Start of week 5 in flower. Thursday and I can see the buds getting bigger. Every morning I empty the reservoir of about 1 liter of solution and add 6 liters of fresh pH adjusted nutrients. I am hoping the video I take tomorrow on Sunday day 1 of week 6 will show changes. So far I am pleased. Tomorrow the beginning of week 6 I will be dropping the Diamond nectar and reducing the armour SI and increasing the Koolbloom liquid.

This was a great week, last week I Was fed up and wondering if my girls were EVER going to get going!! But all of a sudden boom 💥 They are looking beautiful, I also put another lamp in my tent. The lighting is immense!! I can't wait to see how they respond

Now I see why they call it "Fat Bastard." It's now the tallest after being the smallest in the tent. Sheesh! Black Strap colors are just amazing. Peach Crescendo needed some more light cause of its height. Had to put it on a bucket so it's canopy can reach the other girls. My mistake. But we gotta keep mo along.

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

LST hard at work ......couldn't be more pleased...... at how bushy she is

Yo nailed it down this week should really be end of week 7 flower so 10 weeks total life. Sticking to the plant of1 more week nutes then see if they are ready for flush. Dropped the Bud Burst. It really wasn't working with my tanks and causing a film to build up on the pipework. Flushed mid week with Pure Clean and fresh tank of nutes. Dropped to around 1.4ec and 5.8ph to finish up. They dont look hungry for anything at this point just changing to autumn colours and hardening up. I dont expect the size to change all that much but rather becoming more dense and changing of colours.

Gently dropped in a scrog with the biggest squares I could find to prop up or tie off heavy branches on #2. Used it to spread out #1 a bit but this late in the game tried to avoid as much pulling and bending as possible. #1 finally picking up some weight. This one has more of a spear formation. Guessing about 4-5 weeks left. Super frosty and smelly though. #2 just a tank. Nothing but dense golf balls. My goal was 8oz per plant and feel pretty confident this might be closer to 10ish. I'm guessing about 21ish days. Planning on deploying Winter Frost a week from today. Topping of with 80% strength solution kept EC level between changes.. So tough to do these things justice in pics and videos.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. It's officially week 4 of veg. What a ride! These ladies DO NOT give up and neither did i. Second grow, it is a learning curve. With all the growth stunned, i am a bit impatient. BUT the good news is the smallest have starting growing again. Anyways... 👽👉19/9 New automation program for this week. (See pictures for app screenshots for automation and datalogger) Temps - 21night/29day RH% - 60RH night / 68RH day My plan is to decrease the humidity at night, to increase the vpd. The same goes for my light output and nutrients. Changing the variables gradually over time. 👽👉20/9 I topped two more plants. The growth is gradually getting better. They should be ready for their first real feed tomorrow. (Only top fed them last watering) 👽👉21/9 ** First real feed. -They reacted well to a last lose dose top feeding, so this time i will give them a full feed, but same low dose. -Programmed new automation based on VPD Graf (see pictures) Set to 1.0 VPD. // Inkbird app, i am adjusting the RH% to the temp in the tent. -Did some experimental LST on one of the smaller ones. Dont have a co2 meter, but have co2 bag. But it has not been added as a variable to the climate calculations. 👽👉22/9 The new automation program has proven efficient and working(for now). Now its interesting to see the plants adapting the constant VPD. 👽👉23/9 Did some more LST work to keep the tallest ladies at level. 👽👉24/9 Visiting the ladies and checking up on the lst work. Tucking in leaves, plotting my next move. *Water day. they shared 5 Liter, where the bigger ones got more. PH 6.4 - EC 1.52 (Last water was PH 6.4 - EC 1.37) 1.5ml/L Bio heaven+Bio fish. (Next time they will get 2ml/L) 👽👉25/9 Turned up the lights from 75% to 100%. Temps are about to rise higher. might as well let the ladies get used to it.
