Week 3 of flower has brought some frost along with it. It has also seen the stretching slow right down so she should really go into bud production mode now. I top dressed with some of my high N amendment mix and my flower mix at a 50/50 ratio as she was looking a little pale so I figured a little more N was needed to keep her happy. Plus the flowering mix to side in bud production. I have upped waterings to 17-20 gallons every 2-3 days and she seems to be enjoying a little extra water. I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicides and I haven’t seen any powdery mildew this week 😎 Onward! 😎🍿🍻🌱

Week 19 of Vegetative Growth (Transition Week – Pre-Flower Move)** This week marks an important milestone for the Pineapple Upside Down Cake: she was finally moved into the tent where she’ll spend her entire flowering phase. She’s not flipping yet — this stage is all about controlled acclimation before the real show begins. Up until now, she was growing under a 5000K blue-leaning veg light at low wattage, which kept her compact and focused on structural development. Inside the flowering tent, the lighting is completely different: a full-spectrum 3500K panel, warmer, broader, and naturally more stimulating. A spectrum switch like this can easily stress a plant, especially in late veg, so the intensity was intentionally reduced to 300 PPFD to give her a soft landing. Temperature conditions also shifted: about 21°C during the day and 17°C at night, with the light set to 25% power. It’s a cool, stable environment — ideal for a plant adjusting to a brighter and wider spectrum. The second key topic of the week was training strategy. Her growth was accelerating fast, and the debate was wide open: Should she be topped? Should we go for a scrog? Should we prune more aggressively? In the end, the most coherent choice was a clean LST session. Her main branches — roughly ten apexes — were gently bent and opened to create a wider, flatter canopy. This approach keeps stress minimal while giving her a solid architecture to handle the upcoming stretch. Over the next few days, she’ll naturally stand back up, and once she does, her true structure will become clearer. At that moment, we’ll be able to judge whether she needs extra shaping: a light defoliation, selective pruning, or even a late top if it really makes sense. For now, the plan is simple and strategic: • monitor her adaptation to the new spectrum, • watch how she reacts to the LST, • keep the environment stable, • and only move to flowering once she shows full vigor again. So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

She's just caked. Incredible. Followed by sweet smells around the room. Shes a small beauty!

This week isn’t much to update. Tied down some branches. Lowered my lamp for maximum efficiency vegetative growth. Got a 4x4 tent ordered so that I can flower in my current tent, and setup the 4x4 for veg growth next cycle and so on. The sun system 1850 will get put into my current tent 5x5 when it’s ready to flip this tent to flower. Got another ac infinity fan for the new veg tent. So things are all coming together. It’s been a lot of time, effort, and money, but it’s so rewarding to see all the pieces come together so I can grow some amazing medicine here at home. I run 150 light commercial grow myself, and its so nice to just have a change of pace at home to come work on and give each of my home plants the individual attention they deserve. 20/03: most of the plants are very near the end - there has been an issue with two kush - severe nute burn - I have hung them up to dry before the burn killed off any of the buds - will cut later this week and add the weight to the overall harvest. 1 more week nutes - 1 week flush and 1 week to dry. The white widow colas are blooming so that the stalks are unable to hold them up - added cable ties to keep everything in place

On day 56 my setup got another light. I took the Lumatek out and changed it for a second Mars Hydro TSL 2000. Now i can use more space in the tent and the light is spreaded way more even than before. I now got about 1000 PPFD at the canopy top and around 800-900 PPFD square. They are running at about 80 % atm. Each side is seperately dimmable and i can set the ankle relatively individually for each plant so i can better react to the different grow heights, which comes automatically with 4 different strains. She got a defoliation and another place to ripen up the lower part of the plant, just to see if it works. She has done her job as a crash test dummy extremly well, what a pleasure 😍

Topped one of them but it's still to small to bend in any way, at least for this week. Looks like the nutrients in the All Mix soil might not be enough for this stage. I will be dropping ActiVera and BioHeaven and will start introducing BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax. CalMag I use pretty almost every single watering other than in flushing as the water is very soft. Temperature a bit hot this week. The light is working at about 70% right now but I can probably lower it if it gets too hot. As this is not an auto, and might be quite branchy, I wanted to try and make a nicely organized structure so I can go crazy with topping and try and get a new record output for this space. Let's see how that works out :P

We've made it to day 28! - 17/12/20 The girls seem to be happy and healthy today. I won't be feeding/watering them as the pots are still heavy from yesterdays feed. A few of the girls have started to show sex & the smell has picked up a little bit(inside the tent), so I'm hoping to see some flowering begin this week sometime. (I've been using my iPhone as my only DSLR lens is useless for focusing on certain depths, but I hate the colour I get using the iPhone... I may be switching back to DSLR unless I can find a better camera app.) update - day 29 (18/12/20) Short update today. Fed the girls today and will probably be feeding/watering every day from here on out, we'll see though. veg growth has really taken off by now, I'm hoping to see some flowering this week. update - day 30 (19/12/20) I fed the girls today. I need to find a better way to hand water, the plants are so short and bushy its a pain getting in between all the branches. I wish i left my drip feed system up and running, I will definitely refine it and use it next run. Update - day 31 (20/12/20) Fed the girl's straight water today. I'm going to purchase the pieces I need tomorrow to reconfigure my drip feed system & hopefully have it running by mid-week! Update - day 32 I attempted to set up my drip feed system today but the plants are too thick around the base to place the halo around :( I will have to wait until next season to set it up, oh well, I guess its hand watering for the next 5-10 weeks Fingers crossed these girls start to flower ASAP. I fed the girls today, everything is looking good so far. I also moved the plants around to try to make hand watering easier, I had issues trying to water the whole pot instead of just one spot due to plants/branches being in the way. Update - Day 34 - 23/12/20 It definitely seems ill be watering the girls every day from here on out. All the girls look fairly happy and healthy, they're getting a bit big for the 5x5 they're in.
