D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room.

D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature.

D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days.

D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet.

D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky.

D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches.

D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong.

My dark phoenix makes me very happy with its growth and development .. this very peculiar bole is seen by its appearance and characteristic leaves ..
I think I understood why she was called a phoenix)) each tip of a branch where leaves have just recently blossomed, looks like a bird, like a phoenix) take a closer look at some of the photos, this is clearly a view))

Start of week 2 of flowering, both girls were drooping heavily and the medium was dry and pots were very light feeling. Removed the worst leaves from each plant and a few large fan leaves. Overall, I'm very happy with the weeks growth and development.

Too much N is observed and also some heat as there is an heatwave again and inside the tent it was around 31 c°, i only used half dosis of iguana grow in a light mix and it still seems to be too much, the ppm was around 380 so not sure if its just heat stress, but i think they will be fine, i will just only give water the next week and apply some slow absorbing nutrients on the top of the soil, something like guanokalong or biobloom, im sure they will be fine 😁

Disclaimer: This is the second plant go back a week to see a purple wonder full of fantastic trichomes that you can't miss.
Let's be clear this Slurricane is a masterpiece of genetics, this time in a "normal" green color but still full of yield and with very high quality buds. It seems once again to be in California with Snoop making Bluntz of Slurricane.
Technique used // In this case we only cleaned the plant at the bottom and let it grow free and happy to preserve the main cola.
Better with the techniques or normally? This time we have two very different phenotypes, a plant with medium internodal distance. This time I prefer the purple plant worked with the techniques is breathtaking.
Flower quality // From one to 10 stars 10. The plant has an abundant resin it really seems to see the best Californian flowers. I'm not kidding. They are combative flowers, they will probably go to some competition, so we washed the buds. If you don't know how to do it, there is a great article on Zamnesia.

Fertilizzanti// I am quite satisfied with how I managed to clean the plant, I did two big flushes of 50 liters and let it run and then just watered for a few days. It discolored a little but it was time to harvest, I gave 52 hours of darkness.

Brother, if you are a stubborn "I don't put anything in it" type, use additives, listen every now and then... and then come and tell me.

Start of week 9! The buds are really starting to swell and look more spectacular every day! The smell is intensely fruity too! I reckon about two more weeks and it’ll be time! Last feeding before flush!

The war against mildew rages on. I will not lose. We are almost to the finish line... Stay tuned!! The second PK plant - the green one - is not suffering the mildew infection, the buds are huge and fat! Its a real trade-off and the purple PK is not easy to grow.

Last week before harvest. I started checking the trichomes and they are looking amazing. Cloudy, milky big mushroom head tricks. Not so much amber yet but I feel that will change pretty quickly with the temp drop. I will keep checking them daily and when I feel there's a good ratio between amber and cloudy I will harvest. I think im going to try the 48 hour darkness method. I've also heard of splitting the stalk and taping it up to stress it out a little bit. If anyone has tried this method and has experience with it let me know down in the comments. Big frosty buds with an incredible powerful aroma. Such beautiful plants all around. 🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸 – Mother Gorilla – Vegetative Stage – Week 4
The plant has recovered from last week’s defoliation, although I have noticed a slight decrease in its vigor. I believe this is normal, but it’s still progressing and growing.
Environmental Conditions
• Humidity: 70%
• Temperature: ~78.8°F
• pH Level: Still between 5.8 and 6.2; it had slightly increased, so I adjusted it back down to 5.8
• VPD: Still between 0.4 and 0.8, which is fine
Most of the heavy work was done last week, so this week has been more about maintaining progress. I’m continuing to train the plant using the SCROG method, carefully tucking branches underneath the net whenever possible. I also did a light defoliation to maximize light penetration for the new developing branches that are forming new growth sites.
I’m still waiting for my new nutrients, which should arrive this week. That means I’ll finally be able to switch to a proper nutrient solution. So far, I’ve only been using Formulex, which has worked fine, but I believe it’s now time to transition to proper vegetative nutrients.
Regarding the roots, they still seem to be developing well (secondary rootlets).
For now, everything is going smoothly. The plant has recovered from defoliation and, most importantly, from topping. I will continue training it carefully, and we’ll see how it evolves over the coming week.

La plante a récupéré de la défoliation de la semaine dernière, même si je note quand même une diminution de sa vigueur. Je pense que c’est normal, mais elle continue d’évoluer et de pousser.
Constantes environnementales
• Humidité : 70%

• pH : Toujours entre 5.8 et 6.2 ; il avait un peu augmenté, donc je l’ai redescendu à 5.8
• VPD : Toujours entre 0.4 et 0.8, donc tout est bon
Le gros du travail ayant été fait la semaine dernière, cette semaine est surtout consacrée au suivi et à l’entretien. Je continue tranquillement le palissage avec le SCROG, en replaçant les branches sous le filet lorsque c’est possible. J’ai aussi fait une légère défoliation pour maximiser la pénétration de la lumière sur les nouvelles petites branches qui forment de nouveaux sites de croissance.
J’attends toujours mes nouveaux nutriments, qui devraient arriver cette semaine. Je vais enfin pouvoir passer sur une véritable solution nutritive. Jusqu’à présent, j’ai uniquement utilisé Formulex, ce qui convenait, mais je pense qu’il est maintenant temps de passer aux engrais de croissance.
Concernant les racines, elles ont l’air de bien se développer (radicelles secondaires).
Pour l’instant, tout suit son cours. La plante a bien récupéré de sa défoliation et surtout de son topping. Je vais poursuivre le palissage tranquillement et on va suivre son évolution jusqu’à la semaine prochaine.
Hâte d’être à la semaine prochaine, on va suivre ça de près.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.
