~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/3- After eleven weeks in veg the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod has finally stopped stretching and I think that this girl's getting ready to transition into flower thank goodness! Our weather has moderated somewhat with daytime high temp's now in the 89-93℉ range but it still remains very dry requiring the daily watering to continue. 8/5- Today I watered the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod as usual at sunset with around 8g of well water from the garden hose. 8/7- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers from today through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! I am going to add a 7 foot support stake next to the plant to help support her if we should get any high winds. 8/9- I'm thankful for the support stake that I installed next to the plant, then tied the plant to it as we encountered pretty strong winds yesterday and I think that without the stake, the plant may have gotten knocked over! The rain is supposed to end this evening and be sunny tomorrow so I'll be outside first thing in the morning to check on the plant to see how she made out through the storms. Hopefully next week the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod by FastBuds will be shifting gears and then the fun can begin!!! 19.08.2024 officially D140... the additionnal week, have been benefict to this fat lady. as i can see some ambering trichrome on the remaining cola. so far so good she get is second harvest. the 3rd and final harvest should be in 1 or two week, as i will need space in the tent for the camperberry clone, and will give the time to the leftover small and unripped nugget to finish their job. the 1st harvest is dried a d have been trim for total weight of 121.5g. it already smell more fuity that its little sister, it have been put in a growbag for a nice curring. the 2nd harvest give 1454.6 g of wet sticky bud expecting 180g of dried flower as they are more leaffy and have more stem comparing to the 1st harvest. the 3/4 pound is still in sight.

🍌 Guava Banana Auto – Week 3 Update Week 3 and Guava Banana Auto is moving along beautifully! 🌱💚 Growth has been steady with strong branching, healthy leaf development, and a nice compact structure. The canopy is beginning to fill out, and the plant is showing excellent vigor as it heads toward the next stage of growth. -light feeding athalf strength -little defoliation done Conditions have remained stable, and the plant has responded well with lush green foliage and plenty of new growth emerging every day. So far everything is running smoothly with no major issues to report. Really excited to see how this one develops over the coming weeks. If the early growth is anything to go by, this should turn into a fantastic producer with some seriously tasty flowers. 🍌 Looking forward to the stretch and the first signs of flower soon. Until then, it’s all about keeping things dialed in and letting the genetics do their thing!

6/23 Due To The Two 8 Day weeks this week will only consist of five days to get me back on track. SEE LAST WEEK FOR DETAILS. I DID ANOTHER EIGHT DAY WEEK. I'LL DO THIS WEEK AS SIX DAYS. THAT WAY IM BACK ON SCHEDULE. WATERED 6/22. WENT BACK AT NIGHTCAND WATERED ANOTHER GALLON WITH 1/3 TSP Armor Si. I mixed the solution with kelp you kelp me but I dumped it out. I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I DEFOLIATED SOME BURNED LEAVES AND MIXED A SOLUTION IF KELP ME KELP YOU THAT I PLAN TO FEED TO THE GARDEN TODAY. IM HAPPY WITH HOW THINGS ARE GOING. WE HAVE SOME RAIN AND THINDERSTORMS COMING. I NEED TO GET MY IPM UP AND RUNNING AND THE NUTES ONLINE. I ALSO NEED TO DECIDE IF IM GOING TO TRANSPLANT THE LIGHT DEP 10th PLANET. Went back over to put the girls to bed at six and if was still 90 degrees. The water from yesterday had dissipated. The tops were dust dry. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. TUCKED THE LITTLE GIRLS IN AT SIX AND SHOT A VIDEO AND TOOK SOME PUCTURES. PLANTS LOOKED PHENOMINAL! GOT HOME AND AROUND SEVEN IT JUST STARTED RORREBTIAL DOWNPOURS! THE TYPE OF RAIN THAT BREAKS STEMS. I SHOULDVE PUT MY OTHET TARP UP BUT I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD. IM A LITTLE NERVOUS. I KNOW THESE GIRLS ARE STRONG THOUGH! TOMORROW. ILL ROLL THE RARP UP AND SECURE THE BOTTOM FOR FAST ACCESS. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

This Week she's continuing to really strech out and form some pretty nice Buds. I started to Use the "Green Buzz Organic Bloom Liquid" and untill now i'm Happy with it. I am Incredibly Happy with the Strain "Applestrudel" from 420 Fastbuds it's growing Beautiful and starts forming and Packing up pretty decent. What a fucking main cola! Shes got atleast a foot of length that will be a solid mass by the time shes finished! No vertical growth to speak of... thank God lol. Trichomes are starting to pile on, and that oh so familiar smell of straight gas ⛽ beautiful. This lady got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. I also adjusted her feed to a more bloom heavy dump. Next I will start to tail off the nitrogen. Little bit of tip burn just on her upper portion. That got a little over exposed to the light in her old setup she out grew. No biggy though life goes on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

After flushing, the plant was left standing until the pot fully dried out before harvest. Buds developed nicely with strong resin production, resulting in a satisfying yield despite some airy lower growth.

Though I have not used any new grow techniques of yet, I was taken aback when I found out that, my LST turned Main-Lining, when I twirled one of the stems around the protruding twig. Loving how she has taken shape, I thought they would never grow but look at her maturing at Godspeed alike her 5 friends. This coming week, I’ll be increasing my nutrient dosage from 125ml to 250ml however keeping my daily watering at 1lt.

Plant is darkend up a bit more and more hairs are truning darker. Seems to be ripening up sooner than expected. Smells great and frosty, love it. Seems to slowing down on drinking too. The humidity in the tent has dropped dramatically, can't say I mind. I have been watering a bit everyday and not waiting until the plant drys totaly out. Been giving nutrients every watering, seems to need it. Tomorrow I will give it a good soaking and leave it for a few days until I think it needs it. This may be the start of the flush. If I dont see any new hairs grow out in the next few days then its flush time for sure. Cheers

Holy Sunday She is two weeks in flower and grows so vigours. Every Day I keep on tucking the branches under the strings. The Screen is slowly filling up. In 4 or 5 days I will stopp tucking. Topped this girl this week, she’s growing pretty good. Very nice looking plant to my eye.

Day 43. Queen is reaching sky, had to move lamp one more time. Margaret is getting fatter, loads of mini colas and buds, really compact version of that strain. Today - plain water, next watering they will get molasses tea. Then plain water and at the end of week - full blast of nutes ! To me it looked like top leaves of Queen getting bleached lightly, think i have just 30 cm left of height, let's hope she will be massive , while staying low ;))) Her structure is very stretch out, a bit too big distance between nodes compared to what i like or would want to see from perfect plant. Day 46. Queen still has obvious light bleach, quantum boards makes your plants hungry for cal mag. Hope it and later silica feed will bring all to normal. Both girls pack like crazy, really fun to observe. Both looks to be not so far from 1g/W ;))) No third needed !!! Hopefully ... ;))) Tomorrow they will get only third feed in theirs life ... Nutes companies would hate me ;))) Day 48. Queen is super sensitive to Mag, second Cap-Mag feed and she burns again ... Will go water, water, silica, water now. Will see how they look after this. Girls still drink fast, there is no lockouts, but rusty spots tells everything. I noticed that this strain don't need big feed, she grows nice when hungry. Happy Growing !
