Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didn’t feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since it’s all been stabilised.

After fighting through the pest stress earlier in the cycle, she bounced back perfectly and finished incredibly strong. 📈 The Details / Harvest Report: The Chop: Harvested right inside the optimal window. Checking the heads one last time before the chop showed fully milky trichomes with a solid percentage of amber pushing through. Density & Weight: The colas finished completely swollen and extremely top-heavy. Those support strings I had to tie up last week definitely saved the branches from snapping under the final weight. Resin Production: The frost on this plant is out of this world. The calyxes and sugar leaves are entirely caked in sticky trichomes. Canopy Structure: The earlier LST and defoliation paid off, resulting in solid, dense nugs all the way down the mid-canopy with very little larf. 💧 Next Steps: The grow cycle is done, and now we move to the dry. She is hanging up in the dark, and I am keeping the temperature and humidity strictly dialed in for a slow, controlled drying process. Well it's official the first week of flower is in the bag! All in all not an eventful week but it's always exciting to see the girls start their transformation to flower and seeing the stretch kick in! Netting is really filling in nicely, will be a good clean up job on fan leaves in a week or so. Did a diatomaceous earth treatment because I was noticing some fungus gnats still, had it on for 48 hours and since have not seen any new ones in the traps so 🤞. Added a 6" oscillating fan below canopy, should help keep temps even and keep bugs away. With all the trimming down there the fan doesn't even effect the leaves hahaha. Flower week 2 here we come!

12. April Eine weitere Woche beginnt und es sind noch Babys. Allerdings hat das gailen aufgehört und sie wirken stabiler. Das growdiary wird um ein weiteres Projekt erweitert: Toleranzpause. Ich habe gemerkt dass mich der Konsum von Cannabis aktuell gerade sehr in meinem Sein aufhält! Daher heute day one: thc wurde durch cbd ersetzt. Ziel ist es bis zum Ende der Ernte nüchtern zu bleiben! Ich werde ehrlich sein falls ich Rückfälle habe. Rückfälle haben ist kein scheitern, aufgeben schon! Update: es ist mittlerweile Abends und so langsam nervt mich diese Entscheidung. CBD schafft gute Abhilfe. Ich weiß das die ersten drei Tage und vor allem Nächte hart sind. 13. This big, beautiful healthy girl has switched to flower. Cooler night time temps are yielding some red streaks on her stems. Excited to see what these flowers will look like. She smells fabulous! She was given some Coast of Maine 5-2-4 around her base yesterday, and I have some BT arriving tomorrow to thwart those pesky inchworms.

Start of week 3 - Plants are still stretching and aren’t slowing down either.. I raised the HPS hood because the tallest stems were starting to show signs of heat stress. Hairs are coming on quickly now, time for the ladies to push out some beautiful bud!

11/8 start of week 10, continuing to not use nutrients, started flushing this week, looking to harvest next week, she smells amazing like mint almost, very unique smell, getting frostyyyy, usually having to water 3-4 times a week 11/15 still lots of popcorn buds on the bottom branches as pictured, I messed up the mainline and should have stretched her out more but live and learn!

Defoliated these two beauties and they’re loving it.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's loaded with flowers that are all beginning to get frosty! 9/6- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet approximately 5 gallons of well water from the garden hose. The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are stacking away and the frost continues to accumulate! 9/8- Today, before watering the Papaya Sherbet, I did some needed plant maintenance, removing a bunch of old dead leaves, along with a handful of shade leaves that were yellow. 9/10- Well with four weeks of flower behind her now, the Papaya Sherbet photo is almost halfway through with another 5-6 weeks to go. Orange pistols have started to show up but other then that nothing special happening , plants are starting to thicken up and still have many more weeks to go till harvest. Started to add some flora bloom to the feed to boost the finally product and increase the ppm because will the organic line I'm finding in it hard to get the ppm past 500.

Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I hope to make this an interesting and informative run and welcome any comments , advice/questions or general chatter as we go along. I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .
