Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. Welcome to the Dutch Passion Growing Competition 2025! I choose Banana Blaze Auto for competing in this contest. The seeds were given to me by Dutch Passion for free. Thanks! These are my first indoor-grown autoflowers. I am looking forward to fast growth and big headbuds, lets see how the Banana Blaze likes the AutoPots! You will see that the seeds werent put directly in the center of the pots. I am planning on applying LST during the grow and gave myself some space to work with before hand. Stay tuned :) Update day 4: a small miracle happened - all seeds popped up on the same day! And by all I truly mean all, not only the three Banana Blaze Auto, but my two additional plants aswell! With all my autos perfectly synchronized, I can now start on a good note into these grows. Soon all plants exept the Banana Blaze sisters will move outdoors.

Day 49-56: They’re still growing. It really slow and it’ll be what it’ll be, if the flower is crap I’ll turn it into concentrates. R3 is looking ok, CbDreams pistils are darkening and the buds are getting bigger. R2 has a ton of leaf, with full size fans coming off tiny off shoot branches. It may be better for a sog where it could be removed and defoliated better. Smell is getting to be slightly noticeable even with the carbon filter in place. Just going to keep running it for a few more weeks and see what happens.

09/16: Fed 30/70 blend of Veg to Bloom to all the photos. Noticed PM on True OG. Didn't notice yet but my OBW (and some other autos) also had a bad PM infection. Light defoliation and trimming 09/21: More PM found. Again light defoliation and trimming. Aphids also found on some of the autos.

Más una semana con lluvia consecutiva y dias con poco solo directo. Todavia un fuerte crecimiento vegetativo y muchas hojas junto a los espacios inter nudos. Esta semana he empezado con fertilización mezcla organico y mineral ( Bionova Autoflowering Supermix + Fish Mix Biobizz - plano Trypack All in Outdoor/ Soil pack). Sigue mantenimiento de Melaza negra sin sulfatos y aminoácidos y agente de crecimiento de raíces (Biolcan Bioroot). La agua en uso ha sido la de la lluvia, pero ultimamente he tratado el agua de grifo con Tetra Aquasafe (para acuarios, que elimina clorito, flúor y metales pesados). En la falta de agua OR, creo que este agente de limpeza hace una limpieza basica sin contaminar plantas y sustrato. He encargado tambien a RQS clips para LST para que coloque las hojas interiores cogiendo sol. Seguimos en un grow muy sólido y sin problemas, pese a la enorme cantidad de agua de la lluvia y el sol corto de los ultimos dias. Jah Jah Dios en el comando...

WEEK 12 💪😻👍

Cambio el periodo de luz a 12/12 y impregnó con 5ml de Delta 9 por un litro de agua sobre las plantas por encima y debajo de las hojas de la planta por el tallo y básicamente por toda la planta.. para quien no lo haya echo nunca esto hay que hacerlo justo antes de que apaguen las luces y justo cuando cambiemos el fotoperiodo a 12/12 esto acelerará en un estado metabólico de la planta de un estado natural con macro y micronutrientes facilitando la creación de terpenos sabor y olor característicos de la cepa (esto lo hice el día después de las fotos se verán los cambios en la siguiente semana) parece que todo va bien la carencia pasada se corrigió aunque esta semana doblando un tallo para que no creciera mas una de las gorilas se partió escuché un crujido y había partido un poco el tallo le puse cinta y todo parece ir bien corto el biogrow no necesito que crezcan mucho más no tengo mucho más espacio unas cepas muy buenas buen tamaño buena apariencia y buen olorcito 😍😋 espero que salgan rápido estas flores que seguro se van a ver increíbles! 28/05/2024 - seeds were placed in a shot glass of water to for 18 hours 29/05/2024 - all seedlings except the Auto Power Plant were showing signs of a tap root and were transfered onto paper towels and placed inside a dark cool space. 30/05/2024 - of the 3 Power plant seedlings only one showed signs of a tap root so they were transfered to a paper towel on a plate and placed with the others. 02/06/2024 - one day behind but thankfully we got our seedlings into their grodan blocks and into their dome with a mars hydro heat mat set to 85F to speed up the process, we also have our 500w led set 24 inches away from the dome lid and will be updating 18 hours from now at 7am. 03/06/2024 - Seedlings are looking healthy and have been given some "Plagron Power roots" liquid nutrients. We shall keep our eyes closely on them.

Hi Growmies, The ladies are developing nicely and will slowly be transitioned from the spray bottle to regular top feeding. I have decided to not scrog the final candidate this time and will her grow into a nice little tree, using the scrog simply for support. She will also be introduced to sugar Royal as per the plagron feeding schedule, combined with some orca and calmag. Hello. Everything is going well for us; we're growing, covered in sugar, and all is satisfactory. We're enjoying a good diet of a 2000 ppm infusion. I want to thank everyone who follows my diary and doesn't forget to write comments and hit the like button. I want to express my respect and heartfelt thanks to a company like Seeds Mafia for providing the LSD seeds. LSD is quite easy to grow and requires minimal effort. It becomes evident in the first weeks that the genetics are excellent— a robust, sturdy plant with a thick stem and dark green leaves. LSD from Seeds Mafia stands out among other marijuana plants. I highly recommend everyone to try growing the LSD photoperiod girl from Seeds Mafia. The clones we took from our girl are half as much again as those from clones we took at the same time from our other girls. So, we'll wait for the end of our growth and see the results. Here we are again, after hot summer ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic and now we present them to you. The first lady we present to you is the Blue Cheese F1 Auto, I asked the Zamnesia elves to send me these seeds because I loved this strain so much in the past. I remember well when it came out on a trip to Amsterdam we went crazy. And I remember well when a dear friend of mine used it with phenomenal results. This strain has a background in me. Great fruity flavors very intense I remember. Let's see what comes out. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I chose to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. Preparation Phase Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). Phase 1 - Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the soil 90% normally. Phase 2 - Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper in water, no. Phase 3 - In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose those with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. Phase 4 - The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. What another great week it’s been , today is Day 39 from seed an the lil ladies have jumped into preflower 😍! Yesterday gave em the trim up of the unders , kinda popsicled you can say to each one, cause we want to focus on them colas ! I need a plant with a big harvest... I guess this is my best option!! Right? XXL... sounds good right?! And it's and indica, because I'm out of 😤😤😤 In glass of water... goin to use lil bit of nutrients now and then... 24hrs later, lil bit of reaction already, in moist paper towel, looks great! I got high hopes, high high, very high... After total of 2 days, good tail, in the dirt. Lil amount of water 07/09 comin 2 the surface, tha first White Widow is a fact, lets go!! Peace Out 🙏

I prepared a total of three pots, as usual. And this time I used AirPots, which proved to be the best option. I've been using them since the beginning. I used the soil from BioBizz Light-Mix. Pot #1 - I first put Easy Boost Organic nutrition in the form of pellets into the ground, then I added SeaWeed and Mycorrhiz in the recommended doses and mixed everything well. Pot #2 - I also put in Easy Bosst Organic nutrition, Seaweed and Trichoderma. Also in doses according to instructions. Pot #3 - Along with Easy Boost Organic nutrition, I put Bat Guano and Trichoderma. After I prepared the soil, I soaked all the pots well with water and made small holes in which I placed the seeds. I then placed the pots in the Grow Box where the temperature was around 28 degrees and the humidity was around 55%. 05/08/2023 I sprinkled a little water on the surface of the soil. Not too much. 06/08/2023 All three plants sprouted. 07/08/2023 I watered the plants with a little water. Approximately 0.5 liters per each plant. 10/08/2023 Watering. Each 0.5 liters of water.
