Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

OK so update from last week I found out my soil is really off pH it could be 8 or 9 pH but I haven't got a soil meter to be sure. Anyway, obvious massive deficiency in ll kinds of nutrients because their roots can't soak up anything with such alkaline soil. I did think about reporting them and trimming their roots but it's too late in flower for that and I don't have the time. What I have done is I am using PK 13 14, Cal Mag and home made spray from organic waste mixed together as a foliar spray per guidelines. The one in the right is terrible she isn't taking it well at all I've had to remove 90% of her old leaves she looks like a skeleton but on the up side the new growth is green and happy so I'm just taking off the old as it shrivels. The one on the left is a tough mofo and sprung back after 2 foliar sprays (once a week) though I can definitely see a PK deficiency still. I am still hoping the one on the left will make it while the right one might bounce back but I won't get much from her. Anyway guys if you have any tips for what else I could do for my ladies to help it would be much appreciated!

June 28 - They are doing great, We switched to the recommended amount of nutrients for flowering, Also 2 air stones I ordered have come in so now those are on 24/7 with the nutrient water in a 5 gallon bucket. June 29 - Still just growing away, I am still feeding roughly 3L per plant of nutrient water every 24-36hr depending on how dry they feel. June 30 - Totally forgot to take pictures/videos today. I gave them there daily watering and they are still just growing away. They are in flower now I believe! July 1 - Awesome to see this amount of progression. Tons of hairs and a decently even canopy. There is a small smell coming from in the room! July 2 - Again I forgot to take pictures, But as always they are still just growing away. so far so good! July 3 - Tons of growth and they are starting to become uneven. I don't have a ton of time so I think I will leave them for another week before doing some LST or HST. Tons of colas forming, lots of hairs and they are starting to have a heavier smell! So far so good! July 4 - Same thing as yesterday, still growing away, Ive turned the lights up to 100% now and I have removed the SF-1000 as I needed it for another project! Day 37 12/12 everything was fine managed to kill of all the thrips no.sign of them now but another problem occured yesterday after lights off. Today i find a few leafs that are starting to yellow so i decided to up the feed ppm also the buds are still looking kind of small to me... are they going to fatten up yet or am.i being impatient or is there something wrong dont know wheather i should worry or not lol

High temperatures and nutrient burn. At this point i have no idea what i am doing. Every now and then SD2 and SD3 release typical weed smell but apart from that no other smell. The stems upon rubbing and touching smell like cinammon,cloves and orange zest.It reminds me of fanta drink.

It’s finally getting a nice green colour This week I changed the scrog net , it’s about 7” above the top of the pots . upped the nutes to 1.8-2 ec. Sprayed with canna cure Watering every morning to about 10% run off Lollipoped an defoliated ,Waiting to fill the net a bit more but will be switching to 12/12 very soon.

June 6, 2025 the apple fritter continued to have a great growth rate just nonstop growing. I feel like this plant grows throughout the night. It’s getting energy off that damn moon at this point but continued the same regiment every seven days given it a boogie brew, heavy harvest tea every four days using pure Protein and soluble seaweed been checking the soil, moisture levels. I was suspecting that my holes were getting dry in fact, my holes are very wet and I can slow down on my watering which I’ve been doing very minimal watering anyways, but due to the near 300 gallon hole size they retain water extremely well Therefore I have actually slowed down on my watering more this year than I ever have before the leafhoppers this week were a little more aggressive also applied name seed meal and name seed spray to the girls, hoping to deter the little leafhoppers from messing with my stuff but all in all week five apple fritter is doing great expecting big big things from her

I left the honey cream outside in a dark place, which turned out to be a big mistake. None of the branches that I trimmed and dried directly had bud rot but around 6 buds that were left outside had bud rot. The mass of this plant really put me to the test took a whole lot of time to trim every branch. In fact I still have a bunch of branches that I'm too lazy to trim right now so I'll do a dry trim someday. Although this grow had some problems it was an absolute pleasure to watch these plants grow and to now having this harvest is absolutely beautiful, a perfect strain mix. I won't ever let them grow this big again since I really don't need that much weed and I think I'll going to have more fun with some extreme LST or something like it and I guess I'll look for strains that will flower earlier and not for ones that flower fast.

I am really happy that the plant is so beautiful. I am 100% sure that in better conditions it can give even more, now there is little time left to harvest. bye growers OKeyyy now the harvest day is 23/05! i love this strain ! looking for the second plant ;D
