The seeds have germinated after around 59 hours to be exact very strongly I started to germinate the seeds on January 12th however it was 00:00 Am so it's almost like saying January 13th, the 2 out of 2 seeds have germinated very well without any problem! The weather was really bad this week, I'm still waiting for the summer to start... The plants struggle to grow properly with such little light. They have only between 3 and 4 nodes and no real lateral branches. The first pistils are already there for most of them. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake are a bit bigger then the others that's why I only watered 2 out of 4 this week. My tiny pot grow from last year on the same window gave me a better results so far so I don't expect much from this grow now. I will probably have a few tiny buds in the end, let's see. The week ends Sunday Mar-1, being day 61 of flowering since flipping the light. From first pistils shown, it's day 45 which is a more accurate snapshot of where the plants actually are in their maturity. The buds development is progressing albeit slowly and trichomes are still clear across the canopy with lots of frost on the sugar leaves. The buds have beautiful structure and quite fluffy. Swelling has started on some calyxes. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with single daily fertigation at lights on - watering 3L per day. Fertigation pH target is 5.9-6.2 whilst flowering. Stopped the practice of fertigating at lights off due to the springtales infestation. Need to allow at least 2-4hrs of lights on period after fertigation. The coco is not dry but still damp on the surface after 24hrs from fertigation. Trying to maintaining an average RH in the space at 50% but it's getting harder now with all flowers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. After I ran into (read: caused) some critical problems with my last grow I took some of the lessons I learned and am already back with my nose to the grindstone. I've made a few changes to my setup, namely I decided to switch to using seperate buckets instead of the combined tote for a number of reasons; Less risk of TPK from shared issues, less wasted nutes, higher air/water ratio, easier to inspect the plants, the whole nine yards. I also went and decided to upgrade from the SF1000 to the SF2000, because I could, so there. These are the last of the Green Crack seeds I got from a localish seed bank, this time I started the germ by soaking them for 24hrs in a glass of water and then transferring them to the paper towel method, were they only spent a grand total of two days in before they were already shooting out tap roots and I moved them to the Rockwool (with a dash of Great White) and into the lot new homes today. And I definitely learned a lesson from last time in regards to my feeding, they're just on straight tap water here until they pop and get past their baby leaves. Learned my lesson about lockout the last time.

Cut the grow nutrient this week. This girl has been powering through as the lone survivor. Amazing trichome production for such an early stage. Should be another few weeks with this girl but shes already turning colors. 12/12 since September 5th, first buds September 14th.

I used a bounty paper towel inside of a 6x4 glass storage container cut to match size. Sprayed distilled water generously over, then gently placed seeds evenly apart from each other. Placed a second paper towel and sprayed again with distilled water. Sprayed inside lid and closed for 48 hours prior to opening. Left raised above ground floor on cardboard box directly in front of heat intake duct. Temp and humidity were around 75-80F and 60-70%humidity. after a successful beginning, I then planted each seed using latex gloves into 4 different pots ; 1-5gallon happy frog only, 1- 5gallon pot happy frog with clay pebbles, 1-3 gallon pot happy frog only and 1-3gallon happy frog and clay pebbles. I covered each seed with a cut up 2litre clear soda bottle with small holes poked on the tops. I sprayed down the soil and the plastic containers. I left them covered until I noticed the cotyledon leaves then I removed the plastic covers, increased circulating fan speed and added a bag of exhale co2. Watered daily 2-3 times by misting with spray. (Distilled water in humidifier and used in feeding)
