Beginning of week.. I only went up on the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion.. The rest, I am going to wait till next week to change up.. The Mandarin Cookies seems like she is right at the end of the stretch.. Still slightly but just about done, if not done now. Both of these girls are stacking calyxes and pistils.. Both are giving off purple stiples.. Not calyxes or pistils.. But the stiples ONLY are purple.. Crazy.. Never seen that before and both ladies have it.. The smells are both already beginning to appear! Both are very tangy already! So excited! Just defoliated a bit more to the Mandarin Cookies this morning.. That's all I think I'm going to do.. Unless I find a larfy nug somehwere.. Other than a few stragglers I may have missed, I believe I'm done with defoliating both ladies now.. Second time with ETHOS Genetics.. Not even halfway thru flower and I can already tell both of these will be on the top of my fav's list for sure. Wow.. Lol Mid week.. Ok so I think the Mandarin Cookies is showing a phosphorus deficiency.. It looks very similar to pH fluctuation.. So.. Stupidly.. yesterday, I went ahead and did a FloraKleen flush in the AM.. Just a plain pH'd water flush in the PM.. And the next AM I went ahead and fed her with the normal dosage I have posted, with the exception of 1.5 tsp/g of the FloraBloom instead of 1 tsp/g.. But it's still too early to tell if it's clearing up.. As a matter of fact.. It does look worse today.. It has spread a little since... 2 days ago.. Which is understandable.. I'm still trying to bring the runoff PPM back up.. Once it's where I'd like it, or where SHE likes it, it should clear up within a week.. Oh.. The runoff pH is like 5.6 - 5.5... I know they say that's ok.. But I have YET to have a plant survive even in hydro at 5.5 pH.. Idk why they even say that's ok to be at lol.. If this isn't a phosphorus deficiency.. Then its gonna be pH fluctuation.. Ugh.. Should've just started with new, buffered coco/perlite in fabric pots.. But they are both trucking along.. ETHOS Cookies smells so dank.. I can't even begin to describe.. Mandarin Cookies is smelling very fruity.. Both have VERY complex aromas for sure! Typical ETHOS strains for sure... I can tell these are gonna be some awesome nugs when these girls are finished! End of week.. Mandarin Cookies has stopped stretching for sure.. The calyxes are already so fat! This is gonna be some nice bud for sure.. Very fruity, sweet, citrusy.. Man, I can't wait to taste her! And the ETHOS Cookies.. Wow.. Such a different scent than I've ever smelled before.. Very hard to pinpoint exactly.. Still short as all fuck, but these colas should be pretty nice and dence.. The tips of the calyxes are already turning purple/blue.. I know the temps aren't low at all.. Even at night.. About 82F - 84F during the day and 73F - 75F at night.. Humidity jumps up and down.. Idk wtf the deal is with that.. But they are both lovin life.. I believe the Phosphorus def. has slowed and almost stopped at this point.. The runoff pH is getting even lower.. Now it is coming out at 5.5.. I've ran FloraKleen thru.. Flushed the shit out of the medium multiple times.. Smh.. Can't seem to get this to clear up.. The ETHOS Cookies runoff pH is perfect.. Going it at 6.2 every watering/feeding and runoff is 6.1 - 6.2 with no fluctuations whatsoever.. Perfect! My best guess is that I left the too many roots from the previous grow and they go acidic after a while.. The ETHOS Cookies pot maybe didnt have as much? And it was able to clear out now?? No idea.. I hope the Mandarin Cookies clears out soon.. Or at least that she makes it through till harvest.. ETHOS Genetics for the win!... On to the next week!...

Week 11 / Flower Week 7: Day 74 to 80 It is a waiting game :)

Today will mark 3rd week on Sunday 6/18/23 🌱. Double the size they all about 6 inches now. Looking pretty healthy. Starting to intake more waters. Each weeks I up the PPM to 1200 within Lotus nutrients sitting at 6.3 PH.

Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! Will post a harvest when both plants have been dried fully an in jars. Hope you enjoy the videos and pictures. Stay tuned.

