Week 2

So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Start of week 2 flowering. This girl is hungrier than her round 1 sister. Probably because of the extra veg time, she has developed more root and plant mass that needs more nutrients. The plant itself is growing nicely, stretching and getting busier.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. Buds are filling very well, super sticky and frosty but looking at sister's buds is clear that Royal Gorilla will not produce giant buds (except the twin buds) . Strong citron/berry scent. I have to be very careful not to touch her because she is sticky like a fly trap and not to shake her because the smell can be heard from 100 meters away. Expected harvest September 3rd/4th week. Beautiful full bodied plants that tower over the rest of the garden. Feed remains on point, humidity and heat issues in mid July weather have caused a bit of fox tails in one or two colas, but I could care less. This will be a bountiful harvest of a great strain.

So far so good, eager to have the auto flowers finish up so I can focus on the photo period. Both auto flowers are being fed full strength with big bud powder added as well. Trained the photoperiod with plenty of lst hoping to start flowering her in 2 weeks max

Amnesia Haze has a nice smell when flowering…this week was really rainy so it’s good for the soil and the middle flowering flush. 21 days to harvest 👌🏿

Growing fast - have the start of 16 cola locations and starting to work some of them back towards the middle of the plant. Lots of training - noticing that the ground cover is a bit too aggressive and getting in the way of light distribution so having to trim that back quite a bit. Also its making it hard for the training ties to stay in the ground. Weekly nutes continue with same mix above.

This week has yielded positive results from the FIM And LST. I topped the internodal new branching that grew from the FIM job as well this week and the 2 extra tops are growing in response on each branching. She is now under a 4 bulb vivosun T5 6500K fixture and is responding very well to the light changes. Her stems are begging to give off terpines when rubbed. She smells of tart sweet lemons and diesel fuel haha. I am very happy about this grow and am expecting preflower to begin soon.

Girls started growing so fast due to the Aloe Vera Juice I had to flop them into flower early. They are just reeking of 🍋 right now smells like I'm in a lemon orchard. I think they are about done the transition. Hope they don't stretch much more.

Week 9 is all finished up for the Blueberry Pie. The colors on this plant are absolutely amazing and the entire plant is now covered in trichomes. Still a few white hairs but any day now she will be ready to chop. Can't wait to do the final smoke test on this one.
