D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room.

D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature.

D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days.

D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet.

D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky.

D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches.

D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong.

Hello This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering.
This plant has got a few spots of White Powdery Mildew - WPM -
See the bottom pics - I found this a couple of years ago... and it works.
So I will probably go 1 more week of flowering and 1 week of flushing then harvest.
I think I'll try my Oreck air cleaner in here at nights.
The greenhouse is open through the day, but closed up at night, That is when I'll use it.

Hello again, dear growers! 🌱👋
We’ve officially stepped into Week 10 of this wild and fragrant journey! Last week ended with a little makeover for the girls—I defoliated about 30-40% of the leaves again. ✂️ The Gorilla decided to keep me on my toes by showing some nutrient deficiencies on her leaves—guess she didn’t get enough food after the flush. 🍌🌿 (Lesson learned: don’t keep a Gorilla hungry!)
Now, let’s talk about Runtz! 😍 She’s an absolute queen—so photogenic that even my struggling phone can’t capture her real beauty. 📸✨ She’s forming into one giant, luscious bud, and her fragrance is something else entirely! 🕵️♂️ The carbon filter is fighting the good fight, but if the room isn’t aired out every 8-9 hours, a little aroma starts sneaking through.
But opening the tent… oh, my friends, that’s where the magic happens! 🌬️💫 The aroma is intoxicating—imagine diving headfirst into a field of flowers while bees whisper secrets in your ears. 🌺🐝 I just sit there, enchanted, savoring the smell, and staring at these beauties like a hypnotized gardener. Honestly, it’s hard to walk away. 😂

Now, for the not-so-great news…
I’m struggling with humidity levels—daytime sits around 65-77%, and at night, it can climb to a stubborn 80%. 🌫️ Temperature-wise, it’s 23-25°C during the day and drops to a cool 16-18°C at night. ❄️🔥
Despite the challenges, the endgame is near, and I’m savoring every moment of this grow! 🌟 🙌 Happy growing, everyone! 🌱🔥

7/18: I was a little worried about the girls over the weekend because they started drooping and the leaves twisting. I gave them a good feeding of Big Bloom and they've completely bounced back. I switched them over to 12/12 Sunday night and lifted the lights a bit. So far... extremely happy with this grow. Best one yet so far. 😍😍
7/19: The bf did another large defoliation. I'm crying. Buwahhahaha jk... I hate it but of course I know it has to be done.
7/21: Of course my girls have already bounced back like the bf hadn't even touched them. They're doing pretty awesome right now. I'm very happy. I lifted the lights up some but boosted their power SLIGHTLY. Will be alternating Big Bloom, pH'ed water only, Calmag, pH'ed water only Calmag, pH'ed water only, Big Bloom for the duration of flower until a few weeks before harvest then pH'ed water only for flushing purposes before the harvest. 😊😚
7/23: The girls are thriving with my feeding, watering and calmag schedule. I'd attempted to tuck some of the branches again under the net but they aren't having it. They popped themselves right back free lololol 😍👊

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

This week went pretty good! I did some light defoliation, and I also had to tie up some colas for support, as they started drooping towards the floor as the buds begin to bulk up finally. I believe I have another week or two at most for them to bulk, then it will be time to flush. The pictures really do not show how this pig is taking over my little 4x4. I never thought one auto could damn near fill a 4X4, but little miss piggy is trying. The more I feed this hog, the hungrier she gets. I also started feeding her some PK booster last week. I believe my plan to rotate these autos will work out well, as there is absolutely no way I could fit 4 autos in my tent at once nearing the end of flower. I am very excited to see what this lady can do in the next few weeks! Thank you for stopping by, and all the encouragement and support!

