Mandarin XL autoflower is growing great. She is really stalling on going into flowering, but it looks like she is gonna put her first pistils out at any moment. She started showing a big fluctuation in the ph. Which is also a sign I have noticed that she is shifting gears. She will get a solution change in the next few days. She looks super healthy on the Gen1:11 organo-mineral nutrition. I defoliated her and been keeping up on lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant.

A few problems this week... Just arrived back from Paris trip after week and i see, that i have to stay always by The Grils... 🤷‍♂️

Well the suns been out the last few days and the girls are loving it. I think I’ll start flush although it’s a little early for some others are ready. So a one or two week flush and then we are done. After that I’ll chop as each one is ready.

Elas não param. Tenho pulverizado um pouco de agua com vinagre e sabão para eliminar, mas me sinto mal de estar jogando sabão. Não sei se o sabão ou o vinagre reagem com os tricomas. se você sabe, me avisa por favor. Uma coisa que tenho achado incrível dela (a primeira que plantei não ficou assim, e nem um terceira que foi plantada junto desta), ela ficou com um roxo escuro bonito demais e está começando a ficar mais densa, pesada. Nas fotos e vídeos dá pra ver as cores bem, assim como as marcas das moscas brancas em todas as folhas. Uma coisa que fiz foi adicionar um pouco de NPK 4 14 10. O motivo é que tenho outra de mesma idade e que passou por uns sufocos no início (nasceu de raiz pra cima e depois o cachorro ainda arrancou, milagre estar viva), como a colheita tava prejudicada, fiquei com menos medo e dó de testar então aqui eu adicionei bastante NPK mesmo em cima do meu solo super rico. A planta não reclamou, não torceu folhas e nem mudou coloração. Entendi como uma aprovação de que ainda posso adicionar NPK mesmo em cima do meu solo e que preciso revisar a mistura da próxima vez para colocar ainda mais nutriente. Acho que ela ainda tem fácil mais de 30 dias pela frente. Ela está com 68 dias ENGLISH I left her a bit abandoned, living on her own in the sun. It has been experiencing strong weather, heavy rain, strong sun, cold and is still going strong. I still have the same problem with whiteflies. They don't stop. I have been spraying some water with vinegar and soap to eliminate it, but I feel bad about throwing soap. I don't know if soap or vinegar react with trichomes. If you do, PLEASE let me know! One thing I've found incredible about it (the first one I planted didn't look like this, nor did a third one that was planted at the same time as this one), it turned a really beautiful dark purple and is starting to get denser, heavier. In the photos and videos you can see the colors well, as well as the whitefly marks on all the leaves. One thing I did was add a little NPK 4 14 10. The reason is that I have another girl of the same age who went through some hardships at the beginning (she was born with the roots going up and then the dog took it from the pot, it is a miracle that she's alive). My thought was that since the harvest was affected, I was less afraid and worried about testing things. So I added a lot of NPK even on top of my super rich soil. The plant did not complain, did not twist leaves or had color changes. I took it as an approval that I can still add NPK even on top of my soil and that I need to revise the mixture next time to add even more nutrients. I think she still has easily more than 30 days to go. She is 68 days old Dia 30 de janeiro 2024

The growth on the girls continues to stagger me! We have had a less drastic week this week then last everything gone smoothly! Took the LST off on day 16 to allow the girls to continue growing upwards, already bushy enough and only so much space in my tent, but as you can see from the vid the stems and canopy looking great! So many potential bud sites! Been doing lots of leaf tucking, fortunatly nodes nice and close together so it makes my life simple can optimise the light penetration very easily! The feed has been increased to 1.5ml/l of vega and 0.9ml/l of calmag, doing feed feed water. Girls drinking alot now and giving each around 1.5-2L per sitting every couple of days! Stem diameter just below first node - 16mm Getting around 1.5-2 inch of growth a day currently. The girl that had the transplant is loving life and really filled out her pot showing little signs of being stunted, few slightly crinkly leaves but at the time it was like -3 outside and wasn't ideal situation to be doing transplant in, but no obvious signs of being stunted! The first signs of flowering on day 21 but its very early should be more obvious tomorrow! The good times are about to begin :) These girls are so big now its kind of lucky we broke one and dropped to 4 plants not sure there is room for a 5th in there! Día 43 desde semilla y se ha comportado bien, pienso que el frío nocturno pueda haber afectado en la velocidad de su desarrollo, el siguiente riego lo haré agregando overdrive a la Mezcla para potenciar el engorde de flores, ha producido resina de un olor bastante peculiar con tonos dulces y algo parecido al perejil 🤷‍♂️🏽, el tono morado comienza a notarse desde el interior de las hojas.

Alien OG Autoflower grew great, and finished beautifully. Strong smell, frosty, and sticky. She grew great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. It was my first time using the Gen 1:11 nutrients. I really like them, and will use again till I run out or get more. She will hang dry 24 hours then be put into the cannatrol for a 8 day cycle. I got a great grow to try it out the first time. 🤞. Starting week 6 Tent is being slowly full A little bit too hot for the next days as the weather outside will climb to 36-38°C, I thnk I will bring them some CO2. I will check with the growshop. Any idea is welcome. The stretch is really impressive, 1 of them get 20cm in 7 days Waiting for the buds 😁 Day 39 I have now added CO2 with an organic boost, it is linked it to the fan. Should be a little bit better with that temperature

Day 57: Welcome to week 9. I defoliated a bit again. Nothin else to do today. Day 58: Nothing to do today. This week I aim for a VPD of 1.1 kPa. Day 59: Time to upgrade. The new AC Infinity S22 has arrived. Now there are 2 of them and both should support her pretty well. Let’s see, how she will finish. Day 60: With the second light in the tent, the temperature is quite high and around 25° C and I was not able to get the humidity to 60 % because the fan was running to fast and I don't want to use a humidifier in the flowering phase. So I decided to raise the temperature and humidity max levels. Let's see, how she likes this and what the avg. VPD will be at the end of the week. Day 61: Nothing to do today. Day 62: I removed some fan leafs. Also I noticed some days before, that she needs a bit more nutrients, so I added a bit more today to the reservoir. Maybe she has a bit of light stress. 2 of the S22 and at the nearest point only 20 cm is maybe a bit too much. So I lowered them to 80%. I hope that helps in addition. Day 63: Last day of the week. I hope lowering the LED to 80% helps her during the next week. It looks like light stress. W9D1 12-14-2020 I thought Mama Mia looked thirsty however she only drank 3Lt 2 less than previous, she may be slowing down in drinking or I watered to soon TBD~~ White widow drank quite a bit today 4Lts I got to see her outside of the lights today and could see some of that Autumn foliage in the Natural light.
