving off a gas/berry smell and is very sticky to the touch. A beautiful triploid... my first and I hope to get many more. The Forbidden Runtz smells just like a zkittles does, it's bang on. Very dense very sticky buds. I almost tossed her during the seedling stage too due to her mutation. I am loving the Genetics from FAST BUDS! The quality is fantastic! But the hardiness of their plant's is great!!! This young girl has copped some abuse! During my training of her, I have gotten quite rough on many occasions, not on purpose! But accidentally breaking branches e.t.c. However I tape her up with some tape & she comes good after a while. I've found that as long as their is still some of the branch intact, she will mend herself & I've had branches that were broken through more than 3 quarters the way! Just wrap some tape around it to hold it together & it ends up coming good. I've also deliberately been rough with HST, squashing branches, pinching to strengthen stems. Damaging & squashing branches to get the shape & direction I'm after. I actually go around & lightly pinch ( squash ) all new branching to thicken & strengthen them! It works very well. So yeah they are very hardy plants & at the end of the day they are a weed!!!

First set of leaves were a bit light and what appears as some decent tip burn? Bucket was running hot on week two, but left it alone. She’s happy now that she’s starting to get the munchies. Most of the growth is looking decent. I’m going to top above the fourth node, and take the lower branches leaving 6 main branches to train. She’s topped but it looks like I will end up with 8 branches to play with. I may remove the bottom two?
