wow, she's amazing:) with the conditions she has, this is a super result :) the weather is not spoiling us - every day, little sun - lots of clouds + almost half a balcony :D :D she has 3 more weeks - then I'll go on a long vacation :) everything didn't go as planned,:) I think she needs more time:) there will be a renewal until the finish :).

10/26: All but one are flowering now, and most are stretching. There are a few shorter ones, thankfully, so they'll get moved up to the top of the closet in another day or two and I'll have a little more room for the big girls to spread out a little bit. 10/27: I rearranged the garden a little bit today and checked whether they needed water or not. I foliar fed with Big Bloom and a little Tiger Bloom today. I'm seeing signs of potassium deficiency on several of them. 10/28: I watered everybody with about 1/4 gallon and included a little terpinator, cal-mag, bembe, and beastie bloomz. I uploaded a couple of photos showing some weird curling of the newest growth...just an odd varietal trait I think because I've seen it before on my Candy Cane F2's. 10/29: I rotated everybody on the edges and plucked some older, lower leaves. They are damn near totally dry, so flushing tomorrow. 10/30: I decided not to flush based partly on how shitty the weather is right now...and partly because I'm seeing some N deficiency signs in several plants and really can't afford to put off feeding them again until they dry after a 3-gallon flush. So, instead, I thoroughly watered everybody with about 3/4 gallon including cal-mag, myco/tricho, beneficial bacteria, humic acid, bembe, and terpinator. I let them sit in their catchment trays long enough to soak all the run-off back up, so they are fairly well saturated now with things that should make the roots really happy. I've added another oscillating fan and got the hygrostat set to kick on the exhaust whenever the humidity reaches 55%, so it's pretty much staying on right now. Hopefully they are dried back out by Friday so I can give them a last good dose of N to help with their stretch. I'll also start going heavy with P and K, and increase terpenoid and flavonoid enhancers. I'm gonna give Signal by True a try when I finish my current bottle of Terpinator. I just can't bring myself to keep paying over $60/gallon when I can get a gallon of Signal for under $40. While watering today, I emptied the closet completely and had plants all over the place...my cats were in heaven..stalking each other under the jungle canopy.😺 It really does amaze me that I'm fitting all these plants into such a small space..😳 10/31: I rotated the edge plants and checked their moisture level. I'll feed them tomorrow. 11/1: I took everybody out of the closet and did a little defoliating. I fed everybody with about a half-gallon including all the good stuff.

So the pics are few days old due to there being a problem with my page for some reason. Buds aren’t really getting fat and the girls have yellowed quite a bit since I took these pics on Monday. Still learning I think I just didn’t start feeding them early or heavily enough and they never really recovered. It looks like my yields will be well down vs my 2nd grow which was all organic... which I may go back to for G4. Anyways, given them big feeds and plan to harvest the most developed plant end of this week and let the others go another few weeks to see if they gain any weight. So lessons learnt. Hoping by the end of this week to see a decent bit of vegative growth. I also had a boost in growth after sprouting but has slowed down decently. Plants leaves started drooping down and one edge of leaf turned a lighter green, leaves also look wrinkled, but don’t feel dry. I was advised it was nothing to be concerned of but I want other opinions. Also started a little LST today 2/15/24

I chipped her down. I was seeing a lot of new pistels but I was starting to see a lot of amber trichs. I did a wet trim because all of the leaf ends were burnt and curly. Smells super niiice.

The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. Did the final defoliation to reveal all the buds to the light, flowers are getting super dense and a lot bigger, trichomes are starting to appear. Not an intensive smell but still deeply fruity, she is really good looking and calyxes are turning red and purple.

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. So keep in mind that I will be doing a Bubble Hash Water Extraction with the SDR and CBG once that's done and dried I will be Decarbing it by then placing it on a sheet of parchment paper and placing in over at 220 degrees F for 20 to 25 min to fully decarb it . Get ready for a paw-some treat that your furry friend will go nuts for! These peanut butter CBD or CBG treats are made with wholesome ingredients like flour, rolled oats, and natural peanut butter. Perfect for a special treat or a relaxing snack, your pet will love these bite-sized delights! Last two weeks were pretty harsh for the plants. This is week 10 and in Week 11 I will harvest due to moving to a new appartment. Summer hit with full force and a struggled to have a day without humidity or heat issues. Tried to nail the VPD which worked but I had to run high humidity in high temperatures. The Blueberry started to become purple and the Weddign Glue started to die. Maybe due to the heat, I did my best to keep her alive.
