I wanted to title this weeks grow "How Big Are Your Balls? (root balls that is, lol)". I've been wanting to post pictures and video of the root balls for a while now, so today's the day! The temperature has been dropping here, so the plants are getting much less heat stress. In a couple of weeks the temperature should be down into the 60's and 70's during the day and all will be good.

Week 2 of veg. In the books and if was only half the week. We flipped to flower a few days ago now and they’ve all started the stretch in earnest. #2 was pistoling heavy during the rooting stage and appears to have caught some pollen prior to reveg. Not sure how that’s gonna translate later on to be honest. #1 is still stretchy as hell and probably gonna need a supercrop at some point soon. They’re all growing with renewed vigour now and we’re well positioned for a great flower cycle. Interesting to see how quickly they develop over the next week in comparison to their parents. Other than that - alls well and somewhat boring with this grow. Exactly the way we like it👌. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.

Work in progress however I finally was able to get the girls into the drip system. They have recovered nicely from the light burn but unfortunately I lost one of the girls. Now I am working with 4 and so far happy with the results. I am waiting on a better light, I ordered a 720 watt bar style light from Alibaba which will arrive in just a few weeks hopefully before flower. Still need to get the room in order so more to come on improvements. Switched to Gen Hydro Maxi Series just for the simplicity. We will see how this goes.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. This week was so mixed with the ladies and the heat issue we had this week. Cherry Bomb seemed to be the only one who didn't care that it got hot the rest have burned leaves from the heat. But they all are bouncing back and should be looking better over the next week.

Week 2 – Stretching the Limits The stretch hit much harder than expected this week. Some of the highest headbuds were also removed to prevent them from growing directly into the LEDs and bleaching later on. Hopefully, the vertical stretch will slow down soon and the plant will start focusing more of its energy on flower development. Apart from the height issue, everything is looking good. The upper canopy remains very green and healthy, and by the end of flowering week two, Crimson Clay is already showing some very promising early flower formation. Now the goal is to keep the canopy under control and let the remaining tops develop properly without further major intervention. Jetzt geht es vor allem darum, die Höhe unter Kontrolle zu halten und die verbleibenden Tops ohne weitere größere Eingriffe sauber entwickeln zu lassen.
