Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hello everyone first grow big bud strain under 600w hps I've noticed that I defo need a humidifier and temp is a little high sometimes reaching 30c and humidity defo to low so humidifier is a must so far they look healthy to me feel free to give me tips or advise thanks

This week I added 9 ml of nutrient per gal of water to prepare for switching to flowering. Grow 5 inches this week getting ready to start flowering. I lowered the light to eight inches which really had these plants growing faster and thicker.

Al no tener humificador se queda un pelín baja la humedad, pero estoy bastante contento con los parámetros. A partir de ahora iré comentando día a día para que podáis hacer un buen seguimiento. Día 8: 🔹Descanso 😴 Día 9: 🔹Trasplante a macetas de 1litro (en los siguientes cultivos pondré directamente en macetas de 1litro). 🔹 Riego con una solución de 2ml/l de acti-vera de Bio Bizz Ec: 600 y pH a 5.9. Siempre en base a un Ec de agua de 400 🔹Abono foliarmente con una solución de acti-vera de Bio Bizz unas 2, 3 veces al día. 🔹 Aplico tierra de Diatomeas sobre el sustrato, media cucharadita de café por cada maceta de 1litro para el control de plagas. Día 10: 🔹Abono foliarmente 2,3 veces al día con acti-vera de Bio Bizz 🔹Bajo la altura del foco a 50 cm de distancia con las plantas. Día 12: 🔹 Aplico foliarmente 1ml/l Acti-vera BioBizz + 0.1ml/l y pH a 6.0 de 2 a 3 veces durante el día. 🔹Remuevo la tierra para por encima con unas pinzas para airear el sustrato. Día 13: 🔹Riego con 0.2ml/l Acti-vera y 0.01 Rootbastic, Ec 1000 y PH 5.9 🔹Pongo unas guías de madera para una mejor estabilidad y desarrollo de la planta. Día 14: 🔹Aplico foliarmente 1ml/l Acti-vera BioBizz + 0.1ml/l y pH a 6.0.

Added video on may 16 for a good look May 11 We are now almost at the end and I must say it sparkles more than anything else I have had so far I specifically took photos and the video using only the light from my phone. Despite the burn marks, she's a real sight to behold. She makes it difficult for me to take photos with a flash because she's covered in trichomes that simply bounce the light back. The buds look great and healthy and are now in their final stages of ripening. I hope everyone enjoyed this cup. I've been through thick and thin with this plant, and I really enjoyed it.Regardless of whether I win the cup or not, I'm already a winner with this beautiful plant. 11/3/21 - Looking really good today! All plants are crazy perky with big flowers that are begging for 12/12. We will flip after the aphids are gone. We will be repeating week 3 of nutrients this week. 11/4/21 - They look amazing. We got Fox Farm Force Of Nature because we have aphids :/ We will spray this evening and look each day and spray as needed. Major defoliation is going to be done throughout the week as well. We got 2 more scrog nets going in. The plants need them pretty bad. We will put one more up, mash the tops down, defoliate and add the second scrog in early flower. 11/5/21 - We didn’t have time to put the scrog up or defoliate. Also, the spray for the aphids never showed up 😡. But on the plus side, the plants looks amazing! 11/6/21 - We did some major defoliation and sprayed the aphids with an organic pesticide soap. We also added the second scrog net. 11/7/21 - We only found a couple live aphids so sprayed again. They should all be gone by now. Light needs to be bumped to 60% and also raise it a bit. They look so much smaller after some defoliation. 11/8/21 - Aphids are gone :) We will do one more week of veg then add a 3rd scrog mid flower to support the buds when they start to form. 11/9/21 - First day of flower will be 11/17. Pretty excited for them to flower up. This veg has been frustrating and challenging with 6 plants. Overwhelming at times. Next one is going to be 4 plants MAX. They look great today!
