Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! 4/3/2023 - Day 36 Flower: Just watered yesterday so not much to report. The living soil bed makes this stage very easy. Basically, I'm on autopilot at this point. 4/5/2023 - Day 38 Flower: watered again today with 4 gallons, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 and BuildABloom, Fermented Peach Extract, and Coconut Powder. 4/7/2023 - Day 40 Flower: Plants look great and are starting to smell more. The Grand Prix #2 continues to be the stinkiest and has the most frost. Has a slight grape smell, but still too early to really nail it down. Both Grand Prix are showing some purple in the leaves as well. 4/9/2023 - Day 42: watered about 3.5 gallons today, mixed with ThermX-70, Coconut Powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive.

week 2 : Auto Colorado Cookies in Vertafort So i just fixed my fan on day 6, vpd has been creeping upward the last two days and especially today towards 1.1 , got slightly better air circulation so hopefully the pot will dry quicker from now on. Will probably water 3 pints of water with aloe and cal mag each around 120 ppm, top her up with light mix soil (potting soil aka peat moss) , she's getting night time sprays of amino acids now to balance out the soil pH towards 6.5 , sprayed once with kelp and cal mag ph-ed with GHE dry pH down at 0.1 grams to get it to 6.0 but rain is 5.5 so i pray i'm okay, might do even less ph down next time. completely low maintenance yet she might be the first of the wet bunch to get topped off and watered once dry 🚀

One more week and we're done !

She was a pleasure to cut. Beautiful trim. So far pure berries and gas. I'll update on the smoke report once she's cured. I had a mini toke sesh earlier and it was definitely LSD. Definitely turning on some different visual/auditory receptors. It was nice and long and happy. She's only going to continue to get better. The buds are kind of fluffy but I find that all the purples I've grown turn out like that. The greens tend to produce much more weight/density. I'm not one to harp on density. I'm more about the flavor/effect.

I have experimented with a timelapse setup, which I hope in time will replace the manual photos, check out the footage from half of last week (I have footage from further back, but it was unstable). Day 2: Watered slightly, with way less water than usual as I am afraid of the soil not being able to dry out. Day 7: Watered.

Welcome to week 6 of flower! Things are starting to shape up quite nicely and some of the plants are starting to get colourful! Its hard to capture on the current camera I'm using but my new one that's on its way should be much much better! Overall really excited to see what this week will bring! I will be checking some of the ladies trichomes to see how far along we are either this week or next week to give me an approximate harvest window! Sept 19 2022 - chopped the Russian this morning and is she ever ready. - 85 cm tall and 2lbs 8oz wet weight - target is 14 days hanging min. 20th - LSD does Not get chopped today… we’ll leave that for the weekend. 25th - LSD gets harvested tomorrow afternoon - Honduras x Panama and Panama Red get fed today 30th - day 12 of hanging and the Tzar Bomba is Not brittle yet Oct 1st - day 13 hanging, only 1 branch objected, we’ll get a few more days out of her
