We are getting a nice quick start just like always from fastbuds. I'm starting this week now with a video of our 5 gallon home. I will add more pics through out the week. Please come back to follow along! I'm so excited about this grow! It's been a few days but I wanted to update you all. The #1 plant got eaten by something. I threw that soil out and started over again. The # 2 plant has a tap root showing and is in the pot as of today May 30th. I'm keeping a close eye on the bug situation. May 31st- the replacement seed for plant 1 has cracked open has a tail and will be popping up any time now! I do have fungus gnats, I did a soil drench with sns 709 and put out stick yellow traps. Hopefully this will do.

Week 13 : Six Shooter So i've been looking into these plants' trichomes daily, sometimes twice daily, they're all really really cloudy, like full white, completely curled in. Some have a slight beige tint to them, so i'm guessing that's the first few ambers ! That means it's time for the chop ! these wrapped up their second week of flush with three x additive flush. To flush you water until run off then add 20% which is just about 4 pints for me. Now i'm at the end of the grow i can say that the full tent is a good idea, but it does get crowded and that will surely affect my yield as there are a fair few colas that are totally f-ed in the sense they are thin, skinny, a tiny bit of flower with just a few pistills... so those are useless and they're going into my bubble hash project, so let's see, maybe i can extract value out of the trim , the popcorn buds, and the rest of the plant ! * Starting this week with a final 🍃 defoliation, the plants responded really great after every training (LST, defoliation, lollipoping), eating and drinking like real champs 🏋️‍♀️ 🧗‍♂️. * Humidifier 🌪️ makes a real difference, through low humidity (40%-50%) we achieved better VPD -> more transpiration -> faster growth, the plants enjoying it. * Gemma's crystalize NPK for bloom, collaborates with the others boosters with no problem (reccomend separate mixtures when feeding). ℹ️ You can see the response on the plants after one day --> updated photos ℹ️ Later this week : The plants eating like beasts, watering almost every day, Buds progressing smoothly, Smells too and the canopy is pretty good in this (0.80m ×0.80m ×1.60m tent size) we are impressed with transpiration rate, game changer the humidifier present.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

DAY 50 Watered with 1/2 teaspoon of molasses (and Epsom) in 2 litres of water. 💧 I am actually probably being a helicopter parent... 🚁 flap flap flap.. 😅 The buds fill up nicely. These autoflowers get a lot of DPI when the lights are running 18h, I think that I really need to adjust my nutes in the future. So first I had a toxicity, then I ran into deficiency. All my fault. I had alot of fun growing this strain, everytime I opened the tent and smelled that delicious strawberry, it really brought a smile to my face. I have tried Strawberry Pie #1, and she is delicious. The buds are extremely dense, and have a very nice pink and green contrast. I haven't tried #2 or #3 yet, but I am very much looking forward to it after some more curing time. I ended up making bubble hash out of the trim, and I got 8 grams, which I pressed into 4.7 grams of rosin, and all I can is that this is some of the best tasting and strongest rosin I have ever tried, let alone grown. I will be posting some videos of the flower being pressed once it is properly cured. I will say that after smoking, I realized I need some more Sativa for daytime use, so I am giving my Gorilla Cookies to a friend, and starting some Orange Sherbet instead. As a delicious night time/dessert smoke, and especially for those into concentrates, you absolutely can't go wrong. Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!

good flowering, everything is stable, a lot of inflorescences appeared this week, next week it is planned to remove the lower leaves. We had to tilt two branches from the middle, as they stretched out very much and there was a risk of burn, we are waiting for 7 weeks!
