July 27: staring week 7 and she seems to be preflowering but I’m going to force flower this auto by sticking it in the dark garage with my photoperiod plants. The change to 12 h of darkness for a couple weeks should kick it into flowering mode. I’ve seen a few growers commenting that their Auto Overdose wasn’t auto flowering and I don’t want to wait any longer to find out. It’s the end of July and things need to be flowering by now to finish in time before winter. The stem I broke a few days ago is showing signs of life and looks like it will more or less recover. Update: Changed my mind and removed stem as it was slowing overall growth. Cut the loss and move forward. C’est La vie, etc. July 28: plant has an okay shape considering I broke a stem. Nice lower branches came up after the plant was topped. Looks promising. July 31: looking good. Removed a single large fan leaf at the top that was shading too many bud sites.

She has performed very good with the lst method, nice plant, fast growth, quality flowers, it's a very good choice for everyone who's looking for a good quality strain at affordable prices. 5/1/2023 - Day 64 Flower: Beginning of week 10. Girls continue to fade. Dropped the light intensity one more notch to level 7 and keeping temps lower. Other than that, just watering as needed. 5/4/2023 - Day 67 Flower: watered with 4 gallons of water mixed with Coconut Powder. Seeing some pinks and more purple. Still not seeing much more amber tricomes, so I want to push these another week to 10 days.

Second week of rinsing. The trichomes have finished developing. And I like the appearance of the plant. I place the plant in the dark for around 5 days. Period during which there will be no watering to allow the soil to dry and be able to Cut. See you in a few days!

Week 8: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Weather Challenges The temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week, but intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rain are also forecasted. This unpredictable weather presents a challenge, but I remain hopeful for continued growth. Snail Attack I had been leaving the plants outside overnight, but during a late-night check, I found three giant slugs feasting on my Gorilla Cookies buds. These damn snails just won't give up. I'm seriously considering installing some kind of automatic deterrent system. Feeding and Watering Consistency The amount of water and nutrients remains unchanged. Each plant continues to receive 3 liters of nutrient solution in their 11-liter pots to prevent salt buildup and ensure optimal growth. Growth Observations Banana Purple Punch and Blue Dream: Both strains seem to have halted their vertical growth. They are now fully focused on bud development. Tangie: This plant is still vigorously growing with new shoots appearing everywhere. Tangie seems perfect for low-stress training (LST) and could probably handle a well-timed topping without issues. I had to do some light defoliation to make sure everything receives enough light. Gorilla Cookies: While it’s not growing as aggressively as before, it is concentrating on flowering. Despite this, it continues to gain some height. Looking Ahead As the flowering stage progresses, I'm eager to see how the plants adapt to the changing weather conditions and how they continue to develop. Despite the challenges, the plants are showing resilience, and the buds are looking promising. Update 18.07: Pest Problems Bad news, growmies. During my daily inspection today, I discovered some unwelcome pests. Some leaves on all the plants had white or silver dots, which I suspect are caused by thrips. The Banana Purple Punch plant was particularly affected, with numerous black dots on the top buds, likely aphids. I had to remove two small buds 😞. To combat this, I brought all the plants inside for a thorough shower and removed any affected leaves. I then sprayed them with a light neem oil solution, taking care to avoid the buds to prevent affecting their taste. The Banana Purple Punch plant has been isolated to prevent further infestation. I'm open to any advice or suggestions on how to handle this situation more effectively. What else do you think I should do? Update 21.07 The heat has been intense lately, with temperatures soaring to around 31°C (88°F). Despite this, my garden is showing remarkable resilience. After battling thrips and aphids, my plants are bouncing back. The Tangie, Blue Dream, and Gorilla Cookies no longer display any signs of thrip damage on their leaves. It seems the light neem oil solution has done the trick. However, my Banana Purple Punch remains a bit of a mystery. This strain appears particularly sensitive to nutrients, even though all my plants receive the same care and feeding. While the other plants look lush and vibrant, the Banana Purple Punch shows some troubling symptoms. Some leaves exhibit early signs of nitrogen toxicity, while others curl upwards with no apparent nutrient burn at the tips. Additionally, the large fan leaves are yellowing. Despite these issues, the buds are frosty and thriving. I recently checked the trichomes and found that most are still clear, even on my Blue Dream, which already has a promising main bud. It's clear that patience will be rewarded with this beauty 😍

Day 29 - Topped both ladies at the fifth node and removed any growth below. Growth exploded since transplant and first dose of nutrients. Day 30 - Watered both ladies with around 100ml of water. They recovered from the topping and look as healthy as can be. Very happy with progress. Day 32 - Misted both ladies. Will water tomorrow with another dose of light nutrients. Day 33 - Watered both ladies with around 250ml each. Increased dosage slightly from last feed to see how they take it. Day 35 - Both ladies taking the feeding like champs. Vigorous growth showing in both, planning to top them again next week and remove any growth below the topped nodes. Misted to keep them nice and hydrated.

All I can say is I highly recommend this strain and this would go perfect in your garden.

The ladies are doing great. A week or two more and then I am switching to 12/12. I topped the heck out of these girls, so just going to let them recover before the switch. As always thank you for your support. 😀

So I decided to do bi weekly foliar sprays with the Liquid seaweed on top of the weekly Silica foliar sprays. I can say that I am seeing amazing results the plants are growing from every which way and getting nice and lush. Just pray for some rain!

July 4th - safely into week 7. Solid growth and development to this point. Lets see how she stands up now that the pattern is laid-out - last fed on the 30th; 1gal - next meal is from the Water part of the food cycle; nute - nute - water - amended the soil with 2” Worm Castings, scratched it in to the soils surface - pulled a set of leaves off of each branch, exposing the middle nodes. New growth on each branch. Here we go! July 5th - rain has fallen, and the plant was partially protected. Wait and see if it has affected tonights Dinner. We are in the water portion of the Meal cycle; Nute-Nute-Water. Posted above - compost is ready after months. Leaf / Soil mix added to the pot at dark. July 7 - fed 1 gal of a Grow Microbe, Enzyme and Molasses-based dinner. Chunky dinner had to be diluted… lol grow buddy grow - someone asked about the LST techniques I use: wire, branch bending etc. Inposted 2 quik videos on how the Cali Crasher had acquired and held those curves 9th - I saw an opportunity to make one more similar move on the plant, with the same style of LST training.
