This week went well. I continued with the slightly feeding schedule (CalMag + Micro + Grow + Bloom). Today I have cleared the growth below the net a bit and took some clones from all plants to preserve the phenotypes. Let's go in to the final week of VEG!

I forgot to setup the cam for week two after adjusting the height. Oh well maybe next week. Ghetto lights again, full spectrum with some FL. LED has a 2400RPM fan on a 5LBs heat-sink it gets hot AF like 400 watts all lights from the wall. Three Types of White Light-emitting Diodes on same grow warm, neutral, and cool, with 11%, 19%, and 28% blue light, respectively. Overall, the low blue light from warm white LEDs increased stem elongation and leaf expansion, whereas the high blue light from cool white LEDs resulted in more compact plants. Initial growth under cool white LEDs should promote the growth of short, sturdy hypocotyls. Subsequent transition to warm white LEDs should promote leaf expansion. Finally, after canopy closure, cool white LEDs should be used again to prevent excessive stem elongation. These effects could also be obtained by modulating the electrical current to red and blue monochromatic LEDs, achieving different blue ratios without the requirement for two sets of LEDs. Cool white LEDs may be the light source of choice because their high percentage of blue light (25%) means that they can meet the blue light requirements for normal development, even at low PPFs. Furthermore, measurements indicate that cool white LEDs are more electrically efficient than the neutral and warm white LEDs. The efficiency of LEDs is rapidly increasing and is approaching the efficiency of HPS lamps.

Hey! At last the day of the harvest arrived. Before that, I stopped watering the plant 4 days ago, and turned off the lights 2 days ago. As for questionable techniques, I adhere to the principle - if it doesn’t get worse, why not try?😄 So, I put the harvested crop in a dark ventilated box, for about 10 days, I will observe. p.s. Been a great week, not much to say on the dynomyco as it's early stages but im sure to see major improvement over the next week! I will say at this early stage though I do have alot of stable new growth so shows something is working in them roots but as for my females now, wow it's already shown it's work there as I used it on transfer and mixed Into the medium of the rear females so I'm impressed being a first time user! I will say i have learned alot about it following ari and the firebudz team on Instagram, so if anyone needs any pointers check them out they run classes too! Recovery from pruning n 2nd topping. Waiting for 3 weeks for 3rd topping. Planning to transfer the plant for flowering

As of day 28, the Blue Dream'Matic has been growing very vigorously with tons of branching. I have added to the plant's timelapse to include the previous weeks growth. I have begun training it wide, and considering it is not yet in its flowering stretch, it will be a pretty good sized auto. I am sticking with around 1.2ms/cm during fertigation as any higher than that produces leaf tip issues for this plant. Any lower leaf issues seem to have stopped and all the new growth is healthy. Its very close to switching over to flowering, so I will be transitioning the nutrients and updating the diary to reflect that. Thanks for reading! 👍🌱 Day 30: flowering has begun. 2020-02-18 (Day 81) - I spoke too soon. This girl is stretching WAYYYY more than any other girl in the tent, I have to raise 1 light daily it seems. All in all even with the asymmetry this is the most beautiful plant I've grown. As stated in my other journals my heater crapped out and I am not buying another one so she'll have to deal with the cold night time temps. Hopefully the stretching slows down and she can start putting all her energy towards bud development. This is the thirstiest of all the other plants in the tent drinking roughly 1 gal every other day. Stay tuned to see this girl develop!

Well we are at the end of week 2 and this gorilla cookies is doing well. I topped her on day 10 and it didn't slow her down at all. I attempted to start a little training on day 13 and that didn't go as planned. One of the mains snapped clean off as soon as I put pressure on it. Oops! She wasn't ready... Oh well, we are still early enough in the game that she should be able to overcome my brutality 👹. Other than that she is growing well and looking pretty happy. I'm hoping to get them moved into a better room in the next week or so when I can free up some space. Still giving them 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation.