June 30, 2020 update: Fast Buds Cream Cookies... I have a total of 4 Cream Cookies going right now - 2 outdoors and 2 indoors. All 4 have started to start showing small bud sites in the last week. I still consider this part of the vegetative stage personally. Once I've seen the stretch occur and also see dime sized buds, then I consider the plant to be in flower. The 2 indoors are bigger with more nodes and bushier overall. They are growing on a 19/5 light cycle under a 315w CMH. I feed them all the same regimen of nutrients (Fox Farm Trio at 75% recommended strength). If its raining, the indoor plants may get an extra feeding. We have gotten a lot of (much needed) rain this week so I think I've only fed once in the past week, but they seems to love the fresh rain too. The outdoor plants are 16-20" in height, the indoor are 20-22" in height. I have one indoor and one outdoor plant that both show some discoloration on the leaves. When I look it up it looks most similar to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) and there does not seem like there is much that can be done for TMV. I'm just gonna let them rock and see how they turn out. At this point my prediction is for a larger yield indoors, but I'm hoping for a better flavor and high from the outdoor. Still only fed every other day, should've started feeding every day if not twice a day by now. Also regret not trimming up more this week, the lack of defoliation definitely hurt the size and yields of the buds. As a first time grower, it was confusing how the buds would form and how intense the defoliating was needed to be. Learned that doing a heavy stripping on Week 3 of flower is ideal for chunkier nugs. These emerging flowers were super refreshing to see at the time.

Week 10 The Trichomes are cloudy and some are amber, their production are so huge that looks like a snow blizzard frosted over the nugs! The Plant has dryed after a flush and been left in complete darkness 2 days ago! The smell reek the entire house! It´s time for Harvest! 👌 RQS fabric pots 😎 VS cheap ebay fabric pots 💩 Extra oxygen to the roots can help extend cannabis growth rates, in RQS pots, cannabis plants will not become “root-bound”, which is when roots cover the ends of the container and “choke” the plant. It is a very big problem for any plant to become root bound, but in these, that doesn’t happen since the plant will receive plenty of air, which will lead to the plant naturally “air pruning” itself, and forgoing the roots wrapping around the container edges. Because the air comes in from all sides, your plant will receive a lot of oxygen, and thereby avoid getting “wet feet” from overwatering. When water sits in your pot for too long, it can lead to root rot and other diseases that put your crop at risk. Because of such consistent air-filtration, pots will have to be irrigated more frequently because the soil will continually dry out from the exposure. Still your plants will ultimately be protected from over watering and the problems that arise from it. This pots comes with handles, which makes transportation easier and they´re built with top quality materials, wich make them more rigid than cheap fabric pots that i experienced before, rigidity means easily moving pots around and RQS pots rigid shape reduces damage to plants and roots during transportation and prevents from folding over during filling or watering. Leafs turning black super pretty dense nugs. Strong fruity pebbles and funky grandpa breath smell. Very sticky icky buds Sadly quite small in size overall. Have been sick this past week and definitely haven’t been fed enough plus the 5 gallon pots are not ideal for living soil and my soil mixture isn’t ideal either at this second. Only can improve over time though. Happy with the genetics wishing I cloned it. I believe I have 2 more seeds not femmed to test my luck for this pheno or better.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Day 7 & 2 of the NHLs still havnt popped, transplanting the one NHL that did pop today! Day 12 think 1 of the orange sherbet have nute burn so flushing it out and dropping the dose a little hopefully that helps!

Day 43 - I have started LST as this plant i know won't grow much in height, im gonna use it to teach myself techniques/perfect a technique. I hope ive done a decent job of it. Excited to see what happens over next few days. Day 44 - im very proud of my little plant. It looks so strong after the first day of LST. Definitely surprised with the results. Day 45 - Plant seems to be adjusting just fine to LST i do keep checking it. There is a bit of leaves overcrowding to pne side. I will probably have to move if i can! Day 46 - I'm thinking if i need to do more LST or just leave it now to grow. Day 47 - the plant is really starting to woden out and stretch as well. I need to see when it will flower it looks like it might do soon. Day 48 - The plant looks well. I believe she has started to flower so i really have to get my fan and filter asap. Day 49 - She defo started flowing and i just bent ome stem to allow more space between each other ;But they looks really good. Also entering another competition can't win if you don't partake.

This week has been great. I'm constantly refreshing the CO2 bucket. I'm very happy with the PPM,PPFD and heat levels. Plants are bulking buds these weeks and we will soon start to see some big and parts. Canopy is filled with buds now and I'm expecting slightly more or less than 1.5grams per Watt with this light fixture. This is a lifetime grow light and definitely recommended. This grow is a tight one with good ventilation. I'm not cranking my output fan all the way because I want to keep most of the CO2 and heat inside the grow tent. I'm blasting my fan directly to canopy and therefore I create a great air circulation. CO2 is directly blown onto plants thanks to the powerful fan and there is no chance of mold here since the humidity is also reasonable. Smell is fantastic and I'm not using a carbon filter to enjoy it. Grow room smells like standing near a waffle or cotton candy machine. Plants have amazing amount of frost already and I'm expecting much more. I keep them cold when the lights are off to enhance trichome production. This will be an amazing harvest for sure.
