Going steady this week! Gonna go a couple more weeks and then flip to 12/12. Added 2 new clones to the tent as well, 2x Indian Rhino x The Matrix. Growing Apple & Bananas was a breeze. The plants showed impressive resistance throughout the entire grow, handling stress and minor fluctuations with ease. They responded especially well to lollipopping — that technique really brought out their best structure and boosted the final yield. Speaking of yield, it was definitely on the higher side, with dense, resinous buds that were a pleasure to trim. In terms of potency, the effects sit comfortably in the mid-range. It’s not overwhelming, but still delivers a pleasant, balanced high that’s perfect for relaxed afternoons or casual social sessions. What really stands out, though, is the flavor. Apple & Bananas lives up to its name with a sweet, fruity profile that mixes apple-like freshness with tropical banana notes — smooth, tasty, and easy on the lungs. Overall, this is a great strain for growers looking for reliability, high yields, and a deliciously sweet terpene profile. While it’s not the strongest hitter out there, its combination of flavor, simplicity, and resilience makes Apple & Bananas a solid choice for both beginners and experienced growers alike.

Did some low stress training this week that was interesting just wish I wold of started earlier

Hard to believe the pineapple muffins is half way done at this point. The buds look and smell amazing, brush one branch and you instantly smell the pineapple. The gorilla zkittlez is clearly done adding height and is focused on bud production now. She also isn’t nearly as stanky as the muffins but still looks good and healthy. Overall very satisfied so far.

I think I am worrying myself more than I need too. The calicum defficiency has took over around a half of the fan leaves on 1 of the plants. I don't have much hope in a great yield from this one but fingers crossed my other 2 were caught in time. Have folder fed with a slightly more concentrated spray of cal mag and ph'd water. Whilst keeping a feed, plain ,feed schedule Unfortunately I don't currently have access to a ppm reader so can't say for sure exactly what the problem is but It seems the defficiency has slowed/stopped. Will continue to monitor.

Weather was pretty good this week! A lot of sunshine and tenperature was fine too. See you next week ;)

Last vegetating week, I'll flip tomorrow on the 14th. I got an auto drying in the tent which is the only place where I can do it, so she's now waiting for let's hope less than 3 days in my bathroom. I fixed the light to the ceiling and to the walls in the same set-up as in the tent. With one less plant in the tent, I was also able to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the center. Week breakdown: 2021-03-07: Nothing to read. 2021-03-08: Nothing to read. 2021-03-09: I could finally identify one male plant and removed it from the tent. Plus the other auto plant in the tent is almost done. I will do the switch at the end of this week. 2021-03-10: Nothing to read. 2021-03-11: Nothing to read. 2021-03-12: Last feeding before the flip, still with 8ml of each in 2L of water. 6.5pH 23,7C 1284ppm 2021-03-13: She's now in the bathroom waiting for her sister to dry in the tent. I reshaped the LST to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the middle and I will flush her tonight and defoliate one last time.

Week 7 of flowering. This girl has gone wild!!! She's got BIG stacked colas with huge buds. In the end I had to super crop her over & set up a scrog/ trellis net to hold her down & support the weight of the colas, which I probably should have done a while ago. As it was more about getting the light down closer to the other plants.

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Day 36. She is very good feeling. Nice color as for me... I add nutrients once per week and twice only water with ph 6.4-6.7. I am expectin fats and crystals buds)) I think she will be little and heavy...

Sie konnte 70 Tage Blühen wie vom Hersteller vorgeschlagen. Mehr hätte sie auch nicht gebraucht man spürt eine gewisse sativa Dominanz was sich in der etwas längeren Blüte äußert was sich definitiv lohnt. Dank der Canna Terra Professional Plus Erde hat sie eine erhöhte Terpenen Produktion an den Tag gelegt ich hätte vlt. Mehr Dünger und ertrag erreichen können wollte aber bei diesem Grow mehr Wert auf Terpene und Trichome legen. Gummibärchen mit Diesel Note würde. Ich das Aroma beschreiben:)

I would definitely recomend trying this strain. I am not sure if my seeds were from this breeder but my word the seeds i got were an absolute gem to grow compared to the other plants.

Hello growers day 50 in the garden things are going well she’s getting big still not a hint of purple 😩I swear I’m being had here all other one’s on here are dark purple and mine is bloody green 😂 what is going on? Until next week happy growing and be safe✌️🏻

Been busy lately. Missed some updates. Week 10 just punched out. Been quite a ride, the girls are looking fantastic to my liking. Some nute problems with NL but she seems happy now and on her way to finish strong. The Purple punch smells just delicious i wouldn’t believe if anyone told me the plant could smell mango+pineapple. So sweet. Cant wait for the trichs to show a little amber and chop them down. The buds a so sugary.