At 95 days from seed, 40 days into bloom, she is still drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. I am noticing new pistils being made on buds that otherwise look 3 weeks away from being ready to harvest. They were mostly observed on the highest parts of the highest kolas. This is probably a sign of light stress as it only the parts closest to the light. As I noted, my canopy height isn't very uniform. There is 8-10" of difference between the top of my highest kola and the top of my lowest kola that I wouldn't consider popcorn bud. I raised the light up so it was 16" above the highest kola. This means that its 24" to the lowest. Before I raised up my light, it was probably less than 12" from it to the highest kola. Not ideal but that is the result of not using a SCROG screen and my less-than-perfect training. I think I was stressing the highest kolas with light that was too intense. I've seen pictures of seriously deformed kolas before and I'm not that bad yet. I hope the shape of my buds remains typical and new pistil creation stops or slows. The light was probably too close. I don't think I did serious, long-term damage.
At 98 days from seed, 43 days into bloom, she is still drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. Not much to report today. She is filling out and looks more and more frosty everyday. Her smell is mild but really nice. The breeder's description of her sweet fruity smell is spot on The buds that were not closest to the light are looking like they are a few weeks from harvest. The buds that were closest to the light still have the new pistils that don't look anywhere close to harvest. It is high summer so temps are slightly higher than I'd like but it is all working out acceptably. Not much to do but keep changing the reservoir, watching her put on weight and waiting.

the plants are using a lot of water. having to top up the res every other day or so. i need a bigger res.
they are in full flower and have gotten very stinky. the smell is amazing. i can’t wait to try it out.
buds are solid and getting fatter. looking good. business as usual.

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred.
I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼.
My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash.
After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity.
I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways.
I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar.
The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell.
So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂.
Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others.
The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things.
Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

Germination: wet cotton pads in a zipper plastic bag.
That's my third grow, got a much bigger 5x5 tent and a new LSD light.
Reminder to myself: NEVER EVER try to grow seedlings in PEAT POTS!
If they are covered by humidity domes - they are constantly moist and could get mold.
If not covered - they suck all the moisture from the soil!
Plus, peat is highly acidic: (pH 3.5-4.5)
26/10/22 A couple of seedlings almost died in 25C/60% conditions after not watering for 24 hours. Withered severly!
Repotted immediately.

J ai passé ces Unicorn Sherbert 🦄🌈 @CultclassicSeeds en flo apres juste 3 semaines de croissance.Je n'ai pas trop l habitude d avoir une si petite croissance mais comme dans la tente j ai 3 pieds qui ont beaucoup plus de croissance que d habitude je me dis qu il y aura une bonne moyenne dans la tente.
Les plantes en elle même sont magnifique avec de très grande feuilles d un vert profond .Elles sont toutes les deux bien marqué comme hybride Indica le stretch ça bientôt commencer.Mais je croise les doigts demain j ai ma tente XxL qui arrive Avec ma nouvelle lampe temps attendu FC E6500,💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥grâce à cette lumière 💡☀️je compte que mes Unicorn s ressemble a Pegasus et s Envolent en galopant 😁😁😁😁
🌈🦄24/09 Les unicorns ont galopé vers de nouvelle contrée .Et elles se sont installées dans une tente beaucoup plus grand et avec une meilleure lumière un véritable bonheur.🦄🌈.
A côté des autres génétiques leur tige principale est énorme grosse comme mon pouce .C est impressionnant pour le peu de croissance qu elles ont eût
25/09 Encore une journée de passer apr s le passage en 12/12 J ai deux phénos différents les différences commencent à se marquer .Une beaucoup plus touffue que l autre donc je vais les appeler #1 et #2.La plus touffue est #2.
Sinon elles ont des feuilles énormes avec un vert éclatant.

Had a ton of rain and wind this week, she handled it like a champ, much needed for everything, short lived though. Back to hot and Sunny for at least the next 2 weeks. Flowering is sloooowly coming along, feels like a lot longer this year, or I'm just impatient. 70/30 top dress of Gaia Green PB to AP this week, not sure how much she needs it. Some very minor ant activity after all the rain washed away the DE, reapplied light application.
Haven't been doing any trimming or defoliating this week, barely even lost any leaves on its own, on 2 hrs of drip every 3 days still. She has to be the most maintenance free grow I've ever had. Already have tons of compost going to add to the Hugel next year. On that note, no idea how i'm going to remove that trunk and root system to replant in it next year, any suggestions? Wait till spring then try and dig it up?
